What can you say about the classic bean boot that hasn't already been said? This is my second pair in 20+ years. My first pair lasted over 15 years. Finally broke down and bought another pair. They are the best boots I have ever owned. Comfortable, stylish ( so many compliments!), waterproof, and perfect for New England weather. Don't waste your money on a cheaper version. These boots are worth every penny. No one beats LL Bean for reliability and value.

I love these boots so much! Living in Maine in the fall, you never know what type of weather you're going to get but these boots are ready for anything. I use them for hikes, dog walks and just everyday wear. The chamois lining makes them soft and stylish. The best part is you don't even have to break them in they're comfortable from the first wear.

I've had bean boots before, but I love how comfortable the flannel and tumbled leather are on these! I am usually an 8, 8 , but knew that my size in bean boots is a 7 -- definitely size down if you haven't had them before! They are comfortable, perfect for the Seattle drizzle, and totally a classic-works-with-everything style.

Love these boots, I've had my eyes on them for a while and can tell they will be a staple in my wardrobe for a long time. Very comfortable and waterproof and cozy warm!

I normally wear a 7 but read prior reviews and tried on a 6 and it fit perfectly! These are just perfect for wet and cool fall mornings walking the dog!

Bought these for my wife as a 3rd year anniversary gift. I just got out of the Marines and we moved back to the northeast so we were in need of winter boots. We ordered a 9 at first since she usually wears an 8 1/2 but they were much too big. So we returned them for an 8 and they are great! They look good and she loves wearing them. They're warm, waterproof, and will hopefully last at least a few years!

I love the classic bean boot! These are my fall and winter go to's! These do there job well in the cold and muddy winters that NC can have. I would love if L.L. Bean would make these in the apple cinnamon material. That plaid is perfect for the fall and would look great in the women's boot.

I haven't worn these boots yet, but I am a size 10 normally. I received them and they were much too big, even with a heavy sock. I exchanged them for a 9 (these boots don't do half sizes), and they fit much better! The helpful employees at the store said all of my LL bean boots would be a size 9, from here on.

My daughter talked me into purchasing these boots. She has a pair and loves them. I normally wear a size 7, but purchased a 6 because I read they ran big. They fit perfectly. They are very comfortable and warm. They were out of stock online but had one pair in their Columbus store. I called the store and the sales woman there was so nice. She shipped them that afternoon, and I received them 2 days later. Great customer service! Great boots,

Despite the fact that I will still hold on tight to my 2nd pair of Bean Boots in my 58 years bc they are so broken in, these new ones are pretty great. Soft and warm.

These boots I have been wanting for a while. The color and style I love. They feel great but a size too big. I am a wide foot and I didn't fill in the boot that much as I thought. I am waiting for a size 7 so I can exchange it. I tried a thick sock but it looks and feels too big. Ove all a nice boot. Love the darker broken feel of the leather. I keep checking the website to see if anyone returned a size 7 or if more are in-stock.

I got a 6 and usually wear a 6.5. They fit great. I can also wear thick/wool socks with them. Very comfortable and warm!

I have ALWAYS wanted a pair of the traditional "Bean Boots" and finally bought them. I wish they had the 6" Bean boots in size 6, the 8" is a little taller than I would like; the 6" is a more traditional boot height. I am a garden variety, off-the-shelf size 6.5, and these are a 6 - they are still a little big, but not enough to cry about. The leather uppers and stitching are everything LL Bean is famous for and they do have a true "hand made craftsmanship" feel to them. They are comfortable, but feel a little clunky -- I will get used to it.

I normally wear a 6.5 wide shoe. It was recommended that I order a size up, which didn't work for me because they were too big and too wide. I returned the 7 and got a 6. My boots fit perfectly!!! I'm very picky when it comes to shoes because of a neuroma that I have on my left foot. Last week I took a 7 day European vacation and took 3 pair of "comfortable" walking shoes. My LL Bean Boots were the ONLY pair of shoes that didn't bug my foot. Hence, they're the only shoes that I ended up wearing the whole week. I love them! The leather is soft, they're comfortable and gorgeous! I highly recommend LL Bean!!!

I just moved back to MN and needed boots. I was looking at a number of different ones, and am so glad that I went with these. They are comfortable, warm, and they look great!

I purchased these boots to wear to a Patriots football game in the end of November. It was a cold and VERY rainy game but my feet stayed warm and dry! My husband had also purchased a pair of boots from another company that claimed they were waterproof ... we ended up buying him new socks before the game even started. I ordered a half-size up based on reviews and the boots fit comfortably with thick socks. Very happy with my purchase!

I love the boots. My only regret was that a few days after I bought them I was sent an email for 25% off anything on the site. They fit perfectly and very comfortable!

These boots are like walking on air. They're so comfortable. I already have the black toe/brown from last season, and my husband has a pair that are identical to these. Beautiful quality, wonderful fit (I ordered down a size as I always do when buying this classic boot type with the chain tread sole). They are even roomy with a fairly heavy sock. Love them!

I've been wanting these boots for the past 3 years..when llbean had their 25 percent off I decided to go for it, I'm definitely not disappointed:) In ALL my shoes I'm a true 8.5. I was worried as I read these boots run large. With the help of Customer Service I went with the 8. They are a bit loose but since I'm wearing them in Fall/Winter with a heavier sock they work perfectly. Super cute with tights or skinny jeans...the best part though is the cozy flannel!!
