I usually wear a size 8.5 so I ordered an 8 and they are a perfect fit. The most comfortable boots I have ever put on my feet! Hands down, the best!!

Absolutely love these boots! I also have the tall hunter boots in black, but these are perfect if I'm going out, the weather is bad and need a more "dressy" look. They're super durable and perfect for travel. As mentioned in previous reviews they do run a little big. I'm fine with this though because I wear super thick socks almost always. Everyone needs a pair of these boots!

Bought these for my daughter in preparation for college next year. She loves them! She said they are very comfy and quite warm. I think they will last her through college and beyond. Very well made boots.

I've been looking for a pair of rain boots/cold weather boot that would fit the lifestyle in GA! These were it and so glad I spent the extra dollars for them! I was hesitant at first because I was thinking it might be too warm for winter time given the winters in GA aren't that cold! Anyway, these were the best fit! I ordered a size down because of reviews and it fit just perfect. They are comfortable! One of the most comfortable shoes I have and it is hard to find comfortable shoes because I wear bigger sizes & mostly wide. They didn't need to be broken in! They do not squeak when they're wet. I wear regular socks (fits great and room if thicker socks ever is needed)! Love the look of it as well!

I wore them to Churchill CA where temperatures were 31 below zero and my feet weren't ever cold! Thanks

I typically wear a size 9.5 or 10, and wound up ordering a size 9. It fits perfectly, especially when wearing a lighter weight sock. It's a bit snug with a super heavy wool sock, but I think a size 10 would've been much too large. Compared to other Bean boots I've had, these are so. Ridiculously. Soft. The tumbled leather means there's absolutely no break-in time. Right out of the box, they felt like I've owned them for years. I definitely and highly recommend!

I have big feet. They hurt a lot because of multiple foot and ankle injuries. These injuries mean most footwear do not fit me well. These boots are amazing. I walk our doggos approximately 3 miles on most days, and the support; warmth and traction from these boots means when I get home my feet are... happy. Yes. I have happy feet. Thank you LL Bean. This will NOT be my only footwear purchase! Oh, yes - almost forgot - there is enough room for heavy socks if weather demands. I also find these are pretty easy to get on and off, IMO.

I'm not usually one to leave reviews but thought I would say thank you to LL Bean for such a great boot. The stitching, the quality of leather, the tread and the fit is really spot-on. I can't find a flaw with this boot. They keep me warm and dry, and the fit is perfect (I usually wear an 8 1/2 but bought an 8 after reading other reviews saying they run slightly big). I love the lining, it's comfortable without being too sweaty. I also love that they are made in Maine and not overseas, it's always great to support a local economy when possible. This was my first LL Bean purchase but I'm already looking forward to trying some flannel shirts.

I love these boots! They are so comfortable! The height of the boot is perfect and I can wear them in all kinds of weather.

I've never owned a pair of bean boots before. No regrets on spending the money on boots that keep my feet warm and dry especially when I've gotten frostbite when I was a kid. Now being outside in the cold weather doesn't hurt my feet. Thank you ll bean!

I have wanted some bean boots for years. I ordered two other brands before these and sent them back. I'm a wide 8.5 normally and after reading all 76 reviews I ordered a 7 and 8 to be safe. The 7 was too tight on my right foot (always my bigger foot) and pretty snug on my left. The 8 fits perfectly, room for thick socks when needed and room for air circulation for more warmth. These boots are incredibly comfortable right out of the box. I have friends with the regular upper and they said they've had them For years and they still aren't super comfortable. I've had these three days and I never want to take them off. I was outside for hours in 30* weather yesterday and my feet were perfectly warm! Warm, dry, super comfortable and SO cute! I am recommending this boot to everyone I know!! And I'm getting compliments left and right. You will not be disappointed!

I've eyed these boots for over a year and finally jumped in and got them. I was unsure about sizing as I tend to have slightly wide feet and can be in between sizes. I typically wear an 8 and listened to multiple reviews and ordered the 7. When the boots arrived they fit good, but slight tightness where the stitching was between the rubber and leather. After wearing the boots with socks they have stretched and broken in. The leather is soft and amazing! Highly recommend bean boots!

Bought them for shoveling snow. No snow yet.

So side and comfy. Not too tight around my thick ankles(I was worried about that the most). JUST. PERFECT.

I have wanted these boots forever! I finally decided to get them and they are so worth it! I went a size down and it fits perfectly! Spent all day at work in them and not once did I regret wearing them!

I live in Chicago, and these boots will be a life-saver when it's wet but not too cold. I chose the tumbled leather because my feet are pretty delicate and I figured the break-in process would be easier; so far so good! By the second day of wearing them, I was able to walk for five miles without discomfort. Usually I wear an 8, but I sized down to a 7 and am pleased with my decision. They won't accommodate my thickest socks, but if it's that cold I'm going to wear winter boots anyway. I can't recommend this boot enough!

I absolutely love my L.L. Bean Boots, they are very comfortable and the chamois lining keeps my feet very warm!! I usually wear a woman's size 11, but the salesperson persuaded me to try the 10, and they fit perfect!!

I feel very comfortable in my boots, they are warm, and I can move my toes so the fit is really good.

I purchased the 8" tumbled leather chamois lined limited edition women's boots after seeing them in a television ad. I read the reviews that suggested ordering one size down. I ordered one size down and they are a perfect fit! The boots are comfortable and very stylish. They have a nice slim profile; not big and bulky like most boots. They are of top quality and I'm very happy with my purchase.

I had sized my Bean Boots for light to mid weight socks, but, they feel just a bit wide. Length is fine. Going to try with a heavier sock and think they will be great! Very comfortable as compared to my similar styled Sporto boots. I need to give a shout out to Rachel, my boot maker! Great job, but, I'm sure you hear that often! Absolutely would recommend these boots to those looking for a new pair.

I normally wear a size 8 but after reading the review, I decided to order a size 7 and I LOVE them. They are so comfortable and warm. My daughter also bought a pair and she wears hers all the time.

This is my second pair of Bean Boots and I only had to buy another one because I needed to get a larger size. These are perfect for everyday socks as well as thicker socks in the winter.

I exchanged these because the 7 was too big, but I love these boots. They are a great fall purchase because they offer warmth from the Chamois lining but they are not overwhelmingly warm to where your feet can't breathe. The tumbled leather make them very flexible and comfortable right away without much breaking in. They are a rugged product which is great because you never know what to expect in New England in terms of weather. Rain, snow, cold, mud - nothing really breaks them.

They fit well and they are comfort. I will probably get a 9 next time.

Comfortable, and surprisingly (after all the comments about ordering down a size) the length was just fine. I will wear with heavy socks, so it is great. I look forward to many years of wear.
