The perfect bean boot! I originally ordered another LLBean bean boot, one with more flair, but I ended up replacing it for this one because you can't just go wrong with the classic. I live in Texas and have wanted these for years, but felt a little silly. Well it's getting colder here in recent winters, and I have toddlers to chase around outside all year round, so I finally gave in and splurged. No regrets.

These boots run big. I wear a woman's 8. I had to send them back for a size 7.

These boots fit great and keep your feet warm and dry.

Love my boots! They keep my feet warm and dry through rain and mud. I wear a size 6.5 normally, so I got the size 6. I'm glad I did. They fit perfectly with my thicker socks. They are easy to get on and off. Couldn't be happier. They are well made and exactly as advertised.

I live in Florida. I don't buy boots. We're going where is cold and wet soon, so I splurged. I've worn them a few times, believe it or not,and they're sooooooo comfortable. Without socks even! You should buy them.

I purchased these boots not expecting to love them as much as I do. I'm incredibly happy with my decision to finally buy a pair. I've been circling the idea for years and then was enticed recently. So glad I did. Perfect for walking the dog on crisp cold days and can handle all weather and cute. Much more comfortable and stable than I expected. I'm a huge llbean boot fan for life!

Our favorite walking boot for wet grass, streams, mud and partial paved roads. Fishing and camping too! Nice soft heel shock! There's a lot of options to choose from...eg. lining, insulation, height! We use hiking boots for longer hikes and rough terrain!( llbeans Cresta Gortex Hiking boots) Sizing was directed in description and was accurate! My wife and I have several pair of BeanBoots, they last for years! Thanks LLBean for a dependable quality product made in USA!

Beautiful boots and so comfortable. You can tell they are made out of quality material. I have tried getting duck boots from other companies for cheaper prices and have never been satisfied with the poor grip or uncomfortable faux leather, so I finally decided to get myself a pair of the real LL bean boots. 100% worth it. I wish I hadn't wasted all that money on the cheaper versions. The leather is soft and comfortable, nice grip on the bottom for our icy Pennsylvania winters, and stylish looking. If you're on the fence about buying a pair, I would say go for it. You won't regret it.

I've had these boots for a few years now and they continue to be the most comfortable boot for me for rain and light snow. The soft tumbled leather molds better to my foot and ankle. For this pair, the tongue is not sewn into the boot - which is really helpful for those with high arches or past ankle injuries where pointing your foot is a problem. I can wear a thin or medium weight sock depending on the temperature and both will work. I went to the store in Boston and got custom laces made too! Thanks so much for a great boot. Please make more of this style with other colors for the chamois-lining! I've tried other bean boot styles recently and they aren't as comfortable as this one. I wear a size 7.5-8 in sneakers and a 7 in the bean boot works for me.

These boots are so comfortable. I never owned a pair before but I decided to buy them as a winter dog walking boot. They're perfect.

Great boot! The height is perfect. Cute with skinny jeans or leggings but look fabulous under bootcut jeans, too. The leather feels soft but durable. The boot size is pleasantly as expected with enough room for a heavy sock. I would buy them again in a heartbeat!

Love these boots! They definitely run large. I normally wear a size 7. I bought a size 6 as well as the insert and then they fit perfect.

LL BEAN CHAMOIS-LINED 8" BOOTS: BEAUTIFUL, DURABLE, Tumbled leather upper is SOFT and LOVELY! SUPER EXCELLENT HIGH QUALITY BOOTS - VERY PRETTY AND VERY PRACTICAL TOO! DURABILITY: Excellent - we have horses and land with rugged rocky mountain terrain. I wear Bean boots 365 days of year! YES every single day! Surprisingly durable! WATERPROOF: Completely waterproof in wet winter storms! Horse corrale is very sloppy wet and muddy in rainstorms. Horses happy in barn, but mucking uncovered corrale is a huge job in the rain. ALL goes well in these WATERPROOF Bean boots! I rinse with tap water after mucking corrale - color stays very beautiful with repeated wear. No loss of color! SOFT: The tumbled leather uppers are VERY SOFT and function well with a good sock too. SIZING: I am 8.5 in regular shoes. My Bean boots are ALWAYS SIZE 9 as I prefer the medium weight Cresta Wool 1/4 sock inside. I only buy Bean boots with tumbled leather uppers. Bean boots with tumbled leather uppers (and the 8" flannel lined boot) fit a little smaller than the 6" hard leather Bean boots. I cannot wear the regular hard leather Bean boots - tried but leather is way too stiff). These BEAUTIFUL CHAMOIS-LINED BEAN BOOTS (NOTE: SOFT tumbled leather upper is chamois-lined, not the rubber boot area) are a SIZE 9 and are perfect so that I have room for good sock and roomy comfort. Not healthy to have snug shoes! Need wiggle room for healthy feet! SUMMER HEAT: Yes I wear these Bean boots in scorching Summer heat too! Bean boots protect my feet from rocky terrain and occasional rattlesnakes too. SUMMARY: This Chamois-Lined Bean (with the flannel lining in upper only) is a VERY FLEXIBLE 8" Bean boot and has a SOFT, LOVELY tumbled leather upper! Very comfortable yet BOTH SOFT and VERY DURABLE and yes VERY PRETTY TOO! Wear all year 365 days here! 8.5 sizes advise size UP to size 9 with medium thick wool sock. I do not size down on tumbled leather upper Bean boots.

I'm so happy with my purchase!! I'm typically a 7 1/2- 8 in most shoes but fit comfortably in a 7 even with a thick pair of socks.I would definitely recommend these boots to all my friends!

I was looking for boots I can use winter and spring.I did find them! Excellent quality . I am 9.5 regular size.I ordered 9 M and they good size with midweigh socks

Not sure why I waited so long to order these but I am very happy that I did. These boots are much lighter in weight and yet they keep your feet dry & warm.

Perfect boot for rain, snow, mud or whatever Mother Nature throws your way.
