I waffled on whether I should spend the money on these boots for YEARS before finally pulling the trigger. The way I figure, these guys will last me years. I've only been able to wear them a couple of times so far but I love them. I did size down a size after reading reviews and they're still a little big but with thick socks they'd be perfect. They're so great for keeping your feet dry on a chilly drizzly fall day. I could've spent less for others, but I always would've been wishing I'd have gotten these, so there it is.

Cozy and warm. True to size. No breaking in needed.

Can't wait for the cooler weather to start wearing my new boots! Perfect for chilly fall days and slushy sidewalks in winter! I normally wear a size 8 or 8.5, went with the 7 and have room for thick socks. Love the soft leather and the flannel lining. Highly recommend!

It took me forever to decide on purchasing these boots. I'm glad I did! They are so comfortable and are great especially on a cold rainy day like today working outside in the yard. They do run big. I typically wear a 10 but the 9 fit perfect. I hope to have these for many years! I absolutely love them! Thank you L.L.Bean!

I am really happy with these boots. Despite recommendations to do otherwise, I first ordered my normal size (7 B) and they were a little big. Not sloppy, and were comfortable to walk, in but I wanted to compare so I ordered a 6. The six was definitely the right size, even with a pair of wool socks. They actually fit like all my other boots/shoes that are size 7. There was no break in period. The tumbled leather is soft and pliable. Today is my first day of wearing them and they are really, really comfortable. No rubbing or binding anywhere. Bottom line, just as I had hoped they would be! And, I would suggest ordering a size down.

I absolutely love my boots. They are my first pair choice to go to. They are so comfortable. I wear thick socks for the cold weather. My feet are always warm in the winter snowy days. I took them with me when I went to play in the snow with my kids, They were so comfortable. I went sledding with them and my feet stayed warm. I went apple picking last fall and they were very good for my feet when walking around the farm. I wished i had them when i used to teach. You will never regret spending the money for them.

What is there to say other than I'm beyond happy! Great for the winter & fall. This is my second purchase and I'm just impressed with the quality.

This is a nice pair of boots at a good price. They are a little larger than the size and will work well with thick socks.

I am well pleased with my new Bean Boots. I ordered my normal size 8 and they fit well right out of the box. They are comfortable and don't need any breaking in. I am glad to have them since it is so cold and wet here this month with snow, sleet and freezing rain. Wore them out in the cold and my feet felt comfy.

Warm, comfy, easy to walk in and wear all day long. Wear an 8 1/2, ordered a size 8 based on what others said. Fit is just right. So far, great in the rain and slush.

My granddaughter picked these out for her birthday present. And she absolutely loves them. The size was good she said they were comfortable. Would recommend.

These are my favorite boots of all. Growing up my whole family owned a pair and still do today. Boots are very comfortable and perfect for the rainy day. The liner provides extra warmth. I ordered a size down. I'm usually a size 10 in a boot but ordered a size 9 which was perfect. I wear a 9 1/2 shoe size. Even with a heavier sock the size 9 fits perfectly.

I usaually wear a size 7 in shoes and after reading reviews I ordered a 6 and they fit perfect.

Been doing a lot of winter hiking, and realized that my Bean boots were 11 years old! I replaced them with these, and it was a huge step up. Love the flannel inside for coziness, and these were amazing at keeping my feet warm and dry even through some big puddles and crossing a shallow stream. I went down a half size from my normal shoe size, and that was just right.

These are QUALITY boots for sure! My only issue is that when I ordered (over phone) I told them I had hammer toes and needed a good amount of depth in the toe box. These do not work well for me because the toe box is not high enough.....maybe I should have bought men's size? Don't know.....disappointing because I think the quality is very good.

So glad I finally bought these boots. Waterproof, warm and footwear I can wear all day long. Whether shoveling snow or walking the dog, these boots fit the bill. My feet stay warm and dry. I usually wear a 7.5 so I ordered a 7. It's a perfect fit!

I purchased these as a gift to my mom for Christmas. She had bought a pair of knockoff duck boots but upon opening these, there was no hesitation that they knockoff pair was going back to where they came from. She loves them and cannot wait to wear them around.

I purchased this boot for outdoor yard work but mainly for dog walking on cold winter mornings. It does run at least a half a size bigger than normal but does have a good arch support. I just wear a pair of heavy boot socks and their great. Even in snow my feet have not gotten wet! I like that!

I have worn the short LL Bean short boots for years and loved them! I finally took the plunge for the 8 inch LL Bean boots! Love them and wear them all the time! Highly recommend them, heck anything from LL Bean....you won't be disappointed!

I love the winter and was looking for something more stylish than my hiking boots so I finally decided to get my first pair of bean boots and they do not disappoint! They are so comfortable and look great too! I've worn them in the woods and around town. Heads up I am a true 9 but decided to go with an 8 in these as even with thick socks the 9 felt too big.

I LOVE these boots. I had tried the Bean Thinsulate boots that my young adult kids wear, but the one-piece leather tongue bothered me. I finally tried the chamois-lined ones, because the tongue is separate and a softer leather. They are really comfortable - they needed no breaking in, and I have been wearing them for full days of running errands in the rain. I don't know how warm they'll be in super cold weather yet, but so far in early winter weather my feet have stayed warm and dry! I wear a size 10 dress shoes and size 11 sneaker, and tried both size 10 and 11 in this boot and went with size 11 - did not have to size down like my kids did with the Thinsulate boots.

Wow, I sized down a size as recommended. I usually wear a women's 9 and ordered an 8 and they fit like a glove even with a warm sock. No break in they were super comfy, so much so that I have worn them every day I go out for weeks. I ordered Sorels years ago with a removal liner and have worn them twice they are so cumbersome, heavy and awkward. The Bean boots feel like I've had them for years right out of the box. Nicely done
