I ordered 2 different pair of men's slippers and this one was not his pick. They were beautiful but he needed more support. His pick was the fur inside.

I owned a pair of these in the 90's and was quite pleased with them. I came across an ad recently and decided to try them again. As the saying goes, my bad. The leather is not of the same quality, the fit is not as true and the overall quality is not of the premium quality you would expect for a One hundred dollar expense. If you have never experienced the before then these might suffice but I have and they do not. For those that have had the old don't waste your money on the new.

They're a bit stiff, make noise when I walk and it's taking a good amount of time for the leather to soften.

I have to mention that the slippers I received did not look like the ones in the catalog photo. Mine are about 2-3 shades lighter than what you'd expect. I am thinking over time they might darken and soften. I also had to trim some rough edges on the inside. Nonetheless, I think the suppliers have changed from the original. These are from El Salvador and I like that. They are what to get if you want slippers that don't look like you are wearing slippers. Its a nice casual way to dress up a little at home.

Had half sizes been offered, I believe I would be wearing them now and providing a higher rating. I tried both 10 and 11 sizes but neither fit correctly. The quality appeared decent but cannot comment beyond that.

I have had multiple pairs of these slippers, and really enjoyed wearing them! They were comfortable, looked good, and wore like iron. BUT ... Bean has decided that they don't need to supply these slippers in half sizes anymore. I ordered the next whole size up as Bean recommends, but they are far too large for my feet, and I will be returning them. I am disappointed in this marketing choice, and rated the slippers as 3 stars rather than the 5 stars I would have otherwise given.

I have been buying these slippers for years, but the last couple pairs have had multiple issues. They are narrower than they used to be, the liner is bunched up in the toes making it uncomfortable, and the liner wears out very quickly, leaving the wearer with a very uncomfortable worn out liner platform to stand on.

Product is beautiful to look at, but too loose fitting, and insufficient arch. Also the lacing won't stay tied and is too weak to pull the moc in tighter. Was also expecting a bit stronger sole, so being careful walking outside as I don't feel the soles will work even in dry weather.

The shoe rubbed a sore on the side of my foot at the ankle bone. Tried using pad to help but still got blisters.

If you have narrow feet, forget about these slippers. The slippers appear to be very nice. I can't give them a rating because they are so wide that I couldn't even walk with them with my orthotic "filling" them up. If you have fat feet, go for them.

For years I purchased the flannel line slippers but they don't last long. These are really nice but slippery to walk in and tough to bend. I'm sure they will last longer than the flannel lined but would not buy again.

Pretty expensive for what you get. I'm on my 4th pair and the price has risen over the years from about $65 to the current price of over $100. Not sure if I'll purchase anothre pair when these wear out. I take the leather laces out. The laces don't stay tied and serve no functional purpose.

Why not put some type of sole on these like the old driving shoe? Not a very sturdy bottom, too slippery.

I got these for Christmas, and have only worn them a few days and the inside sole insert is coming apart. Needless to say I'll be returning them for a new pair. Hopefully it was just a one time thing...

The bottoms are very slippery and my father almost fell. Need to return and find a pair with a tread for him.

I wear Good Feet orthodics and it is important that I have comfortable shoes that will accommodate the inserts. When I read that these slippers were slightly oversized I thought they would be perfect for my space taking inserts. Not to be. The slippers looked great but they were still waaaaaay to big for me. I guess the lesson for me is don't buy any footwear unless I try it on in person with my inserts. I wish they would have fit because they look like exactly what I needed....but a size 10 would be too small and you don't make half sizes in this product.

I have had many of these Comfortable slippers over the past 8 years, but they wear out quickly, either the sole or the inside, where the leather will start to roll up and it will irritate your foot, I just exchange them for new slippers. On the inside of the slipper, it states that it's Made in El Salvador, so maybe L.L.Bean should have the contractor put more glue on the inside seams!

I ordered this shoe to use foremost in the house. LL does not offer 1/2 sizes in this shoe, instructions said order next size up, which I did. When shoes promptly arrived I was very excited once I opened the box. These were beautiful shoes..the material and workmanship seemed to be flawless. However, once I tried them on, different story. The width at the toe was perfect but the heel width seemed to be just as wide. They slipped up and down on my feet like a pair of "flip flops". Very disappointed that I had to return this fine looking pair of shoes. As expected LL was prompt in accepting return and issuing credit less the restocking fee.

The left shoe is at the toe is wide. The right shoe at the toe is very narrow. Right shoe is very tight at toe. Also, they don't look like they go together. Left is wide across front and left is narrow.

My wife bought these to replace my 30+ year old LLBean slippers. But this new pair has a pretty hard bottom and are more like an uncomfortable shoe than a slipper. So, I will be returning them and going back to my old pair, which are worn on the inside, but still soft and feel great. The new "slippers" are well made, but not what I expected or wanted.

Trying to work through a blister on top of my left foot at my big toe joint. I am working the leather with my hands to get the leather broken in. Seems to be working but I never had to do this before with my first two pair.

I had a pair of Bean's Handsewn Flannel Lined slippers that fit perfectly so I ordered the same size. The new Leather Double-Sole Slipper fits at least a half size larger which was disappointing and reminded me again of the downside of ordering clothes online.
