Beautiful Shoe and beautifully made, but made a lousy slipper. I found it hard on bare feet, compared with the shearling lined slipper (the same shoe) which is super comfortable. I returned the leather for the shearling lined leather, and am delighted

The soles on these slippers are polished leather, very slippery. Kind of dangerous.
Quality is good but these are pretty stiff out of the box.

My husband likes them and he is extremely picky. Says they are easy to get on and off and comfortable

These shoes are Horrible, they are totally UNSAFE to wear. They are extremely
Slippery on the bottoms. I wore them for three dangerous steps, took them off and returned. They should NOT be sold, they are dangerous. Do NOT buy, YOU WILL be injured! Beware!!

I had previously purchased this slipper and the original pair lasted at least 5 years. I replaced them because the fog chewed them up. I repurchased another pair a year and a half ago and the sole has a hole in it despite only being worn in carpeted floors in my home. Would not recommend.

Like the shoe. Stepped through the questions to get the right size for me but they are too big for these house shoes. Added heel inserts but still too big. Too bad they don't come in 1/2 sizes. I recommend try in on before buying.

I followed LL Bean's guidance on choosing the right size for me however these slip-ons are too big even after inserting a spacer in the heel. I like the slipper but they don't fit. I don't recommend buying them online.

Bought size 9M--too large. Then tried 8M--too small. Usually one or the other will fit, or at least be close. These just don't work for me. Quality and construction looked good, also liked styling. Been wanting to try these, so it's disappointing.

Slippers look great but rub my left foot and cause the skin to break. Will have to find a way to stop it from rubbing my foot and beaking the skin. It only takes about 5 minutes of wear and walking for this to happens then takes a week to heal.

Insoles and lining appear to be synthetic. Laces needed modifications so they didn't cut into my instep.
Made in El Salvador, smell like El Salvador.
(I worked in a tannery there).

THEY WEAR OUT SLOWLY. BUT I HAVE REPLACED THEM EVERY FEW YEARS FOR 25 YEARS. CANNOT BEAT THE QUALITY AND COMFORT

Love these but alas, unlike when Cabelas sold these, they only come in D width. Cabelas had them also in EE for those of us with duck feet, so when mine finally wear out, I'm not sure what I'll do. Tried these in longer size but did not work. For the price that is charged for these, seems like carrying them in EE shouldn't be that big of a burden.

The arch support does not run the full length of the shoe and is peeling up when I take my foot out. I have supper glued several times and just received them in the last 2 weeks. Come on LL. Bean?

Returned the slippers as the soles were very slippery.
This is, over the years, the only item purchased that was a disappointment.

Had the suede version for a few years and loved those. Hey were much softer and more comfortable. These are a bit stiffer. Hopefully will break in over time.

Not up to LL Bean's history of quality. Leather feels very cheap with a "plastic" like hand to it. Sole was bunched up due to glue failure.

Bottom insole has become loose on right slipper. Would not expect this to happen after just a few weeks.

These are way too slippery for anybody to wear. They don't have a rubber sole. I'm not sure I want to order from LL Bean anymore since they don't allow free returns.

Perhaps my expectations were too high. Ordered up based on half size recommendation and they were too large. For me half size smaller fit great. After a few days break period these became the most comfortable slippers ever. They took the shape of my foot perfectly. But now, after 9 months around the house it is beginning to wear through the bottom. Unfortunate.

These were too narrow for my feet and I didn't like the very slick soles right out of the box.

I asked my wife for these last Christmas. At that time they were advertised as "durable". By May they had holes worn through both soles. I wore them around the house. I returned them to LLBean.
LLBean said the holes were normal wear and tear and that they would not repair or replace them. I have had leather soled moccasins before that lasted years before they wore out. These are beautifully made but the leather is too soft and definitely not durable.
I am disappointed in LLBeans response and will look elsewhere for future footwear purchases. T

Looked like good quality but that hard bottom just to slick. Returns take a long time so cancelled a replacement was taking weeks.

Do NOT size up one-half size as recommended.
The slippers are huge and unwearable when we received a size 10 because LLBean recommended we order 1/2 size larger than usual shoe size.
Now I have to pay to ship back!!

The first pair I bought lasted 1 year, but were replaced at no cost as defective. The replacements only lasted 2 years with the right shoe wearing out at the ball and toe with the heal not far behind. The left shoe is in perfect shape. Go figure.
Disappointed,
