So far these are terrific. Had a pair I bought in the late '80s that finally blew out in 2011. Bought this pair and hope they last as long.

I purchased these same boots many years ago and loved them, 9am glad LL Beans still makes these.

This boot is a great fit true to size and the comfort level allows me to wear them hunting all day. The best feature is they are made in the USA!

I bought a pair in December of 2020 and they were a size too big. I had to wear them a few times because we were already in the snowy season but I exchanged them, for only $6 for shipping, in October of 2021 for the correct size (a full size smaller than what I usually wear for shoes) and they're perfect! I love the style, comfort and quality of these boots and the customer service at L.L. Bean is second to none! Will be a customer for life!

Wonderful quality and perfect fit. My other pair of Bean Boots only lasted 30 years (I'm till using them for rough field work). Almost looking forward to snow here in New England.

This purchase was a replacement for a twelve year old 6" boot and it demonstrated over the years that it is the perfect boot for my needs!! Comfortable and waterproof the boot is worn for many different events from fishing, car washing to snow removal. The boot has never failed me ! AND, it is made in the USA which I am proud to support the craftmanship that goes into these boots!

Comfortable boot for around town or for hiking in the woods with functional features such as waterproof protection from the rubber-bottom combined with leather upper providing protection against whatever element you may in. I wanted a boot that was not overly warm but provided some warmth for winter and the Thinsulate Insulation only in the footbed does that . I really like the LL Bean tractor sole as it doesn't pick up much debris but does provide some traction.

Very comfortable dry boots for rainy messy days. We have had lots of rain this year and I work outside most of the day , I wanted a good rain boot . Definitely would recommend it to anyone who wants a quality made boot plus it's made in the USA..

I thought about buying a pair of these and now I wonder why I waited so long.

I have 6 rescue dogs , I walk 3x a day. In the Rain , and deep snow these boots kept my feet warm , comfortable and dry. It's very difficult to find boots in my size. I was very fortunate to find them at LL Bean. Your quality of clothing is above others and last for years. Thank you.

Very comfortable boot and waterproof, we had a problem with the first pair, but Bean immediately sent a replacemnet pair, which were more comfortable than the first!

This is my second pair of "8 inchers" in 20 years. That says it all. I'd still have the original pair but Bean no longer resoles them for free. Even so, I more than got my money's worth. The only negative thing can say is "I wish more of the models come in EE widths". I would have spent much more money if that were the case. In summary, they're great boots!

I had owned a pair of Bean boots many years ago, and this winter just got to the point that I needed a new pair. I had been using old army boots I'd held onto for yard work in bad weather, but they weren't going to do this season. They fit just fine out of the box and were just what I needed for shoveling snow off the driveway and sidewalk.

It's the L.L.Bean boot. It's the best.

My husband is very happy with these boots. They are lightweight and keep his feet warm.

My Bean boots were originally purchased in the mid 1970's. I've had them re-soled twice since then and they are becoming due for a third trip back to Freeport. The current fee of $43 is a bargain. LLBean removes the leather uppers and resews them onto brand new rubber bottoms. They also repair any wear or weakness they see in the leather. This service isn't advertised. You have to search the site for "service plans". My friend has a pair that were passed down from his father. Having 45 year old Bean boots is kind of a status symbol here in the northeast.

I still regularly wear my first pair of Bean Boots and they are in their 26th year of dependable use....and never been re-soled. My wife insisted that I get another pair for winter. The Thinsulate is perfect, as is the fit I love. I'm a solid 10.5 and ordered a 10. Pure guess since the markings on my original pair have long since disappeared. Pictured is my original pair after a good cleaning and waxing. You just don't get that kind of wear from any other brand. Thanks, L.L Bean!
