I've a long time Beans fan, but have noticed over the years that their flannels always develop holes in the elbows. I lost my years-old Bean chamois, so decided to replace it with this one. I was folding it and noticed a hole developing after less than 2 months! Really disappointed in Beans quality dive.

I am 6'3" and weigh 190. My chest is 41.5". Waist is 37". I purchased a Large Tall and this fit like a moomoo dress. As you can see from the pic, there is 50" of torso fabric! If you have a BMI >35 it would probably fit fine. I would have it taken in but it would screw up the plaid pattern. Otherwise I love the color and heavy weight flannel. I am gifting it 6'6" rotund friend.

I followed the washing instructions on the label and washed the item in cold water and dry on low but the item shrank so badly that I had to give the shirt to my daughter. Liked the shirt just wished I could have kept it.

I bought two of these shirts for my husband. Originally they were wonderful thick and warm! Unfortunately, after two years they have both started to fall apart. The elbows on the Canyon Rust color are totally shredded and the cuffs on the Apple Cinnamon are coming apart at the seams. I have washed these according to the instructions and hang them to dry. I had expected them to last longer, for the price.

Received this item as a gift and was immediately excited. Upon trying the shirt on, it was comically oversized, like I was young child wearing my father's clothing. I wear a size large in nearly everything shirt related, specifically flannel in this case. Despite the tag saying it was a size large, it had to be a factory fluke because it fit like a 3XL. By definition of the size chart, I would not even be able to button the medium. I will not reorder this shirt, because if that was a size large, I would need an XS.

Although the fabric is nice the pattern is Not a black watch plaid, rather striped black. Disappointing.

The sleeves shrank about an inch after first wash. As I have long arms, sleeve length matters!

I always purchase Large when buying shirts from LL Bean. This shirt swallowed me whole. Large fits more like a 2 XL.

Bought on 2019, 2-3 years later elbows are now frayed and have holes. This has never happened with any other of the numerous LL Bean garments I've bought. I can't return so hence the low rating.

Fits like a bathrobe. For many years I've always ordered shirts and jackets from Bean in "tall" sizes. (6'-1" last measured) But this shirt comes within 8" of my knees! It's on it's way back!

Sending this back for three reasons: 1. For a 100% cotton shirt, the care instructions were not exactly care free. Cold wash, like items, dry low or air dry, no iron. After following them precisely before wearing, it was still wrinkled. 2. This chamois cloth is heavier than but not as comfortable as LL Bean's flannels. More like a jacshirt. 3. Like wearing a tent. Cut way too big from chest to below waist. Does not mirror typical LL Bean traditional fit.

This shirt fits well and is warm and comfortable, but the sleeves are thin. Both my shirt and my son's wore out at the elbow during light wear around the house. Do not recommend this shirt to anyone.

Great looking. Great fit. Cleaning was too tough. No fabric softener, no iron, no dry clean. Wash and hope it doesn't wrinkle?

The long version is too long, past your bottom, the neck is too large, even if you close the last button and the cuffs are the same. Material and color are nice, but maybe stick with the regular version instead of the long one unless you want to feel like wearing a night pajama

Size OK, warmth great. Color is misrepresented. See above, it shows a purple color. In reality, it is bluish and rust colored. I bought it for the color but it is thick and warm so I kept it.

My husband has several Bean flannel shirts, some more than ten years old and still in great shape. However, the first year with this Apple Cinnamon shirt, the cuffs were badly frayed at the ends. At just three years, yesterday the fabric on one sleeve split open. This was not at a seam. We live in the south so flannel shirts are only worn for a couple months in a year. So disappointed.

I was recommended on the website to get an XL Tall, and went with the large tall. I am 6' 4" 245 lbs and it goes almost to my knees. I don't usually tuck my flannel shirts in, and this is so big I would not be able to. It's a great shirt, very soft and seems durable. Wishing I could wear it and not have to deal with the hassle of sending it back.

This was my favourite winter shirt, but after two seasons it developed holes in both elbows. The description says LL Bean developed this shirt for durability. Patches on the elbows would solve the problem.

These run really big. A typical large top isn't snug on me, but it's not big. This shirt in size large is huge on me. A medium might fit me better and I haven't fit in a medium since 10th grade.

Returned the XL reg it was way too big. The L reg is slightly too tight- I returning it also. Also the plaid is a bit too much.

The fabric and colors are great but this shirt is oversized and way too long for my husband who normally wears a medium tall at 6'0" and 170#. Very disappointed and wanted to love this shirt. Returning.
