After a Summer of lightweight footwear, these hiking boots were a bit of an adjustment for me, but I quickly appreciated having them on my feet. These boots provide good ankle support and are comfortable. I would describe them as "water resistant" more that "waterproof" but I like them a lot. If it is really wet out, I wear my Muck boots!

They are very stable on the trail in the Shawnee's and they support my ankles very well...I love them!

Stylish,sturdy,tough,waterproof, soft cushioning. I am very satisfied and impressed, this tough on the outside and comfortable on inside got tested out of the box for 3 hrs walking. No blisters, no hurting toes, I will recommend this to a friend. Customer service is also great in replacing the other order.

Several people mentioned these shoes bothered their ankle, but I found them to be very comfortable and sturdy hiking shoes. I had ankle surgery so needed shoes that covered my ankles. These fit great, and I walk well in them. I would recommend to make softer insets though as too stiff but I replaced with my foot orthotics.

I have inflammatory and osteoarthritis just about everywhere even my feet. Pain is a part of my life and I deal with it. The minute I put these boots on I knew I had hit the jackpot. Two to three hour hikes are possible now without debilitating pain and next day recovery sessions. I am grateful and extremely happy with my purchase.

These boots are fantastic. They have worked for me on hikes, in the snow, and in the mud. They are waterproof and my feet have never been wet, but breathe enough so that my feet don't sweat (and my feet really sweat!). They are mostly easy to get on/off, my only peeve is that they must be double-knotted otherwise the round laces will come loose fairly quickly. They are comfortable on long walks and very supportive. Living in Southeastern MA, these have been my go-to every time I leave the house.

I still have 3' of snow on the ground, so have only been able to wear them twice. Best light weight boot I've ever had - great fit, extremely comfortable, & good looking to "boot"! Can't wait until spring to really be able to wear them.

I broke my ankle two years ago from an auto accident and had to have another procedure recently and this boot has been a perfect support for my ankle. Thank God. It is made extremely well and it provides the support I need. I love the look as well.

True to fit. It's light weight and very sturdy. I felt that I won't turn an ankle hiking. It's waterproof. Has plenty of room for a thick winter sock. This was an excellent find. Highly recommend this boot.

In fact I ordered another pair because I couldn't find the ones I'd ordered last summer. The minute the new ones arrived, of course the others turned up so I returned this newer pair. I've had Bean shoes for hiking for several years now - totally live up to the waterproof claim! I ordered the boots version for heavier snowy trail walking days.

I bought these because I needed a good pair of hiking boots. They had to be water proof. They were both. They didn't hurt my feet. I recommend these.

Today I broke in my new boots on a hike at Lake Wenatchee WA called "Dirty Face Trail." The boots fit perfectly and my feet were happy even after wearing them for the first time. They felt very sturdy and safe on the trail.

Love these boots! My 2-year old Keene's just fell apart and I was in need of another pair - quickly. The fit is good, I wear them everyday at my job. I don't need supports which has been a treat. I planned to start getting out in the woods this year - so nice part of my gear.

I usually wear a size 9 in sneakers, so made sure to order one size up in the hiking boots. Waterproof, comfortable, and still breaking them in. They don't hurt my feet, and I can wear thicker socks with them, and have no issues. I got these in June 2020, I've been breaking them in since. More hiking planned for the summer months and am excited to have these for those trips.

I have owned these hiking boots for several years, and although they are in good shape, I anticipate that they will wear out eventually. I like them so much that I got another pair to use when the time comes. They are very lightweight and do not leak when it's raining or snowing.

I have had these shoes about 6 months and have wore them every day and you can not tell. They look as good today and they did when I pulled them out of the box. I have worn them in the rain and my feet never got wet. These are by far the most comfortable pair of shoes I have ever worn. Please do not ever stop making these shoes, if and when this pair is wore out, I will by another pair.

I bought these as a backup pair for a birding trip. These were so comfortable that I never wore my original pair. I wear a rather high orthotic in one shoe because one leg is shorter due to an accident a long time ago, and while I can get into most hikers with the right-side orthotic, the left one is either very tight or doesn't fit at all. No problem here. I have plenty of room for both the orthotics and a thick hiking sock. Wore these birding on trails and sand for 5 days right out of the box and no issues. I want to order another pair in a different color. I am size 9 medium width

I was pleased to have found a wide pair of LL Bean Waterproof Hiking boots in my size, very reasonable priced & with coupon even better! These are replacing a 15 year old Name brand pair & I expect these to last just as long! Thank you.
