Purchased 11/17, and just gifted this shirt in Mariner Blue to a man who's 5'11" ~170# and it was way too big. Now we're both disappointed to see Mariner Blue isn't even available anymore to exchange it for a Small. Humbug.

Love these chamois shirts. Very comfortable and wash well with minimal wrinkles. Trying to find the right size for my shape (tall, regular, slightly fitted).

Soft, comfortable, subdued, but possibly too warm for the SouthWest, if our winter weather turns out to be as warm as presently predicted

This shirt is warm, soft and comfortable. Reminds me of the chamois shirts of the past.

I bought this a couple months ago for Autumn comfort. I just put this shirt on and I'm a little disappointed. Although a nice, basic flannel shirt, it is NOT a heavy wight chamois shirt. I have the original chamois shirts in every color, this is not the same weight. For 85.00 it should be. Would not recommend at current price... maybe 50.00

The large size that I usually buy was too long in sleeves and shirttail and needed to be shortened.

I like the shirt very much. It did come missing a front button, but rather than returning it I sewed one of the extra buttons in its place.

The quality of the shirt is top. These shirts are like wearing a blanket. Only knock I have on this blue plaid one is that the green is a little too prominent. Hardly noticed it in the pics and when I received it I was like, "Whoa, did I order a green shirt?" Still gonna give it a go.

Shirt material, color and quality look great, but unfortunately the sizing is too large compared to the same size shirts of other brands. I ordered and XL and have way too much room to the point of looking sloppy. For example, I wear suits with long arms (44L) and these sleeves were still uncomfortably too long. The cuffs covered my palms to the base of my fingers. In the chest I could pull it out far enough to fit a football underneath. Unfortunately I need to return and spend more money on shipping and handling.

This fabric is thick and soft. Unfortunately the medium fit like an extra large. The shoulders were just a bit large, which led me to send it back, as i don't think a smaller size would fit properly

Great shirt for my 40year old son . It was just too big . We returned it for a medium. Hope that works .

Nice shirt, longer than i needed. Don't assume your size based on other flannels, whether or not they're in the same 'class' (i.e. chamois, scotch, katahdin, etc). I should not have gotten a tall size. I have skinny frame at 6'1" 155lbs and the medium reg would have been perfect. However, the katahdin model would have been too small at a medium reg.

Great shirt. These seem to run large. I have an old "large" from several years ago that I never wore because it looked like it came out of David Byrnes closet. This time around I got a medium and it fits great. I always buy large but not in this case. Other than that it's a great shirt but noticeably lighter weight than the old one I still have (that was never worn). Old shirt has a heavy cardboard-ish feel to it, new one doesn't. So minus 1 star since it's really just a heavier flannel, like what I used to get as a standard flannel back in the grungie 90s.

Love this shirt...soft fabric and warm. My only complaint is that my original order size L (my normal size in Bean shirts) was too big. The medium fit perfect.

colors as pictured. fit is a little "boxy," though. I'm not unhappy with the shirt; it's just one of my favorites, because of the fit. It wasn't my intention when making the purchase, but I will wear more as a sh-acket

Would give 4.5 stars if it was an option. Great shirt, very warm and soft but runs almost a full size large. All my Bean shirts are medium but this one feels like I could have gone with a small (I'm 6'2" 190lbs). Good for layering though!

Great shirt but I had to have the sleeves shortened. They were 36" at least and I wear 32". That added $17 to the cost.

Great color. Super soft and cozy. Runs tall, I ordered regular that's the only buyer beware

We have purchased the chamois shirt numerous times in the past and were always pleased with our choices. The PLAID shirt was a welcome change to our choices. My only disappointment is that the side seams do not match in the plaid as I believe they should when spending $75 for a shirt. I have sewn for years and years and have always matched patterns or in this case the plaid.
