I've been ordering Medium shirts and they always fit well, but this shirt in Medium is gigantic. Way too baggy, way too long.
Figure out the sizing and this becomes a good buy. Ridiculous that I would have to pay $6.50 to ship back an item because "Medium" for this item is basically a Large or XL in practice.
Medium I,

I was excited to get a chamois shirt for my husband to wear in the house during winter. He seldom wears it except in early monrings when the temporary is lower in the house. However, I was very dissapointed to find out that there is a big hole in the left elbow area on the shirt. He only wears it for a short period of time in the mornings, and this shirt really does not last as what I expected from LLBean. I might happen to get a faulted one as there are so many positive reviews for this shirt online.

Fit Seems to be the problem with every item purchased here. Even went down in size, hoping to prevent the shirt from being too large. The medium regular fell down past my finger tips. At 6'4 the small might have been the correct choice.

In the past 2-3 years I have purchased three chamois shirts. I have a wine and navy . They were ordered as large medium and they fit perfect. On this shirt just received, I ordered large medium, simple? No! The shirt originally received was way too big. It was like I received an XXL. I returned it. Paid $6.50 for something that wasn't my fault. I re-ordered a different chamois shirt that was on sale in size medium regular. It fits fine. You people changed your sizing. It is very difficult to order on line, so, I am disappointed in what you did and don't know what size to ordered in the future.

Typically I am between a Medium and a Large. This shirt swallows me whole. I'm very sad, because the material is excellent.

I really liked the look of the fabric and finishing, and the feel is great, but the shirt is BIG, way too long. I had to spend $20 at the tailor's to have it shortened and now I have a pretty good looking jacket.

A nice, heavy shirt but runs way too big. I'm tall and the large went all the way to my knees.

The quality is excellent but, the colors are very dull compared to the site photo. I purchased the green plaid and it almost looked like another shirt. I have the apple cinnamon plaid and it is the same as the site photo. I am very displeased because I was excited about the vibrant colors I was going to receive. I need another chamois shirt and don;t want a solid color plus I do not like the blue grey pattern. If you want vibrant colors don't buy this shirt. I am stuck with this shirt plus it is not worth the return, both ways, shipment costs without being sure I will receive the same lackluster product. I have purchased countless products, from LL Bean, over the past 50+ years and have never been this disappointed.
I would add a photo but the color enhancements of my cell and tablet make it look like the website; The naked eye does not have color enhancement. It would be nice if the head of sales and marketings job security was based on site photos looking exactly like warehouse product. Disappointed customers do not make return customers.

Was excited to receive this shirt today. However, after ordering on line I noticed some negative reviews regarding fit. Unfortunately, the reviews referencing the length are spot on. This shirt is ridiculously too long. I'm 6 ft and the shirt is about 6 inches up from my knees. Why would you make it that LONG!
The sleeves and chest were okay. Now I have to return it..

Received this shirt today. Really liked the colors. The hem comes down to almost my knees. I have purchased shirts from LL Bean for 50 years. Never had a fit like this. Hope this is not a trend. After reading the reviews, seems many have had this problem. Maybe time to correct it.

Received this shirt as a gift a while ago. The fit ,fabric are fine, but I have now had to replace ALL the buttons on the shirt. I have never had this occur on any
shirt I've owned.

Fits fine, looks good until washed. Difficult to get wrinkles out with an iron. I will never order another one. I was always pleased with LL Bean flannels in the past but I will never order another!

The fit is fine, the fabric nice, but the plaid is noticeably unmatched on the sides, where the sleeves join the shirt, and slightly in front. The right sleeve is longer that the left by 1/2 inch. Very disappointing.

I loved the material and the look of the shirt. Sleeves were a perfect length and the shoulders fit very comfortably, but this Large Tall shirt is at least an XL around the middle so I am going to return it. Too bad this shirt isn't available in a slightly fitted version. Very disappointed in the fit. I also bought one of the plaid flannel shirts in a L Tall Slightly Fitted version and it fits perfectly. I have a couple older Bean shirts similar to this in a M Tall but with shrinkage the sleeves are now too short and they are a little constricting in the shoulders which is why I ordered the L Tall.

Have always worn medium for this type of LLBean shirt. However, medium was HUGE (not merely "relaxed fit"). Reordered in small which fit like a normal relaxed medium.
Material very warm and soft but product sizing extremely inaccurate. Recommend if purchasing one size down.

Great design, colors, and chamois fabric. But this one is enormous. I'm short and solid - this thing falls below my crotch and would serve well as a tent. It's huge around the waist, and I have a bit of a gut. It's cut straight down from the outside of the shoulder ... On the plus side, it won't pull out of your pants - but you'll have to loosen your belt a notch or two to tuck it in. Maybe it's supposed to be worn untucked. In which case it's almost a smock. I'm a Bean guy - but this one is out of character for their quality control.

This shirt was to have a Medium fit, but it's too long and the sleeves, which cannot be made tight enough, hang below my wrists and into the top part of my hands. I can't imagine what a Large would be like!

Every one of these shirts I purchased gives out at the elbows in a matter of months. I use to be able to get YEARS out of these shirts. Now I know why they dropped the return policy. Really a bummer to see a Maine company headed in this direction. Have always thought of LL Bean casual wear as the bees knees for comfort and durability, but looks like it's time to rethink that...

HAD PURCHASED THREE CHAMOIS SHIRTS TWO SOLID
COLORS AND ONE BLUE/GREEN. THE BLUE/GREEN SHIRT
WAS MUCH LIGHTER THEN THE TWO SOLID COLORS.THE
SHIRT SHOULD BE 17.5 OZ.

Nice pattern and fabric, but this shirt is ridiculously oversized. I ordered a medium and it fits more like an XXL. Wanted to love this shirt, but the sizing makes me sad.

Purchased this item in large and it was way too big. I'm 5'11, 210, 34/35 arm length. Normally wear a large. This shirt was too long and way to wide. Fit more like a XXL. I'd strongly recommend going down a size maybe even two! Going to have to get even a medium hemmed probably. Please fix this sizing problem!

I bought three of these flannels at the same time two of them are supper soft and very thick flannel, the third the one in blue is not the same material. It is more of a course woven fabric versus a soft flannel. also all three shirts were ordered in large, all three state on the tag that they are large, but all three shirts fit different. one is almost to my knees, one is extremely boxy compared to the other two and the third the arm length is about an inch and a half shorter. Might want to get some body out to El Salvador to see what they got going on down there. In the past sizing has been consistent for me, really not the case on these shirts, they are all over the map.

Love the LL Bean quality but I can't believe how big this shirt runs. I'm 5ft10" athletic build and always wear a large. I got the large and it looks like a tarp! It literally almost goes down to my knee caps. I got one of these a few years ago and returned it due to the sizing issue that others have reported. I was hoping they would've listened but apparently not. Love their shirts but unfortunately they're way way to long and goofy looking on me so I will be looking elsewhere. PLease LL Bean fix the sizing!
