Warmer than the flannel with fleece lining. Beats any other flannel or chamois shirt I've ever had. Yes, it's huge when taken out of the bag ... but after washing shrinks a full size. I'm a long time LLB fan, and this shirt is perhaps my most favorite purchase. Don't hesitate, stay warm and toasty and good looking this winter, with this shirt.

Bought the shirt as a xmas gift for my brother. I agree the shirt runs big-- I think the Large Tall is big for a large. The weight of the chamois is very nice. I was hoping for a different color, but it was sold out, so I purchased the blue plaid-- I'm still happy with the color. I hope he likes it too.

Bought this for my husband for his birthday and he loves it! Says it is comfortable, warm and fits exactly right. He has lost weight and now wears a large. I bought a t-shirt to match the colors in the shirt and he looks great in it! Well done, LL Bean!

Extremely comfortable in cool to cold weather. Regular L fits me well (5'11", 190lbs) and feels like an old favorite immediately after first wash. I especially like it under my Ducks Unlimited vest jacket. Very glad I added this shirt to my LLB apparel options.

Never had such a comfortable shirt. I hope it lasts forever but since I wear it almost daily, doubt that it will.

Have a rare blood disease in which my blood clots even in cool weather so living in New England is a challenge. This shirt sounded and looked warm. Bought one. Loved it so much that I bought five more. When Apple Cinnamon color comes back into stock will get that one too so that I have one for each day of the week.

I love this shirt so much, the quality is beyond expectation, so soft yet tough and warm, fits perfectly. I'm 6'1 regular large traditional fit is for me. Will order for more...

I received a very good looking Signature Series Flannel shirt as a Christmas gift last year. I'm 6'3" 290 with long arms. That shirt was too tight in 2XLT. I exchanged it for this shirt, which has Bean's Traditional Fit, in the same size. This is the by far the best flannel I've ever had, and I've had a lot being a lifelong MN and WI resident! I now have 2 other colors and don't want to put on any of my other winter shirts in my closet. Great fit and it feels like it will have great durability. They do get even better after a few times in the washing machine.

I have been wearing these chamois shirts for many years. Excellent product; beautifully made; superb fabric and very comfortable.

I bought three of these chamois shirts recently for birthday presents. All recipients were thrilled with the shirts!! Very soft, comfortable, warm, and come out of the drier wrinkle free. They fit and look great. I've had two more requests for them as Christmas presents!!!

I shopped around alot and found no equal. I have had a few for years and they don't wear out. Well worth the money!

I love giving chamois shirts to my husband for Christmas. He has them in all colors, but he wears them so often that I have to buy him a chamois shirt every year! THIS shirt, the plaid, was disappointedly sold out... but then I saw that it was sold out on line... so I called customer service and they said they'd check stores and voila! They had it. LLBean has great customer service and I mean great. My husband will be so happy to get this shirt. Win-win at my house.

Have been purchasing this shirt for the last few seasons. Every year I look forward to Fall release of the shirt in anticipation of new plaid patterns. Soft comfortable material; a true lady magnet. Keeps you warm on the cold days, and keeps you super stylee!

This is truly a wonderful shirt: soft, warm, nice fitting and colorful (I chose the Apple Cinnamon color). This is the softest flannel shirt I have ever worn. The Apple Cinnamon color is perfect for this time of year. My wife did make one alteration to it since I like to wear my shirts untucked: she cut off and squared the tails so I can get more use out of it that way, like a light weight jacket worn buttoned or open - very versatile that way. Great shirt!

This is a great shirt when you want a cozy, soft warm shirt in colder weather. Well made and sturdy, even though I won't use it this way, it will certainly stand up to hard wearing and repeated washings. Perfect fit for me as well.

This shirt is really soft, didn't shrink after the 1st wash, and stays tucked in. Did not order the xtall large instead got the reg large. Sleeve length is great, about 35". Look at the sizing given, it is true.

I just received my shirt in XL Rust Orange, an absolutely beautiful fall color, and I immediately ripped the bag open and put it on. I knew from previous LLBean purchases that this would be a very high quality shirt, but this had greatly exceeded any expectations I could have imagined. The fit is perfect and allows for freedom of movement in all the right places. Very thick and durable fabric yet soft to the touch and warm.

In the 57 years we have been married I have given my husband at least five chamois shirts from LLBean. Never has he worn one out, but rather, he would "outgrow" them. This year I noticed the beautiful plaid ( I choose the warm colored one) that I thought would be perfect for a Christmas gift for him. When it came it had all the earmarks and qualities of our previous chamois shirts.....but ........ it was so beautiful, I gave it to him immediately. It looks so fine with his gray hair. Perfect weight for our damp Northwestern weather and attractive enough to wear out to dinner with me.

Great looking and soft feel to shirt. My only reservation is that I bought a large, since it is my usual size but this shirt runs bit, Big, I am easily using it for a jacket. It was on back order I don't want to take a chance on it not be there in Medium. I would not hesitate to get one again.

I purchase many products from company's like LL Bean, Eddie Bauer, Orvis and others. I've definitely found the quality at LL Bean to be superior on a consistent basis. My favorite line of shirts had always been Pendleton wool, at least until I discovered this Chamois shirt. It's a much heavier and warmer material than you usually see in a cotton flannel type shirt. After purchasing this shirt, I plan to purchase several other colors. The one thing to be aware of is fit. This shirt runs very large. I'm a 43 Long size for suit or sportcoat, and for casual shirts like this, I would usually wear a large tall. But when I tried the various sizes on in the store, I discovered the correct fit for me - in the case of this shirt - was Medium regular. So I would suggest you to order one size smaller than normal.
