These mittens are very warm. Helps me a lot during the winter time when my fingers get too dry and start cracking. I have large hands, thus I ordered large, but it seems a little bigger than expected. Not really a problem so I have kept them, but if you want a snugger fit, I would order a smaller size than what you think you hands size is.

I got these for my daughter, who has Raynaud's, and she still had cold, white fingers after wearing them.

I bought these gloves and the coordinate with the coat they are shown with in the catalog quite well. Definately warm enough, but not waterproof and not made for shoveling, ect. Very cute and quality.

I live in Alaska.
These kept me warm all last winter even when hiking in -30 and lower temps.
I love that they are very long, so there is enough room inside to move fingers around.
But there's also a downside to this- don't expect your hands to have any sort of functionality inside these. Trying to tighten a hood or zip a coat with these on is next to impossible.
I have found that they are also too tight on the wrist.
This winter I have really put them to the test, and sadly they have failed. I took them out on a snowmachine this weekend, and even with glove liners, my hands were freezing!
I also wore them to a football game where I sat for 4 hours in 0 degree temps. If I didn't have handwarmers I think my fingers would have fallen off.
So, in conclusion, they are warm. But not ultrawarm.

Haven't had a chance to wear them at its full potential as they were purchased later in the winter season, however, during a recent walk encountering one of our winter blasts my hands felt warmer than the gloves which I usually wore during one of these adventurous walks.

I do love these mittens (especially the furry cuffs, which block drafts very effectively) and they are warmer than my last pair, but they are not as super-warm as I'd hoped. I wish the quilting was a little thicker. The fleece lining is very soft and cozy though.

My fingers always got cold when we took our long daily winter walks. At my husband's urging, I ordered mittens.
These ultrawarm mittens are the answer to my problem. My fingers stay really warm and cozy. The fur makes them very attractive and an added plus, they bring back memories of wearing mittens as I walked to grade school!

The mittens are warm and I like the material and the fact that they match my deep raspberry down filled jacket I bought from LL Bean last year..The only thing I could complain about is the cuff could be a little shorter--I cannot fit the fur part over the sleeves of the jacket so I have to kind of scrunch the jacket sleeves..

I live in Michigan where the winters have been cold and snowy lately. These mittens keep my hands very warm while shoveling the driveway without being bulky. I bougt a size smaller then usual and they fit just fine.

I ordered these in the raspberry in a medium according to measurement instructions. I have very large hands, usually get a large. I received these and they were huge! I had a good 2" in the finger length. Exchanged for the small.
The color isn't as nice, bright and crisp either. It's a drabber, darker color. Waiting for my new ones in paperwhite.
Very warm, fur looks real.

These are nice gloves and just as warm as promised. However, they are a little large.

These mittens are great, very warm. Unforunately, I had to return them because I ordered mediums and they were very large. Small in brown was already sold out, so I was out of luck. Too bad, I bought them to match a coat I purchased.

The mittens are great, very comfortable and toasty warm! The sizes run VERY large. I originally picked out a large pair, but the small fit perfectly.

These mittens look great and are very soft inside. I was looking for a mitten that would keep my fingers from getting cold since I got frost bite many years ago and now have problems with circulation in them. Unfortunately, these didnt help with that problem but still think they are a good mitten for most people.

I bought size L because I have long fingers. These mittens are ridiculously long, leaving a lot of space between my fingertips and the edge of the mittens.
But what really bothered me was the elastic at the wrists. It was much too tight, to the point of being painful. I have slender wrists, and health care folks taking my pulse have mentioned this numerous times. So I will get out my seam ripper from my sewing box and try to figure out how to remove some of the elastic.

These mittens are nice for above 32 , not bulky, very pretty. But not warm for northern Michigan. I have very cold hands and was hoping these were the mittens to keep my fingers from going numb but no luck, still need hand warmers with these. Very disappointed.

These mittens are the best BUT...I ordered 2 pairs and the elastic at the wrist was way to tight. I am thin and these were like child size wrist openings. Sent them back and ordered two more .... one pair had elastic opening that was acceptable and the other too tight! Please note that I had ordered two pairs a couple years ago and they were wonderful fit well and warm. Really disappointed with the newer ones construction.

I loved these mittens at first, but after I had them on for about thirty minutes I realized my wrist and hands ached from the very tight elastic at the top. I'm a pretty slender 125lb person so if they hurt my wrists I imagine they'd be very uncomfortable for anyone whose frame is larger than mine. Order up a size for sure!

I was disappointed with the warmth. I will keep them but will not wear them in very cold/damp conditions.

I wore these gloves for the 1st time in 38 degree weather, while walking my dog and again today when the temperature was 34 degrees. My fingers and thumb got cold, not terrible but I was only out for about 30 minutes. I expected gloves from LLBean to do better in the cold.

Without a doubt, these mittens keep my hands and wrists warm and toasty. But just be aware that the fabric is quite slippery and does not grip well to things such as steering wheels or shovel handles. Also, I am forever having to pull off tiny pieces of white fuzz -- not sure if the fabric is pilling or just what the issue is, but it rapidly looked not so dressy.

Nice quality glove, but loose elastic on cuff. I was afraid they would not stay on my hands.
