This is a quality boot. At first the regular was to tight. Exchanged for the wider version and they fit better. The size chart was accurate, but having a 9 1/2 size foot I could have tried the regular size for comfort. I would buy these again if I ever need another pair.

I wore them for a day snow blowing, and never once thought about my feet -- they were comfortable and able to handle the needs of the work. At the end of the day, it was clear they worked the way I wanted.

The best boots I've ever purchased so far hands down! I read the reviews about the sizing and they were right. They do run big. I wear a 12 but since I normally buy my boots a size bigger ordering a 12 (which is really a 13) worked out great. They are comfortable, spacious, and very warm. I will definitely buy a regular pair for the fall weather.

Purchased these for colder months. Recent snowstorm in Southeast Coast and cold January temps were no match for this boot. Warm pair of darntough socks paired with this boot & my feet stayed toasty warm. Great product. My wife has a pair & loves hers as well

The fact that these are made in a narrow width is an actual life saver. Those of us with narrow feet that don't wear a large size have an impossible time finding shoes (this is the ONLY pair). They are so comfortable and great to wear. I was concerned about them being slick but after a few wears to scuff up the bottom a bit they are better than other boots and shoes I own. The fact that they are made here in the US is just icing on the cake. If they made more boots in narrow I'd be buying them no questions.

I've been wanting a pair of these boots for over a year and finally purchased them. The moment I tried them on I could honestly feel the warmth, comfort, and, quality of these great boots! Recommended them to my friend and let him try mine on for a day and he ordered two pair! These boots have kept my feet dry and warm through the colder season. However you should wear them with longer heavier socks in order to prevent the leather from rubbing against the back of your calf. Comfortable fit with heavyweight or lightweight socks. More than worth the money!

My son is a bicycle messenger in DC. I purchased these boots for him after a recent snow fall and below average temps. He is very happy with the boots and commented that he only needed to wear 1 pair of socks to keep his feet warm.

I have worn Bean boots for more than 40 years. In that time I have had only 2 pair that were resoled several times. When you put these boots on for the first time you will understand was comfort is. These were purchased as a Christmas gift for my son. He put them on immediately and did not take them off for the entire day.

The quality of these boots are amazing. My pair was made by Aaron. I hesitated spending a lot of money on a pair of boots that would only be used ocassionally. But I've used these boots a few times already for general yard work and light snow removal and they were fantastic. I went down a size to 9 from usual shoe size 10 and I wore them with wool socks (an LL Bean crew sock). The fit was fine. They were comfortable and dry in 30 degree weather removing snow. I treated the leather top with a quick wipe of mink oil especially on the seams. The boots did need a wear or two to break in the leather top and now they are fine. I also bought the Bean socks for these boots but I have not used them yet, not cold enough. In the end the cost of the boots are well worth it. A quality product made in Maine that will last for years. It doen't get much better than that.

Bought my first pair of boots over a year ago. Did not pay attention, and found out I ordered the boots in a size too big as well as too wide resulting in foot pain. A full year later, I told customer representative Kera, my issues. See quickly solved the problem and did it completely hassle free. I am very, very, very satisfied with my new boots and extremely satisfied with excellent customer service.

I highly recommend getting one of these lovely boots and they get a lot of compliments. Thank you Lisa and I shall name my boots after you.

I'm a college student who does lots of walking and just got these boots today. Ordered them on Tuesday and they came Friday of the same week. I also ordered these boots true to size which was the right call for me because moving a whole size down would be too small if you were to wear thick socks. That being said they are beautifully made and more comfortable than I could have imagined. Can't wait to take on many Michigan winters in comfort and style.

I purchased a pair of these approximately 25 years ago and they are still going strong (other than the sole getting very smooth). I was heading to Ireland and realized I didn't have a good pair of all weather boots (and I needed a little more traction) so I bought these again and couldn't have been happier. I Sno Sealed them before I left and didn't wear them until my plane ride to Ireland. Wore them every day and except for a little tenderness just above the ankle for the first two days while I broke in the leather, they were wonderful. By the time I came home a week later, they fit like a nice pair of old shoes. Well done L.L. Bean, well done. One word of caution. I'm a 10 1/2 and a 10 was just perfect with normal socks. I believe the website says to order a size and a half if wearing normal socks. Don't if you wear a 1/2 size.

I love my new pair of boots. Just follow the sizing guidelines and you'll be fine. I'm a 10.5 so I ordered a 9 and it fits perfectly. I know I will still be wearing these beauties 30 years from now. Thanks LL Bean!

I work a 12 hour shift at night in all kinds of weather on a horse farm in Kentucky. I needed a waterproof boot that was comfortable and fit great. It passed all 3 tests. I normally wear size 8 1/2 and I bought these boots in size 7. Fit perfect. But what else would you expect from the great people at L.L.Bean.

These boots are well made but a little snug. I suggest ordering a half size larger. Maybe when they are broken in they will fit better.

I love these boots. My wife and I each have a pair, and now, most recently, my Dad has a pair too. They fit perfect, keep our feet dry, warm, and aren't too heavy like some of the cheap imitations out there. You get what you pay for and these boots are definitely worth the money. I purchased these to replace a pair of storm chasers I had. The boots kept my feet warm and dry while I walked around in the slush and snow. Sizing recommendations were on the mark. Kudos to Annie my boot maker. Great job.

These are great boots. Comfortable to wear and much easier to get on and off vs past boots I have had (many pairs over the years). Make sure to take LL Beans advise on sizing. I have these just a few months but have worn them in rain and snow stoms and they have kept my feet dry and warm.

This boot was exactly what they said it would be , it fit perfectly if u follow the size guidelines, i am very pleased with the quality of this boot and will but more in the future.
