Terrific quality, as expected! Terrific boots - use them for most of the hunting season in the Northeast. Sizing tips were spot on!

I am a professional mariner and wanted a dry, light boot for haulout season. We pressure wash each boat and I am often standing in puddles. I also wanted a boot with good traction on wet and sometimes frosty decks. I am almost done with haulout and these boots have been all I wanted and very comfortable. I am delighted with these boots.

Used them this past weekend while out fishing. Weather was cold but not winter cold 45 - 60 degrees. Very comfortable didn't pinch rub or cramp my feet at all. I think if I were to do it again I might get a little taller boot. These feel great and fit very well.

Fit seems good. Just what I had in mind when I ordered them. I will not know how they perform till this winter, however I have no reason to beleive it willnot be great.

My old pair lasted over 25 years. I suspect this will be the last pair I will need. The best foul weather boot made!

Ordered these boots about a year and a half ago. Wrong size arrived albeit quickly. Called customer service and they sent another pair out to me that day without waiting for the return, no questions asked. Once the right size arrived, these boots have lived up to my every expectation. Heavy winters and alot of snow/rain up here. Boots perform outstanding. Can't wait until the snow flies this year.

Too early to tell how the thinsulate works out in the winter and durability in the long term but absolutely as promised regarding dry feet. Buy the size as instructed on the web site and you won't go wrong. Very favorable product here in the north east mountain three quarters of the year.

I have had little time to use these boots. However I finally have dry feet after walking over wet ground. The boots fit right out of the box after following LL Beans quidelines for ordering at a slightly smaller size. I was not sure this would work, but it did. I wore the boots for most of a morning and my feet did not get tired at all. Appears to be a very good product.

We have had many very cold spells this winter in Maine. I should have bought these boots at the first of the winter but by the time I got around to ordering some insulated boots I wanted in the women's section, they were already sold out. I went over to the men's selection and they had my size in a narrow so I grabbed them up and sure glad I did! I don't have to wear several layers of socks nymore like with the non-insulated boots. They're perfect.

I just love my LLBean 8"Thinsulate Boots, the tread on the sole is chain-like which gives me traction on glare ice, snow and mud. They make living in our tempermental New England climate so much easier!

I like this boot. The fit is 1 full size small. I know this boot improves with age and I am looking forward to getting old with these boots.

These boots are fantastic for Jersey winters. They are soft and very comfortable. They do run a bit large, so please follow their sizing instructions. I am impressed with my LL Bean Boots.

With the brutal winter that hit NYC this year i knew i needed an upgrade over my old winter boots. And boy did i make the right choice. I'm a size 9 in sneakers and sz 9.5 in boots. I read LL Beans recommendations but decided to buy my true size so i ordered a sz 9. I was banking that the boot would fit a little big so i can wear thick socks when extremely cold and but not too big where i would be swimming in the boot when wearing normal socks. Thankfully my guess was spot on. I have yet to wear thick socks and the boots fit amazing. They are comfortable and warm with great grip. I recently wore them when ice showers hit NYC and i was walking with confidence. So, buy with confidence....and this boot is totally worth the wait!

Sent them to my son in Maine who works outside. He was thrilled, his feet are finally warm and dry. Have never bought a bad product from you.

This product could not have come at a better time. The boots have been perfect in New England this winter with our record snowfall. Warm, comfortable & durable is all that needs to be said.

I bought these for wear in the city over Vancouver's wet winter. They have performed admirably, keeping my feet warm and dry, even when I walk through deep puddles. Not only that, but they are extremely comfortable. The grip is not great on ice or hard packed snow, it's quite slippery. I wore them back to Edmonton this winter, and my feet got quite cold in them at -20 C and colder, so a more insulated version would be a better choice for harsher winters. I have had many, many compliments on these boots, often from complete strangers. I can't recommend them to other people enough. I have only had them for 4 months, but I can safely say I'll be wearing these for a long time. As many others have pointed out, ensure you size down on the boots. Just follow the sizing instructions and you'll be fine.

Ordered these boots in early January. had to wait a few weeks, but they arrived before one of our many snow storms. I was surprised at inner construction when I opened the box. They look like they should be uncomfortable. They felt a little odd with one pair of socks the first night, but have been fine since. I've worn them all day four days now, lots of walking and working, plus a few short periods shovelling and blowing snow. No complaints. No break-in needed.

My boots arrived the day of the massive snowstorm in the Midwest. I had stayed indoors all day but I wanted to visit a friend who lived nearby; my car was boxed in by snowdrifts! So I seized the opportunity to put my Bean boots to the test. The snow was 10"-12" in some places but the boots fit snugly at the top and none of the snow got inside. It's also great that they're so light because the entire walk was like walking through loose sand. Tiring. Not having huge bulky boots made a difference. It was ALSO freezing cold, with the temperature around 16 degrees F and the wind chill at about zero. But my feet never got the memo because these boots are pretty dang warm as well. In short, they're awesome! I doubt I'll ever buy anything else.

I originally ordered 8" uninsulated brown on brown-nice looking boots. After receiving , i decided i really wanted some insulation. i returned 1st. pair and ordered 2nd. pair. NO problems. I had to get tan on brown because brown on brown not offered with insulation. Too bad, only complaint. I have wide feet [double EE ] I ordered the wide width, these boots are very comfortable right out of the box. I'm quite happy.

These are great boots, I should have purchased them years ago! It has been minus 11 here in NH and tons of snow. They stay dry and are very warm. Plus they are made by Americans in Maine, got to love it............. They run a little large so take that into account when purchasing.

The insulated boots fit well as expected from Bean. This is especially important as I have narrow feet and have a hard time getting good fitting footwear. I've worn them several times in the snow and they kept my feet warm. I ordered my regular shoe size and I wear them with hunting socks. I also like the fact that they were made in Main.

These were a gift for someone who has an issue with swollen feet and the older Beans are too tight and uncomfortable. I am told these fit great and are quite comfy and warm. Also told there is now a piece of leather that goes around the seems betwen the rubber sole and leather upper that makes them even more comfy than the old ones. Great gift!!!

I purchased the boots only recently and with the waether that we have been having this year in Maine I have found them to be a God Send! Feet stay nice and warm with the Thinsulate and also stay nice and dry! Truly a boot for the Maine seasons...particulary WINTER!
