I hate change, but sometimes you can't avoid it! I have purchased a few pairs of hiking boots before from LL Bean, I've always loved them. But I dread having to get new ones, in case they're not as comfortable as the last pair. Well, true to LL Bean quality, these are just as awesome as my last pair! Hardly needed to break them in and feel great. I feel very stylish for what they are and look great.

These hikers are extremely comfortable, and easy to get on and off. They fit very well; I wear a size 8 in regular shoes, but got these in 8-1/2 to accommodate thicker socks. My feet have enough room, but are not moving around in them so I can safely run and climb rocks. I have worn these in rain, streams and snow and my feet have been dry and warm all the time. These are the best hikers I've ever worn!

Toasty warm and very comfortable. I needed a little extra ankle support and these fit the bill. Pretty good traction in slippery areas and they are not heavy. The similar woman's model was sold out in wide. After talking to the super nice Rep (Pam) at Bean I decided to try these and I am very happy with my new hikers.

I bought these for winter, not hiking, but I really like them. They are very comfortable and fit perfectly. We have had a very mild winter in MA, but I wear them when it is cold and they are great for walking anywhere. The one day I wore them in the snow, they kept my feet dry. They are definitely waterproof! I highly recommend them!

I really like these boots. They're nice looking and a good, comfortable fit. Overall. I do feel I have to break them in a bit, not used to high, ankle boots. I have to say, only worn them a few times, inside at that to break them in, the shoelace is beginning to weaken in a spot. Only a matter of time, it'll break. Was surprised. However, I like them, a good sturdy boot, expect them to last a long time. A good value.

Great support and comfort..Find I need more support while walking instead of fancy looks..these boots have great looks too.bought one pair and was impressed..so ordered another pair right off..different color..

Fits well, but a little stiff around the ankle and upper laces. Break'em in!

As usual the LLBean hiking boots are good quality, but why round laces? I wore these boots for three hours and in those three hours I had to retie them at least six times. I tried a normal tie, a double tie, a loose tie, a tight tie. Nothing worked. Within a few minutes they were loose. Lucky there are places that sell you flat laces. The rest of the boots were the usual good quality I expect from LLBean, but the laces are useless. I'd recommend the product only if you're willing to spend a few extra bucks for some tieable laces.

First few days caused blisters on back of herlels will "breaking them in" , other wise good.

Nice hiking boots. Just what I wanted. Fit and style are great. Can't wait to wear them more.

Great boots! The only reason I gave them 4 stars is because they run a bit small. I usually wear a women's size 10 but when I got them my toes were hitting the front. I returned them and got a size 11 and the replacement fit perfectly. Width was fine on both pairs.

These are very comfy and trail-worthy hikers! But they had to become so. The ankle portion really was tight and stiff at first but sticking a square suet cakes in each of the boots to stretch and loosen (for about 2-3 days) they were great! I also don't tie them super tight.

These boots fit true to size. Wide width is roomy and comfortable. My first hike in them was over seven miles on rocky mountainous terrain and they broke in very comfortably.

Really like this boot. Would have done 5 stars if it was a bit lighter in weight. However look, fit, comfort and cushioning definitely is 5 stars!

I broke them in wearing them around house. I've hiked twice and so far the boots are comfortable, except for the upper ankle area, that tends to chafe a little.

Most aspects are great: great grip and dry feet in wet weather - but they are taking a long time to break in as they are very stiff and uncomfortable around the ankles. I know they will loosen with wear, but is taking longer than I would expect.

Nice boots the size was right for me usually take a 9 1/2 I sized up to 10 the right boot rubs my middle toe, but that just might be me. They are higher on your ankle. Giving more support. I haven't had them very long Hopefully they will work.

I am a man, but have a narrow foot so this B woman's boot fit nicely. Color is pleasant.

Love the way they look. Excellent quality. Unfortunately, they are not wide. Reading reviews, I ordered a half size up, and they still are way too narrow. I tried to make them work. A couple times I had to take them off because of the pain on the top of my foot. If you have narrow feet, these are great boots. If you have wide feet or a high instep, these aren't for you.

I ordered these online. I ordered a wide size 8 and found it to be too narrow. I love the boots but I don't think they would work for me so I returned them. I frequently have this experience shopping for shoes. Most are too narrow, so I really wasn't surprised. As often is the case, one man's wide is another man's not wide enough. I'm sure these are fantastic boots for someone with a not so wide foot.

They fit good and have good suport. The ankle area rubs a little but I have super skinny heals so that might be why.
