I just ordered these boots for the Snow/Rain because I live in MA. They are very comfortable and warm. I normally wear a size 91/2 and most of the times a size 10. I ordered a size 9 in these boots & am so glad I did. They definitely run on the bigger side & they will definitely accommodate a thicker sock as well. Go by the Llbean sizing guidelines when ordering these boots.

These boots are so comfy and warm, I can't wait for it to get colder out so I can wear them every day. The boots are extremely good quality and are worth every penny.

I am so pleased with these boots! I wore them down to the UW Campus after a day of hiking and my daughter, who is a student there, tweeted my picture because she loved how they looked with jeggings. She now wants a pair. They are super comfortable and very well made. I ordered a size 8, med. width. I am normally an 8 - 8 1/2. They are a tad long but I wear them with wool hiking socks and they feel great. I have also experimented with double wool socks and they still feel fairly comfortable....perhaps a bit snug width-wise with the 2 pairs. With the polar vortex threatening a return this winter I wanted to be prepared. I'm very happy that I spent the extra money on these. They are definitely worth it.

These were such a great purchase. I purchased them in my size, but opted for a wide width to give my feet a little extra wiggle room -- they were great! They are extra comfortable, in addition to keeping your feet warm and dry. I bought them to wear to a trip to Colorado. I was able to walk in the snow, mud, and puddles without a problem. The only downside is that I live in Houston, which is hot 80% of the year so, I wont use them very often here. Also, for cute outfit ideas, you can find plenty of pics on Pinterest.

The product description reads that you should order a full size up. I wear an 8 and ordered a 9 and they were WAY too big for me. I could tell they would be the right boot for the snow and slush of New York so I exchanged for an 8. If you're looking to buy these I would stick to your normal size, even with thick socks.

I received my boots today. I ordered a 7 and I'm usually an 8. They were too tight with mid weight sock. And I got the 7 W. I exchanged for an 8 W. I have had LL Bean boots for 25 years and they are still in good shape but thought it was time for a new pair. They are worth every penny and I can't wait to get my new pair of boots. We get some bad weather here in se Ohio so I wear them a lot. I ordered the sterling liners in a 7 and stabilicers in a medium and they work. For me the true to size was best. llbean your boots rock and I will always get my boots from you! Great quality and made in USA makes me proud to wear them! Thank you for a wonderful product!

I've been wanting these boots for awhile and finally spent the money on them. Last winter I wanted to buy them, but they were on backorder all spring. I absolutely LOVE these boots. I just ordered them and couldn't wait to try them on. I am usually a 7.5/ 8 and ordered the 7 and they are perfect! Even with thick wool socks my foot has room. They are cute and stylish and all my friends at college want to get them now. Get them while you can!

I ordered these boots a couple of weeks ago and haven't been able to wear them as MA weather hasn't been too cold yet. However, when they first arrived I immediately fell in love again. I owned a pair when I was much younger and forgot how much I love bean boots. They are absolutely adorable and look great with leggings or skinny jeans. More importantly, they are incredibly comfortable and a great winter boot that I know will keep my feet warm. Can't wait to wear them when it starts to snow!
The only downside about these boots is that they were a tad bigger than I expected even after reading other peoples comments. I'm typically a 7.5-8 and I bought the 8. I definitely wouldn't order a 7 for fear that I couldn't wear the boots with thick socks, but just wanted to mention that for all others on the fence about their size.

I ordered these boots after wanting them for over a year. They are everything I wanted and more! They are so comfortable. I found them to be a tiny bit big (I am a size 9 and I got a size 9) but with thick winter socks they're just right. Now I just can't wait for the cold weather to come so I can wear them. I also might buy the sheepskin insoles for them, to make them even cozier. Another hit with me, L.L. Bean!

These are by far the best boots I have ever worn! I wear either a size 7.5 or 8, depending on the shoe. I bought a size 7 and it fits perfectly, with some wiggle room as well. These boots feel better than my bedroom shoes! The leather is so soft and it doesn't cut into you when you walk; like other boots I have worn in the past. The price may seem high, but very much worth the price.

I love these boots. I usually wear a 7 and I have wide feet, so I followed the suggestion of other reviews and ordered a size down. The 6 Wide fits perfectly.

