Due to the one piece tongue, I was unable to get these boots on. I waited months to get these boots only to return them.

I purchased this boot for my husband. The top of the boot was way to large and my hubby is not a small man. He was able to put his thumb in the top after tightening the laces as hard as he could. I believe these boots need to be redesigned. I have returned the boot and reordered a 10" boot instead of the 8". I haven't received the new boots but hopefully they will fit him correctly.

Thin is the operative word for the "insulation", and not even for the whole boot, just the foot area. I've had LL Bean insulated boots for 23 years, but I'm returning these (on my dime!!) immediately. The quality is no more! I'll try to fix the ones I have, while I go find another vendor.

I was looking for a winter boot. This is not it. Not as tall as pictured, paper thin insulation only in the very bottom, very flimsy construction. I expected more from Bean
