My wife ordered these on my account. She loved the look and feel so much.. until they leaked water inside on her second week of wearing them. The bottom of her socks would get soaked and there was this squishing sound with every step. She's worn them in about 2-in deep snow and some light (not even pouring) rain. Considering all the great reviews of it being waterproof and all, maybe we got a defective one? She's pretty disappointed.

First off, the sizing really is strange: I am a 10-10.5, purchased a size 9 and they fit amazingly! Definitely follow their guidelines on sizing. Second, comfort: these are SO comfortable. I wear them to walk my dog 2-4 miles with zero pain or discomfort. I definitely could walk longer in them. Third, the quality is also amazing. I know these will last me forever. I took off 2 stars because they weren't really the style I was looking for. I got the "tumbled leather" over the original thinking the softer leather would bring the look of the boots up a notch in style. However, the soft leather kind of "falls" and piles up around where the leather meets the rubber and makes the boot look messy. The leather doesn't hold itself up like in the original (or the picture of this boot). If you're ok with that (or if that's what you're going for), then these boots really are amazing. I wanted a more polished style for walking around the city and unfortunately, this is not that.

I purchased these in a 7 because that's what size I wear in other bean boots. They were far too small, and when I called to exchange, the rep told me they just got another shipment and I'd get them in a week. A couple weeks passed, I called, and they said they don't even HAVE these boots anymore and I was SOL. My order was sitting there in limbo, having been told I'd receive them, when that wasn't the case. Not pleased.

I have always wanted a pair of Bean Boots and finally splurged after Christmas. I have to say I am disappointed. They are really not comfortable at all. Maybe if they "break in" after a while but initially I do not enjoy wearing them.

Not really sure why people love these boots so much. I was so excited to get my first pair and then disappointed after one wear. There is zero support and unless I wear super thick sock, my feet slide everywhere. They also don't keep your feet warm and the "water resistant" description is pushing it a bit. So, other than running a quick errand (or trying to be fashionable), I wouldn't recommend. Sorry.

In need of more padding for the foot. Returned the product

I ordered these as a size 8 as I have the bean boots that are lined with gore-Tex in the same size.Upon arrival I immediately tried them on as my expectations were high. The size was off. I ordered an eight and I swear I could fit at least a foot and and a half in these. When I put the boot on I was so upset, the shoe was uncomfortable and the rubber bottom felt immediately uncomfortable. Unfortunately these had to go back. I had such high expectations as I love my lined gortex boots. These were more on the stilish side and was so excited for fashionable wear. If you order these make sure you order down at least one size.
