Warmest Pair of Mittens you will ever need ! I love the lining inside ! Have bought them several times over the years - I tend to lose one before they wear out !

Although I have small hands, I bought the medium which gives me extra space and has a comfy feel . They have nice elastic around the wrists and above the wrist. This mitten gives me warm hands and particularly the thumbs down to about 32 degrees which is what I need. It seems wind proof. Some times it may feel a bit cool, yet when you take them off your hands are really warm. I don't truly think these are "ultra warm", but they fit what I need.

My hands are cold in the tropics but these gloves seem to keep them warm even under the coldest conditions. I live in the northern Adirondacks with temperatures frequently below 0. The ultra warm mittens have lived up to their billing and kept my hands warm as toast. Thank you.

The gloves are great! So warm!! I am always worried about stiff gloves but these were so flexible.

I have bought so many mittens searching for the right ones. Finally found these and am so happy with them. They wash up beautifully. I have been using them for weeks and they are just great. I liked them so much that I went back to order another pair but they are sold out. Hope they bring them back next winter because I'll order another.

These look nice with the faux fur cuffs. They are actually very warm, too! And seem to be very windproof. We'll see how they wash, with that trim and all, but so far I am very pleased.

The women's ultra warm mittens in black size large fit true to size, and have kept my always cold hands nice and toasty in the 30s and 20s while outside on mask break/recess with students.They were great for driving as well- not slippery on the steering wheel. I really like that these are washable. Great mittens!!!

Very attractive with the fur cuffs and the stitching adds some additional decorative detail...plus they are warm!

Well made. My former purchases [pink & black] were almost 10 years old and are still in perfect condition. So with the sale and free shipping I decided to get the 3rd color [white]. Very happy!

bought these to go to quebec city for winter carnival knowing it would be very cold. well they did not disappoint! it was 3 degrees during the day and -10 at night and my hands stayed warm the entire time!!

These mittens were just what I was looking for. In my opinion, they would not be warm enough for very cold weather climates, but they are perfect for the winter weather in Maryland. They are water resistant, the fit was good I ordered my normal size and the fur trim makes them look a little dressier than just ski mittens.

I have tried a variety of mittens and gloves to keep my hands warm in the winter. These mittens are by far, the best I have purchased! Walking along the shore of Lake Michigan, I like to pick up beach glass (and plastic). I can easily take my hand out of the mitten, pick up the glass and put it in a bag, then put my hand back in my mitten. Quickly, my hands are snuggly warm! Thank you L.L. Bean!

I always buy a pair of mittens each winter because mittens are thought to be warmer than gloves because your fingers are together inside. These mittens are warm and exceptionally stylish with the fur trim. And even though they are puffy, it is easy to derive and do other things because my hands can get a good grip with these mittens. I highly recommend them.

I searched for gloves and mittens to use when walking my dog. These turned out to be better than I expected. I find them very warm and the nylon shell keeps out the wind. I am glad I tried them!

These mittens are warm and comfortable. I frequently wear them running and cross-country skiing, and they keep me warm even when temperatures are down to 0 degrees Fahrenheit. They are wind-proof and not bulky. I have only two recommendations. First, it would be nice if they had a drawstring so they could be pulled and closed more tightly over the wrist. Second, I ordered the white mittens, and they have stained black from my ski poles and/or steering wheel. So if you are going to be doing activities where these mittens rub on other surfaces, I would recommend getting a darker color.

I bought these several years ago and love them. They are very warm and comfortable and just kind of fun. I always enjoy wearing them.

I live in Wisconsin where it gets extremely cold. These mittens are not for below 0 days, I use them in the just around freezing range. They are lightweight and easy to wear. The reason that I'm writing this review is that my non-verbal 9 year old autistic grandson loves them. For years, he has refused to leave any mittens on his hands, they come off as quickly as we put them on. Until this year when we tried these mittens on him. He leaves these on! Now he can go sledding and be outside in the winter without his hands taking cold damage. I'm so grateful that he has mittens he will wear now.

I love these mittens! We're in the middle of a big November snow storm and bitter cold snap, so I was able to use these a couple of months before planned. They're really warm. My size is between M and L, but I ordered the L. It's good having a bit of space between the end of the mitten and my fingertips. Learned years ago that a bit of room can make a lot of difference in performance.

THEY ARE WARM SOFT AND LIGHT WEIGHT. MY FINGERS FREEZE IN THE WINTERTIME. I ALSO BOUGHT THE HAT . IT IS WARM COVERS THE EARS. VERY SOFT, COMFORTABLE.

These mittens measure up to the excellent quality that I expect from LL Bean. They are warm and they are stylish!

Warm and light-weight mittens that wear well.

I now have periwinkle and white mittens to go with the matching 3/4 coat and short jacket. They are the best mittens ever, as warm and cozy as your coats and jacket. Quality is definitely 5 star as always.

These mittens were purchased for my daughter. She advised me that the size was fine and they kept her hands nice and warm in the extreme cold weather.

These mittens are fantastic. Soft, warm and fashionable. I bought them. My sister bought them. Then I bought them as gifts for other friends. Love them when I walk. You do not think about the cold new england weather at all when you have these on. I found them spacious as well so you can possibly go down a size from what you usually take.
