I absolutely love these shoes however I should of ordered a size smaller like the standard LLBean boots. I got my normal shoe size and they were way too big.

They run big so be sure to size down! Very cute and comfy.

Im not happy with the laces as they are hard to tie as they are so stiff. Im sure time will fix it.

pretty good fit and comfort the first time wearing them.

These boots keep my feet dry in rain and snow, the inside section around the ankle is comfortable, and they are not heavy to lift. Be sure to wear thick socks for maximum comfort. Overall, a great value!

Great boots but a tad wide. This style didn't come in narrow

I love the boots, but I think I should have went down a size instead of up. They are a little big on my feet.

Ok, I love the boots but they started fading in a couple spots within 3 weeks. The manager said that's normal and they are supposed to get that look but I don't think that boots should fade that fast. I ordered the boot protector to try that out and see if the color comes back. We'll see!

I love my boots, but I wish the lining was down to the foot bed instead of ending where the leather meets the foot area.

If you have a high arch, the boot has little arch support, but is also sewn too low on the top of the arch. This makes it a bit tight when you put your boot on. My daughter loves them, and said after several months of wearing, they do tend to stretch out and don't rub so much. But initially it can be uncomfortable.

Requires a break in period, but I love them!!

I love how comfortable these boots are. They are waterproof and great for days when it is wet or snowy but not snowy enough to need a heavy snow boot. Only complaint I have is that I wish LL Bean did half sizes. I am typically an 8 to 8.5. I originally ordered an 8 and they were WAY too big. I went down to a 7 which fit better but are still a little big and slide at the heel even with thick socks. If I go down to a 6 I am afraid they would be too snug. I think a 6.5 would have been perfect. I kept the size 7, just going to deal with them being a bit roomy. Super comfortable and cute though. Love them!

This is a really great boot. Fit is perfect and very comfortable. For me though it was a dissapointment. I have 8" unlined bean boot that I hve had for years but I wanted something warmer for winter. Even with the rag wool socks I use I'm not finding these any warmer ..Great boot, just not an upgrade.

I tried these in both a 9 and an 8. I'm normally a size 9 but the 9 felt too long and wide, even with two pairs of socks. It also slightly rubbed the back of my heel. The 8 was great width wise but was too short as my toe hit the end of the boot. The tumbled leather was gorgeous and they were well made, just not for me.

The classic duck boot is a great quality boot. I read all of the reviews and they said they were true to size but wear thicker socks! I purchased the "Cotton Ragg Camp Socks" but with those alone, the boot is still pretty loose. I didn't want to deal with the hassle of returning the boot for a size down so I just double up on socks and they fit much better! Overall I do really like them but wish I sized down.

I really like these boots. They are good quality and fairly comfortable. They are a bit larger than I would like - I fit in them very comfortably with extra space even with two thick pairs of socks on. I haven't used them too much yet but so far so good.

I wear a size 10. I wished I got this boot in a 9, I have put a insert in to try and take up some space. They are super cute, haven't dealt with much rain or snow just yet. Will update once I have!!

I love these boots! Purchased the chamois lined boots, they keep my feet very warm and dry. I really needed something from tromping around in the woods in the fall. They are also great for rainy weather. I can't believe I did not have these sooner. The fit is good even with thicker socks. I went down a size as recommended. Normally wear 8-8 1/2 and ordered a 7.

I'm a solid 8 1/2 wide normally. I ordered a 9 m and they're huge. My toe is 2" from the end. Everything I read said they ran small And to size up. I completely disagree. On a positive I love the boot, especially the look of the tumbled leather. Just too big.

I'm giving a rating of 4 stars instead of 5 only because I haven't had a chance to wear my new boots yet. I'm sure after the first snowfall, they will earn their 5 stars. They look great and the construction and fit are perfect (I range from 9 to 9-1/2, slightly wider width). My last pair of L.L. Bean boots lasted 30 years - the soles finally wore out! So I have faith my new pair will serve me well for many years.

Let me start this review by saying I really don't need these boots given I have the Mocs, a 6 inch pair, and a shearling lined pair, but these are so classic and attractive that I had to keep them. The outer leather is softer and better quality than the classic boots and the tongue is detached making for easier on/off. The grommets around the laces are polished gold which adds an extra pretty touch. The tongue IMO does not look as cute folded over like the shearling ones, but the plaid lining will still peak out if you don't lace all the way and then sizing is closer to a true bean boot size but a tiny bit smaller (I did this by comparing the bottom foot bed and the length of the removable liner) hope that info helps!

Received these beautiful boots last week, and although I love them, they are a full size too large. Unfortunately, the size I need is now backordered for another month. Sadly, will be returning...

I loved the look of the boot until it was on my foot. The material seemed to sage or wrinkle. I wish they made this boot with the flannel inside but 6 inch.

Sadly, the boot is too small and the boot is a limited edition so we cannot replace it. We were told to order smaller than you normally wear. :( :( I gave it 3 stars only because of the sizing.
