This shirt was a different plaid than my husband usually wears. I bought him a men's regular medium and I think this shirt was marked incorrectly. It is HUGE! The sleeves are too long, the shoulders are too wide and he could probably wear it for a dress. I guess I'll have to throw it in the dryer multiple times and wash it on hot to see if I can shrink it.

Great quality material. I ordered a medium tall. The sleeves were barely sufficiently long but the back length was out of proportion long. There's no fit available for a 6' tall person with long arms with a medium chest.

The material is wonderful, there's just too much of it! I'm 5'9"and of medium build and the shirttails are so long and voluminous that they are uncomfortable to tuck into any properly fitting pants (at least for me). I usually wear them untucked but, again, the tails are so long it just looks sloppy. AN UNTUCKED VERSION would be perfect! I love your untucked line and have bought several shirts for different seasons. Please consider adding the chamois shirts (and your wonderful flannel shirts) to your product line!

The durability of the fabric of these shirts is not very good.

I have been buying these chamois shirts for many years . some of the older ones are still heavier and warmer than the ones I purchased this year . these chamois shirts are my go to winter shirts so the older ones have been washed and dried many many times . cotton prices are at almost all time low adjusted for inflation . clearly l l bean can put as much cotton in the shirts as it used to .

Although they seem much thinner than their predecessors the shirts still very comfortable and fits well.

No way was this a medium sized shirt. It was HUGE. Return policy is not good since LLBean charges for returns. I returned it to the local LLBean store and they return the purchase price LESS shipping. I doubt I will order from them again online.

I loved the material it was super soft and the best thing about the shirt. The overall color and style was great too, but the bottom of these shirts flair out way too much. It felt like I was wearing a dress. I'm 6'5", 250lbs and a size Large was big enough that I wanted to try a Medium instead. Order a size down!

Soft, warm shirt. The elbow is a huge weakness thoughevery one of them gets shredded at the elbows long before they should for the price

Good quality, nice coloration. But, it fits long and I am tall. I ordered a XL regular.

Very good quality and feels real good. The shirt is not true to size. It is made big.

I expected better quality from llbean. The fabric could have been heavier. The collars could have been stiffer.

Shirt is warm but it is pilling after only 2 washes. Not even close to the same quality as my 15 to 20 year chamois shirts I am replacing. It may be sent back. The quality is slipping at LL Bean.

Ordered and received a size large, traditional shirt which was very large in shoulders and arms. This was unexpected and disappointing as all of my previously purchased llbean traditional, size large shirts fit perfectly. Tried medium but was a little snug.

Pilling of the fabric in the shirt is very troubling. I do like the weight of the fabric.

The shirts are very well made but the sleeve length for a tall medium is only an inch longer than a regular size medium. After the first wash and a slight shrinkage the length was unacceptable. Tried a large tall and the sleeve length was good but the body was very large. My husband is 6'3" 190lbs. Both were returned.

I've owned this shirt many times over the years - And after a great run, purchased it again - unfortunately you've changed the sizing - Measured, its a full 3 inche s smaller than the last one I purchased - before you say anything, I purchased the "traditional fit" - so not only did you introduce a new slim fit, you decreased the sizing of the traditional fit - Listen, I'm not a "get off my lawn" old man, but I have been shopping with you forever and now my favorite shirt is unwearable - and FYI - I purchased the Bright Red as well and it fits small also -

Comfortable shirt however it is definitely a thinner weight material than I had expected. The chamois shirts I had purchased in the past from LL Bean were a heavier weight which provided better warmth. I know that manufactures try to cut back to compensate for increased costs, however one of the reasons that I've been an ongoing LL Bean customer is that LL Bean had stood out from the 'rest of the crowd' by maintaining exceptional quality above and beyond their competitors. Apparently, it appears that has changed which is unfortunate given the cost of LL Bean products. Given my disappointment with the thinner weight material I kept the shirt and will compensate by heavier layering, however, I'm afraid that their cutbacks in quality will eventually catch up with them.

I wear XL Reg. That's what I ordered. When it got here, the fit was more like 2XL or 3XL. Going on gut feeling I exchanged for a L. I couldn't get it around my chest. Maybe, maybe not, sizing miss labeled. So I'm waiting on another exchange back to XL Reg. Far as the feel and warmth that will have to wait until another one arrives.

These shirts were purchased as a gift. I am 5'8" and have a 42" chest. I wear a Regular. The person these were purchased for is 6'1" and his arms are 4" longer than mine. The XL Tall fit him like a robe. Something has happened over the years. Sizes don't have any bearing in reality. Both shirts have been returned for 2 size Regular. I'll be interested in seeing if they actually fit him.

I wear a large or xl. Ordered the large. It fit like a Double XL. Returned for a medium. It fit like a Slim-Fit medium. Returned for refund. Nothing traditional about the fit of either. Shirt was attractive and well made. Bummed.

I bought this shirt for my husband to wear for our family photos. I should have listened to other reviewers who said this shirt was tent like and ran big. We *might* have kept it if I had ordered the medium size instead of a large, but I also didn't like the forest shade color as much in person. For some reason, the vertical lines aren't as noticeable in person, so it kind of looked like my husband was just wearing a forest green, tent-like prison shirt. Not super flattering...I will unfortunately be returning this shirt.

Bought this for my husband as an outer layer for winter and he My husband loved this when he got it. Washed in a warm cycle & hung up to dry. It has shrunk at least an inch in all directions. It still just fits him, but he can't use it over a thermal anymore which is what it was bought for. Disappointing.

It's a nice pattern, material, almost a heavy chamois material-BUT it is LONG. Really LONG. It's almost laughable it's so LONG. Husband is 5'8", 165 and usually takes a medium in LLB shirts. This shirt in med has GOT to be marked wrong. It should be a Tall.
