Love these mittens -warm & lightweight!

hello, my new mittens are very nice. they fit comfortably and are going to be nice in our below zero temperatures in upper michigan.

Love these mittens. They fit will and are really warm and they match my bomber hat and coat - so I look coordinated!

I got these last year as a chistmas gift from my husband. I am a person who is never warm. I wear layers indoors. These mitts are amazing I can hike with the dogs in -15 and my hands are nice and warm with nothing on them but these mitts! These will be great for my 12 year old daughter who stands around at recess. I can't say enough how much I love them!

Soft inside and are long enough to cover the wrists and not leave a gap between mitts and jacket sleeve

These mittens are very comfortable, soft, and come up higher than most mittens which I love. I recently was in Europe and I took these mittens with me and it was very windy and I actually couldn't feel any wind getting through them. If you have smaller hands but feel they are average I would recommend going with the small size because I went with medium and they are just a little too long but not too long where I would exchange them.

I bought myself a pair of these mittens last winter along with the long down coat and loved, loved them. Compared to another pair of down mittens I have which were considerably more expensive these are better and these match my new coat. They were nice and roomy, at first I though they were too big, but my hands get really cold and so on those days when waking my dog I put a pair of lighter leather gloves on inside them and they kept my hands warm (this is a first!). When just running errands, or if its not super cold I just wear the mittens alone. After one winter of wearing them all the time they still look like brand new. I love the fur trim.

Warm mittens but very tight on my wrists. I also have small wrists. It will keep the snow out.

Nice mittens. Good for weather as low as 30 degrees. Not warm enough for colder weather. I needed a large which is unusual for me.

Used these mittens to shovel snow and they kept my hands warm.

Attractive but not as warm as described , a soft Sherpa lining would help

Soft and warm, very nice for our cold weather here in CO! I bought size S and was worried that they might be too tight, but luckily, they stretched just a bit and fit perfect.

For me the gloves felt a little bit small and I wish they would've been a bit warmer.

While these mittens are warm and comfy they aren't appropriate for temperatures in the single digits. I am a year round hiker/walker and was looking for something a bit warmer for those cold New England days. I'll still use them but only when the temperature is above freezing .

Cute and pretty warm. I definitely have warmer ones but they are not cute! True to size.

These are nice mittens, but I wouldn't describe them as "ultra" warm: they aren't really heavy, but I find that if I am wearing a glove liner, they are much more toasty when I am outdoors with my dog (the liner then allows me to take off the mitten when I need to pick up after him and still have something on my hands for 10 seconds)

Women's ultrawarm mittens are light weight. Weather was cold but wind chills not below zero. The mittens did provide comfort from the cold but will see how they are below the extreme winds

These mittens are adorable but I'll agree with other reviewers who say they're not super warm. I can wear them on walks on cold days but they wouldn't work for serious cold...like out snowshoeing. I still like them but would have loved them if they were warmer.

These mittens fit well and they are really stylish. I thought they would be warmer. Fortunately, I can wear them with liners and they do the job for walks and being outdoors for a short time.

These were a gift from my husband. I always use the slinky, cheap knit gloves and can never make it an entire sledding session with my kids because my hands get so cold! I tested these gloves out this week and they are the winner! My hands were warm the entire time!!

The best mittens I have ever had. They keep my hands nice and warm when my husband and I go for a walk very early in the morning. I think they will be great for shoveling snow. I would have given them a five star because I love them but I am getting pilling in the palms of my mittens. Many reviews said they were not well made but they are. I know LL Bean would let me return the mittens but I haven't had a pair that kept my hands as warm as these do!

These mittens are beautifully made, soft and extremely warm. However, they are too large, even though I measured my hand according to the size chart. Also, they have no material on the palms for gripping, which makes them not very good for driving. I could have returned them, but I needed them right away, and I was afraid that one size down would be too small. Their best quality is their warmth. My fingers stay warm even on the coldest (minus temps) days.

These mittens are the warmest ones I have ever experienced. The fur cuff keeps out drafty winds. The "finger" area is a bit long for my hands. Perhaps my hands are shorter than most. Also the elastic is not tight enough for me but may be great for other medium hands. I just put a rubber band around the wrist to compensate.

I've finally found something that keeps my hands warm when I do my long A.M. walk. I can put my hand warmers down inside and keep nice and toasty. Really like 'em. I'd give them 5 stars, and frankly it's really not Beans fault anyway, but they're pretty loose on my hands. I purchased size M, after measuring my hand. I think they just run generously big. Always appreciate good quality products from Bean.
