Nice shirt, but, as with most "Tall" options, the sleeves are much too short for me - I have really long arms, so it is very difficult to find long-sleeved shirts whose arm length is long enough for me. Also the pocket flaps are difficult for me to open.

Nice warm fabric, but be prepared for a significant amount of shrink. Tumbled dry on low per instructions, but shirt shrunk so that the sleeves are now tight and short. Initially, I was impressed by the sleeve length and roominess, since this is where many shirt makers cut corners. In the future, I will not run in the dryer and hope that some of the original length and roominess returns.

Great texture, super comfy, but looks really odd if you don't tuck it in. I would recommend going with the fitted version.

Worn these for years. Must have changed manufacturers. Older ones are soft with a nice flat finish after years of washing. These get fuzzy after one washing. Don't like the look.

Love the beautiful fabric, pattern, and color but the shirt is so wide you could wear a pillow under it. I'm very sad and dissapointed to have to return it. PLEASE offer this in "slimmer" fit.

No where near the quality of my older chamois shirts. The weave is not as tight,
You called them chamois because the fabric resembled a chamois skin. No longer. Why should you care what I think? I am 80 and a customer since 1955. You've left me behind in your marketing strategy long ago.

Ordered xl tall for my son who is 200# and 6'3". It was too wide in the body and was so long it qualified as a dress. Good quality shirt but will return and order a large regular length.

A large number of reviews have noted that the sizing is way too large. When I recieved the shirt I had the same impression. Far be it from me to defend LL Beans quality control, which has suffered greatly over the past ten years, but by washing this shirt it shrunk by one full size. After that it fit ok.

I've ordered 3 of these shirts and they are quite roomy compared to the standard flannel shirts. After light wear one of these shirts developed a hole at the elbow. Not what you would expect from L L Bean products. Especially an item at this price point.

color way patterns and quality build are very nice but holy cow the fit is awful. shoulders and arms fit ok but the shirt is way too too long. i am 6ft and the shirt length reached down to almost my knees! i thought i ordered a robe! lol crazy! also the shirt pockets are very awkward looking. llbean may need to back to the drawing board on this one.

I like the shirts a lot, but they wear holes in the elbows in one year of infrequent wear. Not durable and poor value for money. Bean should use better material.

Great shirt. Thick and quality made. But I normally buy Medium Tall and this shirt in a Medium Tall fit like a Large Tall. Way bigger than other Medium Tall shirts I have ordered from LL Bean. So, I am sending it back for an exchange for a Medium (no tall) and will see if that works.

Ugh! I love L.L. Bean flannel so much! I bought this flannel for my dad while on a road trip. However, being shorter at 5'8", it looked like a tunic and was not the look he was going for. We returned it without a replacement. I wish there was a "short" option for men.

I gave the shirt a three rating because the plaid does not match at the side seams. This shirt is only one example of the lower quality of Bean's clothing.

The above shirt is a Christmas present so hasn't been used yet,
But a similar chamois shirt bought last year has developed holes in the elbows. I have bought chamois shirts for years from LLBean
And this fabric failure has started to happen in the last couple of years.

The quality of the shirt is A+ The sizing is bizarre.
I returned it because although the sleeves and width were great, the length made it almost look like a night gown. It would probably work for a guy with a big ball belly or someone much taller than 6'3"

Fit chart is off for this, go down to the next size. Ordered a Large/Tall and the sleeve length was great, but the body seemed like it was XL or bigger. I ended up returning and going with a Medium/Tall. "True Fit" guide for this is definitely off. The shirt itself felt/looked great. I gave it three stars since I've got to return it and get the right size (which is too small based on the "True Fit" measurements).

Love the shirt, but the sizing is way off. XL fits like a XXL. Built more for a size 48-50 chest. Unfortunately, will have to return.

It feels thinner than the chamois I'd bought before at Bean.

The garment and material where vey nice but vastly oversized. Had to return it. I have several LL Bean shirts in the same size which fit well but this was voluminous.

Ordered xxl, was way too large, felt two sizes bigger than it should have been. Also, fabric is quite thick, not in a comfortable way.

the shirt was top quality. and absolutely beautiful. But it was HUGE. I ordered an XXL because that is what my husband wears in every other shirt, but this one was just gigantic. I returned it, sadly. I would like LL Bean to use the same sizing structure that other companies use. The sweater in XXL was fine.

I really like the shirt in every respect except the length. The arms are fine, but the body is really long. Almost like an old-time night gown. I have to have it tailored.