I got these boots yesterday in the store and have been wearing them since. They are more comfy than uggs and seriously the best boots ever. I am an 8 and they were true to my size. Defiantly worth the price. I LOVE THESE BOOTS

WOW! I love these so much. Defiantly worth the money. I'm attending Idaho for college in just a few weeks where the winters are brutal and I'm not worried anymore because I have these. Originally out of the box I HATED the way they looked because they looked large (and I'm from California so I've never seen snow boots ever in my life) They are actually so cute on and I'm bound to get compliments on them! They're super warm and are NOT heavy at all. As for sizing I am a 6 normally and I bought the 6 wide because i just needed the extra room for socks. So its totally preference but I would in recommend getting your normal size but ordering in wide to have the extra room for wool socks. BUY THESE BOOTS YOU WONT REGRET IT!!! :)

I was originally hesitant to buy these boots because it's a hefty price tag for a college student's budget, but I had heard so many good things about them I decided to go for it. And man were they worth it. As soon as I opened the box I knew these boots were of the highest quality. The leather is so soft so no break in was required. And the shearling lining is unbelievably soft and comfortable. I go to school in upstate New York and it's damp and cold and snowy for the majority of the year so these will be perfect. This is the first time I can actually say I'm excited for the winter, just because I want to wear my boots! The lifetime guarantee is just another big plus. I would definitely recommend these boots and I think the tumbled leather and shearling lining are a must.

I bought these boots for grad school in the mountains. I normally wear a size 8, so I ordered down a size because so many people said they ran large. The size 7 fit, but it was very tight and I couldn't even wear thin socks with them. I exchanged them for a size 8 and they fit great with thin or medium socks. These shoes come with a small foot insert. I bought the Shearling Insoles from LL Bean (the wool shoe insert), took out the original insert, and put the shearling lined one in and it fits okay with the size 8. If you are planning to buy the shearling lined foot insert, at least order your normal size if not a size bigger! Now I can change out the normal insert or wool insert depending on how cold it is. Very pleased with how quickly my boots were exchanged and the quality seems great. Can't wait for winter!

I am going to Chicago and NY in December and since I live in CA I had to purchase boots for the trip. I know few people who purchased their boots from LL Bean and was told if I were to wait til the last minute, they will be on backorder and might get them in time for the trip. I listened and ordered a pair. The reviews posted previously were very helpful. I went a full size down (I am usually a 7 and bought size 6). The boots fits perfectly. They are very well made. The quality is great and will very likely last a very long time. I definitely recommend this pair. Can't wait to wear down the streets of NY and Chicago.

My parents bought these boots for me as a graduation gift and I couldn't be happier! I love them and they fit perfectly. I am an 8 and I ordered a 7 and they are great. I will be attending college in Connecticut next year and know that these will be the perfect boot in the cold months of winter. Great product and stylish snow boot! Will order again for sure.

Glad I splurged on these, the shearling lining and the tumbled leather are fabulous!!! These boots go on backorder when the winter weather casts it's dark shadow over New England so getting the size right when they are readily available was good move. As others have mentioned, these run large. I am usually an 8.5 and ended up settling into a 7 wide, they fit perfect with a mid to heavy weight wool sock. Not that I am looking forward to winter (especially after the last one) but I AM looking forward to wearing these when it does arrive.
As always, can't give LLB enough kudos for their customer service, wonderful company to deal with!

Beautiful, beautiful and comfortable shoes. Usually a 7.5 - ordered a 6 and they fit perfectly (snug, hug my feet, with a little wear should be great with thick socks).

These are the nicest, most comfortable Bean boots I have ever owned. The leather is luxuriously soft and supple with real lambswool shearling lining. Quality is just superb and I LOVE the fact that these are made not only in the USA, but right here in New England. Fit is perfect when you go by LLB's sizing recommendation for Bean Boots--I normally wear a size 8 in a shoe, but ordered a size 7 and they fit perfectly with my mid-weight smartwool boot socks. And they are also felt ridiculously comfy right out of the box. Had to wait 3 months to get them because they were backordered--which just shows you how popular they are, and now I know why. After this wretched winter, I at least have these brand new, good-looking boots to wear come fall! I wouldn't think twice about buying these again, and I highly recommend them.

I ordered these boots awhile ago, and they just came because they were on back order. They were well worth the wait!! They are so soft and warm. They do run about a size large, but I also ordered the additional shearling insole and they fit great! Wonderful boot!

If winter is getting you down, buy yourself this pair of luxurious bean boots. Seriously, these boots were a game changer for me. It's amazing how dry and cozy feet can help you to go forth and seize a cold, snowy, miserable day. I usually wear a size 7. I ordered down to a 6 and they fit perfectly.
