I was excited to find a replacement slipper for my 15 year old Cabelas pair. I was excited to see they were bison because they would last even longer than leather. Attached is a picture showing my ll bean wore out in 14 months compared to 15 years with Cabelas. They didn't even become flexible before the paper thin sole wore through. Also the laces came untied weekly

Nice while they lasted. Purchased in 2019, worn indoors on carpeted floors. After 2 years, the stitching on the toe has pulled out on one side. Not the the quality I expect from an L.L. Bean's product.

They are a pretty loafer but have zero tread on soles which means no traction.

american made quality and some not quality shoes I am a size 13 C if available Based on customer reviews, I ordered a size 13-- found them to be short and wide-- ordered a size 14 & length was ok but much too wide- understanding they will stretch they were of no use to me-- returning both pair- little surprised with LLBean as I have been a customer for many years and always been satisfied- I might also add that shoes do NOT conform to the human foot-- our toes are not square, but taper from little toe to big toe, however shoes are almost square and slightly rounded which puts the longest( big ) toe at the shorter length of the shoe

The size was too big and the soles were very slippery on carpetlike walking on ice.

This product was supposed to be my best pair of slippers ever. However they didn't even last a full year without a hole wearing in the bottom heel. I mostly walked on carpet and laminate flooring. The inside of my left slipper became unglued and became uncomfortable to wear unless I wore a pair of no-show socks. Because of the price I paid I was expecting longevity. Didn't happen. I've always wanted leather slippers inside and out. So disappointed in the quality of this product. $109.00 is a lot to pay for slippers.

The slipper is beautiful BUT the bottom sole is so slippery that I can't let my husband wear these on hard floors and definitely not on a rug or carpet. Going up and down stairs? No Way. He literally slid across our wood floor like a skating rink. We will be exchanging for something with some type of textured sole. Falling is not my goal with these slippers and that would be a guarantee. Sorry guys. Love LLBEAN. The slippers are beautiful. Just can't wear them.

The sides of this moccasin are so short that I cannot picture them fitting a normal sized man's foot without raising a ton of blisters while these break in, especially since the leather is incredibly stiff, not what I would expect from moccasins or slippers at all. I have Wellington boots with softer leather than these.

The soles are too smooth and slick for anyone with balance issues- need slow with more traction- other than that, very comfortable

This is my 3rd pair, spanning about 30 years. The first 2 pair were rugged and comfortable. The soles just finally wore through. I've had the latest pair for four years, and they are ok for comfort but the left one ripped out along the top stitching to the right of where the lace is tied. I first noticed it about a year ago but it keeps getting worse. I guess I expected more from bean products.

I have carpeting in my house. These glided so much on the carpeting that it seemed like a sheet of ice between the bottom of the slipper to the carpet. I was scared near stairs.

Good looking and light, but too stiff and feels like a cardboard. Maybe if worn for a month too break in, but not willing to endure the wait. Returned.

You do not get sure footing with this item. Slips and slides easily on rugs and floors. Otherwise, the leather seems sturdy enough.

I always liked these mocs, the soles and outsides wore well. But.......I have never had a pair of shoes or mocs (even from LL Bean) that wore out on the INSIDE!! The leather on the inside of the moc wore out, so my feet feel cracked leather inside. Not good. Now, I am sure these are a couple years old, but no other shoe I have ever had, wore out on the Inside!! The leather on the inside must be incredibly thin. There are no innersoles on this moc, and all the rest is good, but I question if another pair would be different. Reasonable price, but goodness :(

I first ordered a size 9, which is what I wear in most every other shoe. They were too big, but unevenly big (my right slipper was larger than my left slipper). I returned them for a size 8. Once they arrived I put them on and they were very, very snug. LL Bean, I wish you made half sizes in your slippers!. I also immediately noticed that the bottoms were very SLIPPERY on the floor. We have hardwoods, rug and tile, and it was very slippery on all surfaces. I read another review that said to scuff up the bottoms on concrete, so I went outside and skidded my feet across the sidewalk, ruining the leather on the bottom. I went inside and it was a *little* better, but I still find myself doing "Kramer Slides" around the house. They are very well made and a very good looking house shoe, but now I have a scuffed up product that I can't return that also feels uncomfortably tight on my feet and make me feel like I will slip at any moment. I have 10 month old twins that I carry around together and I don't feel safe wearing these shoes when I'm carrying them. I wish I could return them but now I can't because the bottoms are scuffed.

Previous slippers I had with a lining were great. This all leather inside is very uncomfortable. It is more like a moccasin that you need to wear socks with. Really isn't a slipper---made a mistake ordering it.Can I return them ?? Will someone get back to me ?? Thanks, WJH

The slippers squeak loudly. Somewhere there is leather rubbing against leather. Very annoying.

The leather is stiffer than expected. the right slipper fits just fine but the left slipper is causing a blister on the top side of my foot. The sewing at the point of where the top meets the side is hard and raised so it rubs against the top side of my foot causing pain and a blister. I went back to my old slippers until my foot feels better.

I bought this as a replacement for some moose-hide slippers I got from beans nearly 10 years ago; those were soft, well-cushioned, and had a rubber-like bottom sole. These are nothing like those slippers; they are quite stiff, and the sole is just a stiff leather, making them very slippery on hard surfaces.

I bought these for my husband for Christmas to replace a previous LLBean slipper that is wearing out. The styles appear to have changed over the years since I bought the previous pair and I couldn't find an exact match. The leather in the old pair is soft, supple and so comfortable. This new pair (supposedly same size according to labels) is stiff and hard and very uncomfortable. We keep hoping it will get better after a "break in" period. But so far that isn't happening and the old ones are still his go to favorite. Will probably return these.

In past years, I have purchased and worn the double sole slippers and have enjoyed wearing them. Those slippers were made in Maine of soft tanned leather. The slippers are now made in Asia using an inferior stiff leather. I would have paid more for the quality of the slippers in past year.

I wear a perfect size 9 and these are to big. Bean says half size order up? Cost me money to send back. No more footwear from Beans for me.

These are very comfortable moccasins however the leather sole on one shoe wore through after a little over a year. I wish they had the molded rubber soles like the flannel lined moccasins they sell (which I also have a pair of). I am returning these and exchanging them for the ones like these but are made of bison hide instead of cowhide. Hope the sole is also made of bison hide or will probably have same issue as these I am returning.

Beautiful slipper, but my husband had a large hole in the sole within 6 months. He only wore them in the house on carpeting and hardwood flooring. I wanted to return them but he never got around to doing it. I would not recommend these slippers to anyone unless you would, perhaps, only wear them on carpeted flooring. Good luck!
