I like the style of these mittens with the fur around the edge. They are very roomy. Warm but I don't think they would be great if the temperature was very cold, I used them on a 30ish night.

Not ultra, but still good and warm. Satisfied.

color called paper-white is more yellow than I expected but still pretty. Ordered large, glad that I did. They are roomy but not huge. My hands are maybe a bit longer than average womens hands. These mittens are not stiff, which I appreciate.

Bought these in a medium as I have small hands. Had to reorder in a large. They are very warm and cute. Match my LL Bean coat perfectly.

These mittens get the job done in terms of being waterproof and warm. I put them on to help brush the ice and snow from my car when the temperature was in the negatives, and my fingers stayed nice and dry. That being said, these are really big. I ordered the medium because there was really no sizing info. I wasn't sure if I'd be a small or medium, and figured "how big can a medium be?" Silly me. There's at least 3-4 inches extra around my hand. I didn't want to bother with returning them, instead I just wear my knit gloves underneath them. I'm a ring size 5, so if you're in that size range, go ahead and order the small.

I feel these gloves would be warm, but due to them being too big (even the small, wish they made an xs), had to send back. They felt very comfortable though.

Love these, they are super warm and comfortable and I like the fuzzy cuff. I do wish they came in an XS; the S was still a bit big and I have to take them off when driving.

These mittens are so soft and pretty. They are very light, though. Not ultrawarm. I wear them when I'm driving and running errands. I wouldn't recommend them for anything more than that.

The mittens are warm, although for MN weather in January they are not as ultra warm as I hoped. They are warm enough to work well for quick trips. The only thing I really dislike each time I wear them is that the thumbs are unusually long. I have small hands, so ordered size small as usual, and they fit as expected in every aspect except for the thumbs, which are more than an inch too long - something I have not previously encountered. I do plan to keep the mittens, as they are soft, reasonably warm, and the color matches my coat well.

Nice and warm. At 14 degrees when walking 30 minutes felt slight coolness on fingers but at higher temps very warm.

I really like these mittens and bought them for walking the dog. However, they do run large. My hands are swimming in the smalls. Usually a small is just right for me.

Warmer than wool mittens, the quilting keeps out more of the wind and chill. A bit more filler would have been good for me. Ample sizing and both handsome and practical in Black.

Good sizing and clips help keep them together when not in use; they match my coat perfectly!!! This winter (in NY) wasn't that cold but on the few days when it was, these mittens were good to have. Easy on, easy off; roomy enough for me to slip my Metrocard inside so that I don't have to take the mitten off until I'm inside the bus or subway station. Gloves made the same way would be a nice alternative. Glad I bought them.

While the gloves are not extra warm, they are not bulky so nice for walks and driving. I like them!

I love these mittens. They are nice and warm and comfortable. Only thing is they run very large. I ordered a small and it's still too large for my hand.

These gloves were warm and looked good. They felt comfortable and easy to clean. I lost them, and miss them very much!

The gloves fit very well. I purchased a size medium as a review mentioned that they ran a bit large. Although they are warm, they still cannot withstand a 40 minute walk in Chicago blustery weather. Hands still get a bit cold.

As all others have reviewed these and found that they run on the large side, I'm here to say that yes they do! I normally wear a Medium size, however these fit perfectly in a Small size. Like the matching jacket, I was hoping that these would be a bit fuller with down and warmth; they would be nice to wear while shopping in town or driving around, but they are not thick or warm enough for the real cold winter weather, outdoors.

I purchased these mittens to go along with the bomber hat for my daughter. She absolutely loves them as much as she loves the hat. They are warm and look great.

This was a gift item. The lady receiving the mittens was excited to get them for her uocoming trip to New York in December. I was concerned about the fit because reading other reviews stating they were sized larger then expected. This did not seem the case with this gift. If they don't perform well in New York's cold weather I will let you know.

I'm not sure I understand how anyone can fear gloves but in this case LL Bean wins the day. My girlfriend admitted a fear of wearing gloves. I bought her two pair. She would not wear the gloves but the mittens won out. She says her mittens are so warm her hands start to sweat- for someone with anemia this is good. Thank you to whomever designed these.

The mittens were as expected. However, they run big. Unfortunately, had to send back.
