I returned these shoes due to color did not match picture, picture shows black with orange and a little gray, the shoes I received were light gray with a little orange and hardly no black.

The boots are surly not designed for hiking. They look good but lack the comfort and durability needed for a serious hike.

One of the worst pair of Hoka's I have had. They caused blisters in a number of places. Even had to be doctor treated. Stay away from this style .

I work in ops an logistics and am on my feet 8 to 10 hrs a day and rack up over 10k in steps on my tracker. I'm not required to wear safety toe shoes in this new company so figured I would get a new pair of Hoka trail boots since I have been super happy with my Clifton 9's. I picked out the Trail code GTX in Slate/Oat Milk - and after the first week in them I noticed a slight burning on the outside of my right foot. I was thinking it was a break in period, but it would just get worse. After about a month in them, I had developed an aggravated tailor's bunion where the burning pain was. After a few weeks of podiatrist visits where the Dr placed the blame on the shoes and anti inflammatory med it is almost back to normal. Needless to say the Trail Codes are on the shelf since they are out side of the return policy.

I was beyond excited to receive my Hokas as I've heard only good things. I wore them for 2 hours and had bruises on my ankles. The metal coupler inside the shoe that holds the shoelace on the outside was literally digging into my ankles causing harm. Customer service was less than helpful. Basically told me to just return them. So that's what I did. I definitely do no not recommend these shoes or this company to anybody.

The speedgoat 5's are super comfortable, but these are awful. I can't wear them because they are so uncomfortable! I had high expectations, but these are not at all what I had hoped.

I had high hopes for this product, but I am sorry to say it did not meet my needs due to the size and fit. To clarify, I accepted the suggested fit the system gave me which lead to the wrong product being sent. in conjunction, the product wasn't manufactured in what in the particular width I needed.

Falling apart. Poorly made not typical of Hoka. Seams coming apart and not the comfort level of other hokas purchased before. Quality not there either also not typical

I'm so disappointed in this purchase I will be returning them. Bought on-line so I was going by pictures when I got the shoes I noticed that they looked like a cheap plastic shoe. The right one has a bubble TJ the top of the toe area.

While these are comfy and would otherwise be my go-to hiking boot, the toe started peeling in the first 10 miles. The rubber grip on the bottom was peeling soon thereafter. Ive got 35 miles tops in them and they are already unusable.

Hoka double-charged me on my last order. Sent me a 20% off coupon which I used on this Trail Code GTX. Received the shoes, they fit very big, much longer than the running shoes. I tried to exchange and get the 20% applied to the exchanged, more expensive shoe, and Hoka says they cannot do that. Sooo, my only option is to return these shoes, hopefully get my money back, but in the end, I was not able to use the 20% coupon for a pair of shoes that are usable at my house, wasted a lot of time, and have no hiking shoes to show for it. Hoka's solution was to take my original discounted price, apply that to the higher full price, and charge me the difference, essentially doing a bait-and-switch on the offered discount because I would end up paying full price on the new pair, even though I was trying to spend more money at the company. Great business practices!

Contacted customer service twice to ask about this shoe in both women's and men's. I asked if the men's were made wider and the answer was yes. I asked if I ordered the recommended men's 7.5 would it be the same as a women's 9 Wide and the answer was yes. So, I ordered the men's and when I received them, they were not any wider than the women's regular width. I loved the color and style and wanted them for my vacation, but i had to return them since they didn't fit. I wear orthotics so, I need a wide shoe in order for the shoe to be comfortable. I was REALLY disappointed with the incorrect information that I received. Had I known the width was the same for a man as a woman, I would not have wasted my time. I WOULD ORDER THIS SHOE AGAIN, IF IT WAS AVAILABLE IN A WIDE!! MORE WIDE VARIETIES, PLEASE!!!

How do I return these? They were highly recommended though don't fit. There was no invoice in the box when delivered; no return policy; no telephone #. I just want a refund and possibly start over.

Laces that come with shoes are barely long enough to tie which restricted the ankle area since I had to tie so tight with little shoe lace I had. The shoe is very uncomfortable. Not wide enough for me. Very narrow in toe area.

Shoes came in a timely manner. Very light weight. The best part of shoes are the soles. Upper portion appeared to not be made for durability. Shoes fit. However, not designed to hold the ankle well unless tied uncomfortably tight. Right shoe had a defect along the outside edge which caused immediate discomfort along the edge of my foot between small toe and instep. Too bad they had very stable sole structure and ultra light weight.

There's a big gap between the foot compartment and the sole. I can't wear them anymore because I don't know how long it'll be before it falls off while I'm working. These things are easy on the pockets either. Definitely not the quality I was expecting.

I bought them to replace the Speedgoat Mid 2 GTX, which I love. What I did not like about the Trail Code was the top 2 lace hooks design. When you go to secure the snug tie around the top that hugs the angle bone, ALL YOU FEEL IS THE METAL INSIDE BACKING OFF THOSE LAST 2 LACING HOOKS. For me, DEAL BRAKER. If you combined the best parts of the 2 I'd but 3 pairs right now.
