Very comfortable; fit well

These are my favorite boots! Comfy, warm, and sturdy.

Boots are comfortable and good quality. The wide width is great,it's hard to find wide in some boots. The fact that the boots are waterproof is a plus. I am never disappointed in my purchases from LL Bean.

The fit is good and comfortable. I would say that if you are a half size - choose a size up. The shoe is very nice looking and I am very happy with the purchase.

Women's Boots, these Hiking Boots are wonderful... sturdy, comfortable. My husband and I hiked Mt. Major over looking Lake Winnipesaukee in October, approximately almost 2 hours up to the top, very very comfortable.

I bought these shoes for hiking, they have incredibly good ankle support and tread. I also wore them in the rain and my feet were completely dry. They are a bit heavy, so not the best to pack for a trip, but I'll take a few more ounces to have dry feet and good ankle support.

These boots are very comfortable and support my feet and ankles very well! I love these boots! I live in NW Arkansas, in the Ozarks and these are perfect for hiking here.

Excellent everyday winter boot. Warm but not too heavy.

I bought these as a present for my 69 yr.old mom, but bought mine 5+ years ago. She is still skeptical of the LLBean return policy and lifetime warranty; which is funny to our family who knows how awesome LLBean is! They are great for hiking, she wanted something for our new house which has 4 acres of woods and includes a small stream. She was tickled pink. Can't wait to have her try them out;expecting 5 plus inches of snow later today.

I work outside so I'm always looking for waterproof boots. So far I've walked through 2 days of heavy rain and my feet have stayed dry. I always buy a 1/2 size larger to accommodate additional inserts . The width is good and they are very comfortable and light weight.

I read the reviews, I ordered the boots. Since my feet grew(it happens when you get older), I outgrew my beloved LL Bean hiking boots. My new pair are sooo comfortable. No break-in time needed. Love the color!

They are well constructed and so far have kept my feet dry when hiking in the rain. I would recommend this boot to anyone.

I was very please with the fit of these. Their customer service personal assistance with me picking out what was best for my region and my knowledge of hiking - Only issue I had was the area around my the top of the boot rubbing my leg - just need to break them in..

These boots rock! Got them for my wife for Christmas, they fit perfect, true to size and are comfortable and she absolutely loves them.

I got these for Christmas but I have worn them a few times with receiving them, and they have great support to the ankles! The tread is also great. As I am a frequent hiker, I look forward to using these!

I bought these boots because I had planned a trip that required 3 8-hour days of walking (flat terrain - not hiking), with the potential of wet/muddy ground. I wore them around the house first to see if they needed any break-in for a few weeks prior to my trip. At first, I found the high-ankles a bit uncomfortable -- but realizing that it was really because I had never worn any boots with high-ankles. The area that I was to be going on my trip did have the possibility of snakes and a few inches higher than most boots might be a little helpful. Plus, I do have weak ankles and have sprained and broken my ankle just from stepping on uneven surfaces - so high-ankles were also a requirement. But after a few days using these boots around the house, I didn't even 'feel' the high-ankles any more (I did wear thick high socks for those few days which helped with getting over the high-ankle feel). Essentially, there was no break-in period for these boots! By the time the trip came, the boots were as comfortable to me as any good pair of boots -- I hardly noticed them during my 3-day trip (and no snakes - just a few alligators - lol!). I now wear them just about anytime -- they look really cool too! Online shopping for shoes have always been a challenge for me - sizes always seem to run the gamut. But these boots were spot-on -- not too narrow, not too wide; just perfect.

I bought a pair of Bean waterproof hiking boots for myself last year and really like them. I wanted my 10yo granddaughter to have a similar pair so bought her these. She likes the look and comfort of them. Highly recommended.

Due to several foot problems, my Podiatrist recommended buying a high top hiking boot to wear when at the cabin. Since I need a wide width, I found ordering from LL Bean was the answer to finding a comfortable fit as well as being an affordable boot. I like the style and now look forward to hiking in the woods.

Wore these for 4 days of hiking on Long Trail in Vermont. I have Mortan's Neuroma and need wide boots, these did the trick. I did not have blisters or pain. In many areas I had to go through water, my feet stayed dry. Thanks!

These boots were comfortable right out of the box. I wear size 10 and these were just right. Love them!

I bought the snow sneaker last winter and was blown away by the warmth, quality and lightness. I needed the very same fit, comfort and waterproofing and was guided by customer service to the Trail Model 4. After wearing daily since I received them, I am happy with my purchase. Although not quite as tall as the winter boot, it keeps out debris from weed eating and cleaning horse stalls. I have skinny ankles and am able to tie up tight enough. Stiff the first few days but they left no sore, tender spots on my ankles. I don't even know I have them on. In fact so impressd, I ordered my husband a pair of the men's Trail Model for his birthday.

Thru to size and excellent comfort when worn. Time will tell as to longevity but have not been disappointed with anything from LL Bean

I need orthotics and great support. Finding boots in my size with a wide option is nearly impossible! So grateful for L.L. Bean. Works well and are well made, plus I love L.L. Bean guarantee I am wearing L.L. Bean clogs that are 8 yrs old, I plan on the sneaker/boots lasting the same way.
