I absolutely love these boots. They are perfect for when its rainy and muddy outside, but also stylish enough to wear with a pair of jeans. Great quality boot.

I have always wanted a pair and they have absolutely lived up to the hype! I have worn them in rain, snow, a cold night, a warm afternoon! They go with everything and the gum sole gives me peace of mind in slick conditions. Definitely recommend getting these if you are on the fence!

These boots are great, they keep my feet warm and are stable on ice. I'm really glad i went down a size, as recommended. I usually wear an 8, ordered a 7 and they fit perfect with wool socks

They were a Christmas gift. My granddaughter said they were super warm and comfortable. She went sledding with friends and stayed dry and happy! She loves them.

A few features of note: They run large. I am typically a size 6 and these are loose. I can easily wear 2 pairs of thick socks. The lower (rubber area) is NOT insulated on the interior. The upper is a soft tumbled leather and the tongue separates from the boot (this can allow snow to get inside easier), unlike the traditional Bean Boots which have an attached tongue and are stiffer in the ankle. The flannel lining gives light insulation in the upper. If you want insulation around your toes, go with the original boot. Be aware the sizing differs. The equivalent size in the original for me is a size 4 kids. It has a snugger fit due to the insulation. I'd say these boots are best for a moderately chilly fall day or quick errands in winter. They're not a heavy duty winter boot that will keep you warm in heavy snow.

Bought this for my sister and she wears them almost everyday. In mud and in snow. She loves them and says they are comfortable

These boots rock! Purchased for our daughter for a gift, the leather uppers are buttery soft and comfortable around the ankle/ lower leg and with that outstanding shoe/sole waterproof protection, these are great for cold-rainy-messy stomping around. Living in South FL, these will get fashion use with jeans, helping out at the animal sanctuary and wintry trips up north. Personally I've only owned 2 prs of LL Bean duck shoes all these years due to their durability and longevity. Sure these boots will provide years of comfortable service to her like my duck shoes have me.

They were a gift for my 16 year old granddaughter & she lives them!

So, I always take a size 10 in women's shoes/boots/sneakers, you name it. After reading the reviews and watching tons of YouTube videos, I ordered one size down and crossed my fingers. Well, they fit perfectly with a nice thick pair of socks. My feet are on the narrow side of medium and with thickish (is that a word?) socks the boots fit fine. I wore them out yesterday for a day of consignment shopping in the not-so-nice weather, and my feet were toasty warm and comfortable all day long. I ordered the pebbled leather boots because I just think they look like they'll hold up a bit better than the smooth leather. I think these are a limited-edition with the chamois inside and that was another reason I got this pair. I wanted a bit more warmth without the bulk of a thick lining. Thanks L.L. Bean for keeping up your tradition of building your boots in Maine. That's another reason I chose these boots over other brands. That and the fact that the basic pattern for these boots remains the same after 100 years, so there must be a reason. Why mess with perfection, right?

The sizes run big but i'm not disappointed because with the right socks they are perfect. The quality is beyond amazing and worth the price.

It felt like cheating, buying a pair of boots that would take the place of my original boots from 1986. Warmer with a nice arch support. Fit well, no break in time. My old boots will have to get over it. (Still getting those resoled tho!)
