I was really looking forward to these shoes. In concept just what I need. So disappointed. Sizing chart said they should be a normal fit. They were sooo narrow they hurt. Length wise more than enough room so a 9 would not be a good fit. If they weren't so expensive I would have tried to break them in but worried the Gore Tex would not stretch. 2 stars only because I had to return them. Never put the second shoe on so can't really rate them.

The shoe looks good and the sole is comfortable but is too narrow. Wide version would be great. Two stars only because they didn't fit and needed to be returned.

I was disappointed my shoes are all grey with no black like the picture. It's not the same at all but it's all right I probably won't buy again though.

I used these primarily as work shoes in a warehouse. Bought them in January had to throw them out in October. Both soles were coming apart on the bottom within a few months. For how expensive these are I really thought they would last longer. They do work well for their intended purposes such a hiking. The shoe laces are very good on these however and seem to stay tied much longer then other hiking boots i've had. Also the stock photo is not a accurately description of what the shoe actually looks like. Its much lighter in grey.

Trying to move on from Altra shoes that I have become disappointed with I wanted to try Hoka. I was surprised to find they are made of similar synthetics and run very narrow and big. If a wide size was available another1/2 size smaller I may have re-ordered but alas it was not so I refunded my purchase.

I've used this boot on two 10 mile hikes. Already the rubber tread on the soles is falling apart. Whatever material they used is not durable so sadly, this will be a warranty return.

I bought this boot thinking it would be wide enough. It felt great for the first hour I wore them. My left foot began hurting and I realized the boot is too narrow. So if you have semi wide feet you make need to look else where. It appears they Don't make a wide boot. Be safe!

I love HOKA and have owned several pairs. Not sure if it's the material these are made of but they make a lot of popping and flopping sounds when I walk. I returned the first pair in hopes that the second pair would be better but they made the same noise. I returned those for a different shoes and the return process for the third pair seems to be moving slowly. Not sure if it's a USPS issue but we'll see

I'm a mailman and walk about 6 miles 5 days a week. After talking to a few coworkers who had other models and things I read online i finally decided to buy a pair. I chose these because the ankle support, non leather, and water proof. I bought them in January had to swap sizes and then set them aside for a few weeks to not wear them as the weather was still pretty crappy. I've been wearing them for about 5 months. Everything lived up to the hype minus the quality. The sole and the treads are two separate pieces of rubber. The treads on the sides of shoes are chipping off or barely hanging on. Big bummer because everything else was good about these shoes.

This model is too narrow for a wider foot. I wore them for about 2 hours and my feet were falling asleep. Very sad because I love the look and the company. I will have to try a different style.

I went for a 7 mile hike. I could feel a little discomfort on my right ankle from the very start. The support around the ankle is stitched in that area and rubbed until my ankle bled. I tried tightening the upper part to see if the rubbing would stop, but it didn't. The shoe size fits as expected. I like the weight and the tread, but will go back to the Speed Goat high tops.

This boot didn't feel as good as my Mafate Speed 4, my Stinson Mid, or my Annapurna low. It seemed a little too big. I would like an ankle high, day hiker with Goretex and vibram. This shoe wasn't it. Underwhelming

I purchased these as someone that plays a lot of disc golf and spends a lot of time in the woods. This holes are very cheap and do not hold up. I sent my first pair back after 3 months, only to get my second pair and them only last a month. The souls come unglued on the edges. They need to be a solid soul to last for a while. The shoes themselves are very comfortable they just don't last.

Very comfortable shoe. If you are going to use it for everyday use then yes buy it. But for hiking do not they will fall apart. I had them for 3 weeks went on like 2 hikes and after that the sole was ripping off from the shoe. It's shameful that it is labeled a hiking shoe but the quality and durability was awful.

I've had the hikers for almost 3 months for work. Already the treads are peeling off the sole.
Now i have to find another pair of boots, and the return process through text messaging is incredibly frustrating.
Sizes run smaller than advised on website.
Will not purchase any more products from this company.....really bad experience.

The Lace hooks on the sides catch stray laces. I noticed this happening and it was strong enough to pull our the knot on the other shoe. This morning while through a crowd I had to take small steps where the shoes were landing pretty close to each other. I had my laces double knotted, and that what did me in. I the lace caught the lace hook of the other shoe and I fell. If I had been doing elevation hiking or in less forgiving environments, this could've cause a serious injury or worse. Design is bad for walking in general I'd say.

As an LE officer being on your feet 16 plus hours a day you depend on quality footwear. I bought 2 pairs of HOKA boots after being referred by another officer. The trail code GTX is the second pair. I like to alternate footwear every other day to keep them in good condition. These boots have apx 4 days of use on them and the sides are starting to rip. It's a poor design if you're looking for long lasting boots these are not them. if you trail hike or use them in rough terrain they will fail. try other styles. they are super comfortable just poor quality.
