The laces come off hooks at top 30 times a day SO I NO LONGER WEAR OWN LOTS OF YOUR SHOES BUT THESE ARE NOT WEARABLE

The extended heel is very painful on the hips. It changes your gait so you hit your heel first. Also the extended heel is treacherous when descending stairs. These boots only come in Men's Wide, so if you are a Medium width, you will be cinching up the toe area, leading to wrinkles that may be a problem in the future.

I hiked twice with them on. Felt no appreciable difference between this shoe and my old Keens. Love to get my money back but the 30 days are up.

Received Trail code GTX and top lace guide was off the shoe in the box. Extremely bad first impression for such an expensive shoe. Be wary of the Quality control of Hoka. Shame as this was the first HOKA shoe I decided to purchase for the price. Sent shoe back same day. No response for HOKA customer service on any of this, by the way.
