Great Quality product, beware of the special sizing info that said to order full size lower than normal size. I wear a 9N street shoe, so I ordered an 8N as outlined in the web site. Couldn't even get them on. reordered the 9N's that fit perfectly. Very happy with the product once receiving the size that fit.

I had a pair of these as a kid and recently read an article that reminded me how great they were. I immediately purchased a new pair and they have been everything I remembered. Comfortable, waterproof and really warm. The thinsulate is very reliable and light weight. Great for those days (especially here in NYC) where the rain and snow make impassible curbside puddles.

These boots are very warm and comfortable. I have been wearing them in the snow and cold weather and they keep my feet warm. The thinsulate insulation is generous enough for being outside but not too heavy for inside wear. Pay attention to the sizeing info. I wear a size 11 med. and the 10 was a perfect fit. They are a good all around boot. The leather was stiff at first and I used one application of leather conditioner and they were fine. They are very well made.

Husband was so excited to receive these for Christmas. He loves the weightlessness and the fact that they are available in narrow sizes. Delivery was wonderful, as was the entire transaction.

My husband has been wanting a winter boot like he wore in the 80s, & I finally found it on this site. He also has a hard time finding shoes that are wide enough. These are perfect!

We have ordered these boots for many years and have not been disappoited with the quality. We will continue to buy them as long as they are NOT made overseas so keep on producing them!

Bought these for my freshman at Appalachian. He loves them. They fit good and are a perfect boot for travel back in forth to class or to go play in the snow.

These boots are "keepers". My Dad, my husband and now my son have all had these boots. They are so well made they last forever and they are so comfortable you can wear them all day. I would recommend them to any outdoors person.

The boots fit perfectly and only took 2 days to work in the leather upper portion of the boot. Perfect boots that will last me many winters.

This is my husband's second pair of these boots. He didn't want anything else. We don't have bad winters here in northern nevada but sometimes we get lots of snow in the valley and these boots are just the right amount of protection from the elements that he needs. He wears them all winter long. The first pair lasted about five years.

These boots are the best for walking or hiking in the snow. They are very comfortable, keep your feet dry and the customer service was outstanding. I always got a quick answer from a "live" person. What a breath of fresh air! Thank you LL Bean!

Just received my Bean boots from L.L.Bean, I'm very happy with the purchase, very comfy n warm, listen to the instructions on the size u should get for the best fit.. I wear a 10 and the 9 fit perfect!! Can't wait 2 put these boots to the test once we get snow and cold weather here in New York.. Team L.L.Bean!!

what an amazing pair of boots. i wore them for the first time today and the results were amazing. raining all day and not a single drop made it through these guys. thinsulate kept my feet extremely warm, it actually made my feet sweaty but thats probably because its not quite winter out yet. i expect these to hold up really well in the winter

This item should be renamed and be called Maine Indestructible Shoe. I had to order a new pair after my last pair lasted only 27 years. And I'm planning on sending in my old pair to be refurbished.

This is the best part of LL Bean - The Bean Boot. Growing up wearing them in the barn taking care of horses and now for my husband to wear through the snow and winter muck to work. LL Bean does this right, Made in Maine, quality craftsmanship, thank you!!! Bravo on a great shoe.

I bought a pair of these 18 years ago, while in college, to keep my feet dry in rain-flooded streets on campus. I have since worn them countless hours while hunting, fishing, camping, cutting firewood, working in the yard and just taking out the trash. They are, without a doubt, my favorite boots. I have narrow feet, 13B, so I was thrilled to find a boot that actually fit correctly. I never even have to lace them and they fit perfectly. Unfortunately, I have finally worn holes in the soles, so I must say goodbye to this pair and order another... maybe a gift for myself for Xmas! The leather is still in really good shape, and all of the stitching is perfect. I may just keep these around for grins. I can't say enough good things. They're comfortable, warm and dry. Thanks for a great product.

First let me say it is good to be able to bye MADE IN U.S.A. Ihave not use them much yet but seem to be what I was looking for I can slip them oneay to take my Black lab out but still be able to put heave socks in them for hunting and plowing snow,

As always L.L.Bean Products are of high quality. I previously purchased similar product but in the Moc shoe style. Great fitting (if you follow L.L. Bean guidelines). Upper leather is very soft. Has a good arch support. Recommended!!

I ordered these in August so I wouldn't have to wait this winter, so I can't comment yet on their ability in the rain/snow. However I trust they'll work great based on all of the positive reviews. I have extra extra wide feet, and I ordered 1 size down in wide (ordered 12Wide, normally I'm a 13EEEE). They fit a little snug with regular socks, so I would prefer a wider width. But the heel has a lot of room, so I'm not going to try a larger size. If you have normal sized feet, then definitely follow their sizing instructions.

I ordered these for my son for Xmas. Followed the directions and ordered a size down in wide. He has ankle spurs and was pleased with the fit. I was a little disappointed with the insulation aspect that I paid extra for. I thought it was over the whole boot, but the so-called insulation is only on the inside sole of the boot. My husband also has a pair and loves them. He does wish he had ordered a size down.

Ok, just received these on Feb. 9, the day before the blizzard of 2010. Used them today. Perfect fit, so pay attention to the sizing recommendations. I just came in from several hours of snowblowing and shoveling, never felt like my feet left the house. Warm and dry. Also perfect grip, I never slipped once. Buy these and throw all of you others away!!!!

I have had my Bean boots for over a month and love them. Great construction and comfortable enough to wear all day. Sizing is true as suggested by Bean. I'm thinking about getting the unlined boot for spring. Thanks L.L. Bean for a comfortable boot still MADE IN AMERICA !

As usual the quality is supurb. I guess my family and I have been periodically shopping at LLBean for 45 years and have always been satisfied. It's nice to know in this day and age you can still find a business that offers quality.
