Everyday walking and uneven surfaces

I needed hiking shoes because I'm going on a multi day hiking trip in the fall. I have been wearing the Bondi 8 for my daily walks but wanted something with ankle support and water resistant. I'm happy to say these Trail code GTX shoes are perfect. Since these shoes don't come in wide sizes I ordered the men's shoe in a size 7. I normally wear a women's size 8. I'm prone to blisters when I wear new shoes but I didn't have that problem with these because the fit was so similar to my Bondi 8s. Thanks Hoka for not disappointing! Please consider having this shoe in wide in women's sizes.

I was skeptical about these shoes but thought I would give them a try. Once I put them on right out of the box they were the most comfortable thing I've ever worn. I didn't take them off the rest of the day. Lightweight hiker style shoe with superior support and cushioning. Highly recommend.

Fantastic hiking boot. Extremely comfortable and perfect level of support. Recently used them for about 30 miles of hiking over 4 days. Feet felt great afterwards. No blisters or soreness. They run a little hot on the feet but it wasn't very noticeable during hikes.

These are the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn, period! It's like walking on pillows. And they're very light weight, like a slipper. Great traction too. I'm already looking at buying another pair.and another.and another

I wear them for work. I replaced the insoles, as they were not very supportive on my arch.

My husband is on his feet for his entire 8 hour shift. Since he switched to the Hoka boots, his feet haven't gotten wet in the snow or rain. His knee no longer bothers him and his feet are comfy.

The shoes are just perfect for my feet. Stable and very light. I did not feel any pain after using them from my hiking trips. I would recommend them to any avid hikers.

The shoes grip is awesome very comfortable to walk in all day. I'm a carpenter and needed something that could be very versatile as we walk on sand, concrete, dirt, roofs, and on joist and top plates. And I'd say I'm pretty impressed. I've only had them for about a month but I put in 12 hours a day walking in them and they are very durable. They haven't cracked or ripped so I'm satisfied customer.

I work as a mail carrier and average 170,000 steps a week and it's very difficult to find shoes that hold up to that kind of schedule, but Hoka brand shoes have not only held up, they are quite comfortable as well!! These boots kept my feet dry and cozy this whole winter season and I know I'll be buying more shoes like this one again.

True to size. Comfortable.

I picked a size down (9.5) from my normal (10) based on another pair of hoka's I bought and the 9.5 fits me great.

Incredibly comfortable and supportive. I deliver packages all day and they're the perfect blend for all terrain and still handling high impact and fast movements.

Was in Colorado for a vacation, snow and ice conditions. These hikers performed perfectly. Comfortable and waterproof, great traction.

Very comfortable shoe

I really like these for hiking. They don't seem to be quite as cushy in the heel as my speedgoat 5's but they are still very comfortable, I've hiked through lots of puddles and even tested dunking most of my shoe underwater and they have kept my feet totally dry. One fit note, I'm size 11 wide in speedgoat 5's, yet interestingly in these trail code GTX I'm a size 10.5, which feels wide enough for me. Size 11 was just a bit too big, 10.5 might be a tiny bit snug but hasn't been uncomfortable at all even on a recent backpacking trip. Happy I found these as they fit way better and more comfortably than Hoka's other mid GTX hiking shoes. I see the Speedgoat 5 Mid GTX is coming soon, which sounds ideal if they had a wide size, but I'm super happy with these shoes and recommend them!

Love these shoes. quick break-in period. Very comfortable work shoes. On my fee 12 hrs a day, still comfortable at quitting time.

I'll used the shoes for daily wear and I'm not a hiker but for comfortable & softness it make my feet so cozy .

I walk three miles plus a day on a dirt/stone road. Shoes function as expected. My third Hoka pair, first of this model. I find construction to be good. Shoes upper last until the soles get worn out. I do not wear the shoes past a reasonable amount of wear for my foot's sake. Overall pleased and will purchase again in a month or two.
