These mittens are perfect. I have Raynaud's disease so my hands are often numb. The mittens are a wonderful help!

I loved these as gloves don't keep your hands warm. Will make sure I don't lose them for next year. Of course winter isn't done yet.

These mittens are ultra warm and comfortable--not thick and blocky, so you can easily handle small items like car keys without taking them off.

These mittens would be very warm in very cold weather. I had to return mine because even though I ordered a small size, they were a lot too large. I hope to find some that don't run so large.

I bought these on a whim since I was going to the Pats game during the current arctic blast and didn't think my current stable of gloves would do the trick. It was the coldest regular season game ever. While I was a little put out over the price tag ($40 for some mittens!), my hands stayed warm during the entire game plus the walk in/out of Gillette Stadium. Even when I had to pull my hands out of them during the game, as soon as they went back in they warmed them up. Well done LL Bean.

I purchased these mittens to use while walking my dog. They have surpassed my expectations by far! They are so warm....even in the -15 temps of late. Their lightness is surprising but so comfortable! The faux fur is so pretty and I may have to use them for other than walking the dog. Best mittens!

Very warm, comfortable, cozy and more room for your fingers.

I wasn't sure about spending $40 on mittens but I've been very happy with this purchase over the last three winters. The fleece inside is warm and soft and the outer shell keeps the cold out well. If it dips into the low teens and I'll be out for a while, I might use liners, but these mittens are sufficient on their own 95% of the time. They've been reliably warm every day through New England winters.

They were for the wife and she is very happy.

I have been looking for years to find gloves/mittens that actually keep my hands warm and these finally do! The first day I wore them on my walk to work and have never felt so warm and cozy. Definitely recommend.

they are warm, have not had to use the weather below 10 degrees. I like the fact they fit over sleeves of coat so you dont have the cold air going up there

these are WARM! I have small hands and got a small and they fit perfectly. I can't remember the last time I have worn mittens, but I ordered these for a change and they are toasty warm! My only complaint, they did not come in the same color as the coat I ordered, but who cares, they keep my hands nice and warm. If they do happen to come in the spruce green in the future I will just get another pair :) I don't think I have ever bought anything from LL Bean I can say I have been unhappy with.

I gave these mittens to my sister for a birthday gift. She has told me that they are the warmest mittens she has ever owned, will go with all of her outdoor outfits, and she couldn't be more happy!

I just moved to Boston from Florida for grad school and I'm completely ill-equipped for winter. These mittens are my only pair and they are so warm and cozy. I haven't worn them in snow (yet), but when the time comes I think I'll add gloves underneath. An extra plus: it matches the wool-lined cable knit hat and headband set I got!

I really like these mittens. Although we haven't had frigid weather yet, I've worn them at about 30 degrees and found them to be very warm. I think they'll be fine in colder weather. I ordered a large--I often have trouble getting large enough mittens and gloves, but these are perfect. Overall the quality is excellent. I even like the fake fur trim.

Once the temperatures dip below 40 degrees fahrenheit, I need insulated mittens on my 45 minute-hour walks with my dogs. After trying every high-tech glove and mitten out there, these are the best for sustained, insulated warmth. When it gets to be below zero and an extra boost is needed, I throw in a hot pack and that adds to the performance of these gloves. They are the best!

I have wanted these mittens since last year, but I waited and they sold out. Well, well, well, not THIS year! No one else has a lined, fur cuffed, water resistant mitten. All of the fingers together keeps them warmer YIPPIEEEE. These are FABULOUS. I know, I know, they are just mittens, but when you are shoveling snow and your hands get numb from the cold...it's not a good look. Glad I got them!

I spend alot of time outdoors and my hands always freeze and turn blue. I purchased these mittens hoping they would keep my hands warm. So far, they have been great in 30 degree weather. It should get colder this week and that will be the real test. I had no problem with the stitching or design. I even washed them as soon as they arrived. There was no problem when they dried. They do run big! I purchased a medium and I could have worn a small. I also purchased liners for when the temperature gets down into the teens and below, just in case. These are really soft and very comfortable. So far they are doing a great job at keeping my hands warm!!

Bought these to go with the ultra warm coat. I seem to have problems with mittens and gloves that have too tight a wrist and cut off my circulation. These are fine. I have large hands for a woman and the large in these fit fine. The coldest we have had this year is upper twenties so that is all I can attest to so far.Fabric matches the coat of the same name.

Just came back form NYC, with all its rain and cold winds. These gloves were perfect for the outdoors weather. Soft warm and dry.

I wanted something to keep my hands warm and decided to give these mittens a try since they matched the coat I ordered. I ordered medium size and suspect I could have gone down a size, but they are comfortable and very warm. I would definitely recommend these mittens.
