Ordered my normal size and will have to wear extra thick socks but that's not a complaint! They will definitely keep my feet dry and warm through this winter and many more to come!

Purchased these boots for the upcoming Winter and anticipated snow. Fit fine on arrival but had to reset the removable inner liner as it was not fully seated in boot bottom. Follow the size suggestions for ordering as I am a size 10 shoe and size 9 boot fits just right with medium weight socks. Get longer socks to fold over top of boot to close gap around boot top to keep snow/slush from entering. Waiting for snow.

This will be my go to boot for average winter snows - when it's just too deep for my Gumshoes. I am a size 9.5 and I've bought many pairs of Bean Boots at size 9. This works for anything from a light summer sock (a bit roomy but perfectly comfortable) to thermal winter socks. I have Bean Boots going back 30 years and these new ones are the same quality. I expect years of wear. I will add some extra waterproofing (always have) before wearing them too much and the heavy weather sets in - my feet are always perfectly dry. These are the real thing that can't be matched by any of the lookalikes. Worth every penny!

These are excellent boots. I had always wanted a pair when I purchased these. When I put them on I didn't want to take them off. They are very comfortable. I had a hard time deciding if I should get insulated or uninsulated. I choose insulated and plan to buy another pair uninsulated.

I've had the gumshoe for quite some time, but it never really did the trick in wintertime so I decided to upgrade to these guys. These guys are as good as advertised. The thinsulate provides enough warmth to keep your feet warm, but not so much where they become too sweaty. As far as sizing goes I wear a 11.5 in dress shoes/sneakers and I went with a 10 in the Bean Boots. I was glad I sized down that much. They are a comfortable fit with both thick and thin socks. Also, glad I went with the 8 inch as opposed to the 6 inch. I feel like they are the perfect size to keep your feet dry from deeper snow. All in all a perfect rain/snow shoe.

Very comfortable, and quite warm to boot. I really appreciate that these boots are still handmade in America, and this really shows through in the quality.

Still a well made boot. So glad that it is still made in Maine. Made me feel good to spend my money on this American made product.

Bought these about 6 months ago..and unfortunately got the wrong size :( Customer service was fantastic and helped me order the write size and color that I needed. These boots are fantastic, I wear them while walking to work in boston when ever it rains or snows and they are GREAT! Highly recommend!

Gotta love the Bean Boots. This is my fourth pair. I ordered according to the sizing guide and this time i ordered the narrow-(B). The boots are a little tight but i can manage.i wear size 11.5 in most everything so i got the size 10 narrow in the Bean boot. i didn't want them sloshing around on my feet.

These boots are fantastic the best boots I have ever owned in my life. You know you're wearing a strong, warm, solid boot when you have these on. I thought they might slip on ice, but the legendary soles grab the ice. I just love them. I don't wear thick socks with them, so I was able to buy a half size down from my natural size and they fit perfectly.

Obviously I love the new boots. Thank you Lancelot for making them. But I really commend the customer service effort. When I received my boots they were a bit narrow. I called the support number and spoke with a friendly knowledgeable rep who advised how easy the return/exchange process was. I received my new pair in just 3 days and they fit perfectly. I am happy with the quality of the boots. It has worked well with wet weather, camping, and hunting. I went a half size down with Wide EE and my feet feel great in them! I am very happy with my purchase.

Comfy, almost no breaking in and if you want these boots and always pass due to the lead time -trust me, they're worth the wait! Follow the LLB fitting suggestions and you'll get the correct size.

I recently purchased a pair of duck boots for my fiance. Originally, they were to be a Christmas gift, but due to overwhelming demand, they didn't come in until Feb (which was then a Valentines Day gift). Upon arrival, the boots were too large and we had to return for smaller size. I wish I had heeded the advice of the customer service rep who told me to order smaller size to begin with because these boots run large. We got the correct size boots end of March, just in time to call them his Birthday present...LOL :-) Each time I had to correspond with LL Bean, they were friendly, helpful and informative. My fiance LOVES his new boots and is always showing them off! My father has ordered many items from LL Bean over the years and is always very happy with the products. I too am now a believer!

I've been meaning to order a pair of these boots for a long time and am happy to finally have them! They're great for rain/snow and light enough to even wear in non-freezing weather. I ordered my normal size, 12, and they fit great with a little thicker sock.

I initially purchased another cheaper brand and had to return them due to poor quality. I purchased these and am very pleased with the quality.

Greatly pleased with the boots I ordered. I followed Bean's ordering guide and the boots fit me perfectly. I took them out of the box and wore them for the next two days in wet and muddy conditions. Thank you Jean (boot maker) and thank you Bean for a quality "Made in America" product!

These boots are great for the snow or great boots for when it is raining out and you don't want to get your feet wet. I ordered these online without knowing my size and thankfully the next time I went to my local L.L. Bean store they had them in stock.

Well-made by Maine workers with quality components. LL Bean has totally embraced the concept that their trademark product will be created by local folks who are trained in the lost art of footwear manufacturing. My Bean boots (all 9 pairs of them) will be passed on to my children - they are that good!

Had to return them for Smaller size, they run too big. Wish I had known to order a size down. Now I have to wait till April for this very popular boots.

Purchased boots for my son who is in College. We went to the store in CT to purchase boots but actually got fitted instead as the store did not have his size. Ordered online. My son says the boots fit nicely but need some time to be broken in since they are very stiff.

I ordered these boots for my son. I ordered up thinking he could wear them a little big and get more time with them. They were too large, but a friend from school wanted them and there is usally a wait time. He came over and they fit so he was very happy. I immediately ordered another size for my son and they came when promised. He loves them. They are worth the wait! I had these twenty some years ago and who knows- I may order a pair for myself!

These L.L. Bean Boots are amazing! They were well worth the wait of 2 months for them! My boyfriend absolutely loves them. He walks a mile to work in the Chicago winter. They keep his feet nice and dry and warm. The boots run a size larger than normal. I ordered a size 10 when he normally wears 11 in boots. The size smaller fits him perfectly. The craftsmanship of these boots are amazing! I loved them so much that I ordered a pair for myself. I can't wait until them come in, but I have to wait until May!

I bought the boots for my grandson and he absolutely loves them. They fit perfect, true to size, and he wears them every day. I can see more boots being purchased in th future for other members of my family. You just can't beat the quality and the fact that they are handmade in the USA.
