I've had these for about three seasons now & they are the best on the market you'll find for the money. I actually had to wait about a month as they were out of stock, not surprising. They are very warm, waterproof; I treated the uppers with Beans boot goop. Good support & comfortable. I wear a size 10 with heavy socks for a perfect fit. USA made in Maine- you won't find better! -BC

I love these boots, but I should have paid closer attention to the sizing warnings. I always wear a 9, but, just like the website specified, I should have ordered an 8. Oh, well! I still love the boots!

I ordered the boots in October but they were back ordered. The date promised was January but they arrived the end of December. In mild weather which we have had this year, one pair of socks is fine but my feet are a little sloppy inside. Lately the weather has turned normally cold and two pair of socks is great. The only problem I have had is in walking on glossy tile floors that are wet, they are a bit slippery. Comfortable, warm and dry!

Initially ordered and received a message that my order would be delayed (a couple of months). No worries on my part. No reason to not believe. LL Bean, true to their word, delivered!

Great for both cold and wet weather, also very comfortable. Only complaints might be that there was still some space in the toe area even though I went down 1 1/2 shoe sizes from my sneakers, however Im glad I didn't go down to the next size.

After seeing the story on TV about the LLBean Boots in November, I had to order a pair for my husband for Christmas. After placing the order, I was notified that I would have wait until Feb 29 for them, but I wanted them, so I decided to keep the order. You can change your mind if you don't want to wait. They arrived in time for Christmas but sadly they are too small. All of the reviews stated that they run big so I ordered a size smaller, so they have to go back. Darn! They look amazing! A great boot worth the wait!

Nice product overall looks well made I hope it stands up to the cold here in the northeast.

This is my first pair of bean boots and while I always see people with the tan ones I went with the brown. Let me tell you that I was not disappointed! These boots fit well, I sized down to a 11 from 11.5 and I typically wear thick socks so they fit perfectly. They're great looking boots and are perfect for rainy days, can't wait to try them in the snow this winter! Will definitely buy a second pair in a different color/height to add to my collection.

I have been trying to order these for the past 3 years and I finally got them! I never thought waiting for them while on back-order was worth the wait, but this time around I said "what heck, let's do it." Yes, the hype is worth the wait, these are probably the most comfortable pair of boots that I have purchased. They do however run VERY large. You must go down an entire size of what you actually wear. Cheers to L.L. Bean and all of their outstanding products.

ORDER A SIZE DOWN!!!! Not sure why they call a size 14 a 13 etc,,, Got the replacement just in time before boots got back ordered.

As soon as I laced these boots up, it started raining outside. I decided to forego my usual drive to the grocery store and walk there instead. These things are totally waterproof, and SO warm. I honestly can't wait until it starts snowing! Get them now, you won't regret it!

I've owned several pairs of Bean Boots over the years, this pair is by far my favorite pair, they fit great, I know you're supposed to go a size down when it comes to Bean Boots but the pair with the "Thinsulate" fits more snug than the original pair I own, so take that into consideration when you are buying these boots. Overall, it's about your comfort, I normally wear a size 10 shoe but have always bought my Bean Boots in a size 9. My toe doesn't rub in the front of the boot but it does feel tighter around my foot. If you mind your pair feeling a little snug, i recommend buying your normal size.

I purchased these boots last year and it was on back order for 4 months. This year I decided to buy them early before the holiday shopping began. It was great! I received the boots in 4 days! Would highly recommend doing this if you're thinking about buying the boots for a Christmas present.

I purchased these boots for my son who just moved to Virginia for his freshman year of college (we live in SC). The school is in a rural area with a lot of rain & potential for adverse weather. He requested these boots & let me say...they were worth every cent !!! He called me when he got them & said it was "like walking on puppies" !!! LOLOL I have NO idea what that means , but he loves those boots !! He has VERY long, narrow feet, usually wearing a 12.5 or 13 narrow. We ordered a 11 narrow, and they're a perfect fit. He requested the thinsulate due to the upcoming cold weather....but has requested the regular for next spring !!! Will DEFINATELY be purchasing them...along with some for my husband and myself !!!

My boots arrived and they fit well. Time will tell if they live up to the Bean reputation, but I'm confident they will.

I've had knock off versions of these boots in the and hated them. My husband was looking thru the wish book and said he'd like to try them. With trepidation and a sigh, I ordered. HE LOVES THEM!! In the last 10 days he's only had one in which these were not a go to. He always has problems with rubbing and interiors (guys are sooo sensitive) and no problems. Guess we need a version that is suit ready :)

I received the boots quickly after ordering them just in time for the big "hurricane". I was able to keep my feet warm and dry during the raging winds and downpours while watching my rugby team. The boots themselves are definitely a little larger but like the website says thicker socks will make them fit more snugly. Great quality and cant wait for more outdoor adventures

I have owned these boots since my boyfriend (now my husband of over 20 years) bought them for me! I purchased this pair for my son who is a freshman in college. You can never go wrong with LL Bean.

I ordered my husband the thinsulate insulated version, he wears a 10 and the size 10 fit him perfectly. He said if he went smaller it would have been too small. There was some room, but not much. I think the thinsulate takes up the extra room. I got the basic version with no padding/insulation and the size 7 fit my size 8.5 feet.

I purchased the Bean Boots for my son. He describes the fit and comfort of the boots as perfect for his daily walks on campus. Looking forward to the fall and winter and dry and warm feet!

Another great product from LL Bean. Sizing was a little bit of a problem. Normally a 13 Med would be good. Was a bit too snug so went to 13 Large and is now perfect. Exchange process couldn't be easier. Again, thanks for great products.
