After several washes the shirt ripped.
I would like another one.
Thank you.

Nice shirt, but LL Bean's sizing is inconsistent. I originally ordered this in a medium, and it was FAR too large. When I ordered the small, it fit correctly on my torso, but the shirt was so long that the tail came down to my upper thigh. Weird.
Liked the color, liked the material, but it wasn't worth hanging onto with such a strange fit.

LLBean chamois shirts are worn daily by my boyfriend. He has several solid colors and one plaid. His other plaid chamois is too big through the body, in both width and length and is a whole cuff length longer in the sleeves. Thinking this was a "one off", I bought him this plaid one for Valentine's Day. He loved the colors and was thrilled to have another chamois to choose from his wardrobe to wear. We were both very disappointed to find that it, too, fit like the other plaid one. He won't wear it, so I will have to return it.

The sizing was spot on. The quality of the fabric however was just average by today's standards..I've owned several chamois shirts over the years and all lost weight after a few washing and drying cycles, but these ended up much lighter than those of the past. Overall I'm ok with them, just not the fabric quality I had expected. I expect that lint will ease up some with future washing, if not I'll be wearing a buttoned long sleeve T-shirt before too long. Will I buy anymore at this price, I'm doubtful.

Inconsistent sizing. Purchased two of these shirts. Both size medium. One fit great, nice and roomy so you could wear it over a t-shirt. Other one fit like a second skin couldn't button it. Same shirt, same size, but they were from a different planet. Great quality shirt if you get one that fits. Returned the smaller fitting one.

The shoulders fit fine. But the middle section, around the belly....is much too large. At 5'10" and 205 lbs, I'm not perfectly smooth. But this shirt is much too big in the middle.

Pros:
The material is soft, warm, and handsome. Just what you'd expect.
Cons:
The fit is way too big in the arms, chest, and back. The collar is comically large and disproportionate. I would have to weigh at least 50lbs more for this to look normal. This is my first LLBean shirt ever, and I wish the quality of the fabric was matched by the accuracy of the fit for someone like me: normal weight, active, slim. I had the shirt tailored, which added about $50 to the cost. Likely will not purchase more LLBean gear after this experience.

Nice shirt but not very true to size, The LG is like a small XL the XL is more like a small XXL.

This is the second purchase of this item. This one is a poorer quality material and less weight (Shri Lanka). The first (El Salvador) was of good quality and weight and convinced me to purchase a second while available. Regretful that you cannot depend on the quality.

the good --good quality very soft heavy weight as advertised and run bigger than other LL bean shirts. The bad --
Very long in the arms and especially total length thus cant wear out side pants especially if your short like me 5ft 8". may need larger waist size pants to tuck it in; I did

Love the quality, but it was extremely too big. My husband is consistently a large in every brand I've ever bought, but this fit more like an XL or XXL would.

The quality is lovely but it's so much bigger than the regular flannel shirts that I'm thinking of returning it.

Nice fabric, love the shirt, not the right fit. Large was like an extra large. Hubby is normally a large and this was like a dress. Going to return and order a medium.

Sizing is unpredictable. Originally ordered an XL. It was HUGE. Exchanged it for an L which fits like a Large should fit but would have preferred an XL that fit like an XL.

I purchased two of these shirts in the Tall size. When I tried them on they fit great, but after washing them the sleeves shrunk considerably, at least two inches. I will live with that rather than returning them, but they aught to be pre-shrunk or not sold as Tall.

I'm giving this a '3' because the fit is way off ... the shirt is very well made and the plaid beautiful ... but the shirt was huge ... our son is tall, thin but has wide shoulders ... he could pull the shirt opening almost to his sides ... I would say this is made more for a 'mature figure' ...

This shirt is HUGE. I'm a size small in pretty much every brand I've tried, but I could seriously fit two of me in this shirt. I really like this plaid, and it seems like it's great quality, but I'm going to have to return it because it swallows me whole.

Short is very nicely made. Sizing in the body is off from a normal shirt, this would be more of a jacket.
