Surprised by just how comfortable they were right out of the box.

In most shoes, I wear a 10.5 but I bought 10 in this boot. Great fit. Comfortable. Great fit. Easy to care for. No complaints! Def recommend!

I bought these boots during the Christmas season so I was impressed by the price. I received them quickly and in good condition. I wore them on a four mile hike up Waterton Canyon in Littleton Colorado to watch bighorn sheep. There was snow and slush on the road so the boots protected my feet well. The thinsulate lining in the footbed kept my feet warm. The boot performed well in the mud,slush and ice. I would not use them as hikers. These boots are good for keeping your feet warm and dry while walking for short distances in the woods or for hunting. They are not as sturdy as hiking boots. I would recommend them for friends looking for a hunting boot, walking in the snow or muck. I have wanted a pair of LL Bean boots since I was a kid and the catalog only showed clothing and equipment for fishing, hunting and camping. Things sure have changed!! Glad to see the Bean boots haven't. Oh! One more thing. Please heed the sizing instructions! They are spot on.

Great boots for outside hiking. Being waterproof makes these great for keeping your feet dry. Order a full size lower than normal shoes.

Great fitting boot. Have had one pair of Bean boots for four decades and could still wear them, but it was time for a new pair and these are better. Easier to put on and love the insulation that my old ones lacked. Were comfortable to wear with the first snowfall.

I would definitely recommend these boots. They cover all style basis. They run a full size big, I bought an 8 and I still have a little extra toe room, but wear a 9 in all other shoes.

The boot is well-made. It is hard to find boots in size 14. This boot fits well.

How do you top an icon. For what they were made for, these are the best boots out there. This is my second pair, the first lasting 20 years and are still usable. I like them best when used with thick socks. Even in the warm summers they are not too hot. They keep your feet warm and dry in the winter.

This is my first pair of Bean Boots and they're everything I expected. At the recommendation of a Bean employee at the local store, order one size smaller - mine fit great.

excellent boot for Chicago winter, And that is a lot to say It shows that it is handmade. Comfortable, firm, excellent with any casual look. To walk long distances can be a hard thing but even you can notice some comfort compared to other boots. although it is thinsulate you can feel a certain cold in your feet if you don't wear proper socks. but overall excellent boots, I hope they last as long as they promise.

It is my first L.L.Bean Boots and not disappointed at all. Warm, soft, stylish, comfortable and durable. I bought size 8, medium D and was not mistaken, but if you have opportunity to try them before buying, you should do it - sizing is little bit complicated. Actually, I highly recommend these shoes

I wear size 10. Agent recommended order size 9. They were a little short. With heavy socks I would order regular size. excellent quality otherwise

Amazing boots super warm and insulated and they completely keep feet dry as advertised! I LOVE all my LL bean products including winter jacket, gloves, sweat shirts, boots, and slippers! Customer service is incredible and fast and accommodating! I would recommend getting a full size down from normal shoe size as I have to exchange mine for a size 8!

Great boot for Christmas. Living in New England has made these boots an essential component to the cold and wet winter. A little stiff at first but after wearing these a little longer, they should soften up nicely.

I have never been able to find a narrow sized boot, except the LL Bean "Cresta" brand. I'm on my second pair of these, great boots, but pricy. This year I stumbled on these boots after returning a pair of size D shoes that looked narrow in the bean photo, nope! These boots fit like a glove, I wear a size B. I was out with my snow blower and my new boots here in Denver CO for about an hour and a half last week, I didn't slosh around in them like I usually do with the size D's and they kept my feet warm until the end! They are 8" boots and we had 10" of snow this time, so I kept behind the snow blower. But if I had bought 10" boots it would have showed 12"!
