The shoes look great... But the toe box needs to be wider for more comfort... I wish I would have bought a different pair due to that one issue but I might be able to live with it for awhile and also I wish it was slip resistant as well.. I'm a mail carrier so my shoes need to be able to endure everyday beatings and weather. I'm on my feet 8 plus hours, if you have any recommendations send them my way.

UPS driver here. Bought them late October and started wearing. Tread is down to half or so. Not as grippy, getting new pair, will save these til spring/summer. Lasted 3 months, but these are the busiest 3 months of our year. Super comfy! Averaged 20k steps/day. M-F. I wish the heel pad didn’t stick out so much.

The overall product is great, but. The soles wear down very quickly and peel away from the bottom of boot. I wish they would fix this issue. i have owned several pairs. im a delivery driver in and out of truck over 200 times a day and encounter all different terrain throughout the day. The most comfortable boot I've ever worn.

I really like these boots they're light and comfortable. I can't wait to take them on longer hikes and really try them out.

I have worn my new boots 4 shifts, 12 hours each shift. The treads have began to separate from the soft soul already. They are the most comfortable patrol boot Ive ever worn. However, for the money, I'd expect them to last linger than 4 shifts.

So far I am wearing these shoes for daily 2-3 mile walks on concrete and asphalt. I expect to begin wearing them on trails soon. Great heel to toe forward movement. Great cushion, though not plush, firm and responsive. Ample vertical room in the forefoot. I don't have big feet but could use some additional width in the forefoot. Is a wide size being consdered?

These shoes are great, they fit well, super breathable, so dang comfy and I feel like they give me fantastic traction while I'm out and about. My only complaint is I've had to glue the rubber sole back to the foam along almost the entire outside of the shoe. The sole started peeling very early into me wearing them and I figured no big deal it's just a few spots but now it's almost the whole rubber sole and seems like maybe a design flaw. Don't let that scare you away from these bad chickens, just maybe have a thing of glue at the ready.

Wish they came in 4E, the souls are very comfortable just tight across the top of the foot.

I am a 54 year old man with Multiple Sclerosis (for 25 years). I love the fact they have a wide footprint for stability and they are water resistant. I walk my 17 month old Chocolate Lab in all weather at least 1 time, about 1.7 miles. In better weather twice or more per day. The shoes with orthotics feel tight, like I should have gotten a 10 1/2 wide. Overall very comfortable, nice for my situation. Previously have purchased Oboz, Vasque hiking shoes, the quality of both have been inconsistent and my wife who has multiple pairs of Hoka, suggested them for me.

Love the shoes, and very comfortable but too narrow. I'm hoping in time it may stretch out a bit, but only time will tell.

The extended bottom looks odd, but this trail shoe is great for hiking. I have significant foot problems (hallux rigidis) but these Hokas keep my feet happy for miles. No other brand works so well for me.

After previously purchasing a pair of Hoka tennis shoes for all day comfort due to the fact that I'm on cement floors all day, they were extremely comfortable, but the GTX shoes are no where near as comfortable. I've purchased another pair of Hoka tennis shoes as the GTX will only be used when working outside doing snow removal.

In general, I love the fit of these. My favorite Hoka boots were the Tor Summit and these are close if not better. I've only put 25 miles or so on them but so far very comfortable, especially when going over rocky surfaces. Soles are nice and grippy too. I haven't done extended downhill yet so I can't vouch for that yet, thought the toe box seems to have plenty of room and the mid foot seems to be held in place well. The only negative is that the supplied laces for my size 14 were too short to tie well. I had to tie tiny bows which is crazy. I run into the same problem with other Hoka boots and have had to buy new laces.

My wife and I recently purchased a pair of the Trail Code GTX. In typically Hoka fashion, the shoes are lightweight and quite comfortable with excellent ankle support. The vibram sole provides great traction. We do have a design flaw issue. The metal backing of the upper lace hooks do not have enough padding to cover it. I improvised by covering the metal backing with 2 layers of moleskin. It appears to be working. Without applying moleskin the exposed metal rubs/irritates the ankle bone.

Please make a mid GTX hiker without the big extended chunk of foam/rubber sticking out the back! Also, when is the Speedgoat 5 Mid GTX releasing (some stores already have photos of it)!?

Trail Code GTX- After my ankle surgery and toe box on the Accuna just didn't work for me. So, I ordered the Trail Code GTX and some adjustment things are going good. Wearing them daily. Better fit.

It looks like this review won't allow me to post a Pic, but they arrived with noticeable creases in the toe area. I wore them 1 time and the creases got worse. I notified Hoka and their return and refund went very smooth.

These weren't available in my normal size so I got a half-size larger, and they still feel pretty tight, but I'm going to keep them and try them on some hikes... Overall the shoe feels pretty good, except for the top lace hook on the inside of the right boot seems to be creating a pressure point on my right ankle bone, I'm trying to make sure everything is adjusted when I laced it up and hopefully it will get better, or maybe I'll try adding some extra padding... Because of the Hoka design these shoes seem really big, I feel like I'm walking around in clown shoes, the Hoka's are at least 1.5 inches longer than other hiking boots of the same size..
