Ordered the Therapeutic Dog Couch, great product quality is top notch. My 80 pound Rotti loves her bed. She loves to lay her head on the pillow which is nice and full. The material on the outer bedding is extremely durable. I highly recommend.

Thank you LL Bean for such a quality product. I have spent too much money on "imposters" already! My 8yr old doggie is resting so peacefully on this couch in the evenings during TV time, I bought her another one for the master bedroom to sleep on during the night. I call this bed "Rubi's Tempur-pedic". She no longer wakes up stiff & achy from laying on our wood floors. She is 70lbs and the large couch has enough room for her to roll over on her back.

I make log dog beds so I have purchased many of these beds. Great product! Our dog Hanna loves hers!

I originally bought the XL premium dog bed. My dog is 130lbs. It was way too big and too fluffy (felt like an air pillow or water bed). So I returned it for the Large Therapeutic bed and I am glad I did. The large is a little short when lying on his back, but when he sleeps, he sleeps curled on his side and uses the couch part as a pillow. Both beds are made of high quality materials. I guess it's just what your preference is.

Cat loves it. Perfect size for him. Little rim around edge gives him a place to lay his head and watch tv as well as snooze. Easy to assemble [even without reading instructions]. Material is sturdy. I have not washed it yet but I do not anticipate any issues.

The bed required a little assembly but was easy to do with the provided instructions. It's well made and seems like it will be durable. Most importantly, it's approved by my 7 year old 60 pound Springer Spaniel.

Have purchased several LL Bean dog beds in the past - all of which have been great - high quality. Purchased this therapeutic bed when my big yellow lab was recovering from TPLO surgery. Great quality - I do believe it helped his recovery - great support,roomy and comfortable. I recommend this bed very highly!

Great quality bed, provides good support and room for dog to stretch out or curl up. Side inserts are a bit challenging to position.

Bolsters are so big my 44 lb border collie cannot stretch out in it.

Putting the bolsters in are the hardest part of bed assembly but not terribly hard. Definitely recommend getting a waterproof cushion cover. My dog was in it and stretched out as soon as I put it on the floor and loves it! The bed is well made with sturdy material unlike what you find in pet stores and well worth the price.

Not the easiest to take apart to clean but our boy loves it while recuperating from surgery.

We love the bed but I really believe for the price that it should be delivered COMPLETELY ASSEMBLED!!!! I am 70 yrs old and it is extremely difficult to assemble something like this bed.

Great dog bed, very comfortable. However, there needs to be zipper compartments to get the side pieces back in as intended. Trying to push the sides back in has been a wrestling match and the corners are now not filled in appropriately

Wish there was a therapeutic mattress for a round dog bed. This one works but feel she would benefit from more support.

So a relative of mine bought this bed for my dog. The bed overall is really good. The mattress has been holding up well for my two over 50lb dogs. The cover itself is also very good and durable. Two minor issues. One: Its a real pain in the butt to take off to wash let alone put back on. I don't understand with they don't have a zipper all the way around to just place the mattress on the cover and zip it up completely. Instead, it becomes a real struggle to put the mattress back in let alone the side cushions. Yes, I'm familiar with the instruction that it came with but I think it could be done much more efficiently. Two: I have to insert a few potty pads in case there's an accident. I was unaware there's a mattress protective cover that Bean sells but its pretty pricey. A suggestion would be to offer it at 50% discount with you purchase the bed, like an add on. Give the buyer an opportunity to save some money when they purchase this already expensive bed. If the buyer decides to opt out of the savings for a mattress cover well that's on them. Those are my only two small issues. Other than that, the bed is actually very good.

This bed is extremely comfortable for my 2 Great Danes. I like that they have 3 sides that the dogs can curl up in and one side they can hang their heads out of. The material is durable. The only frustration I have is that they are hard to get the covers off to clean them. It would have helped to have the zipper on more sides to be able to pull the bulsters out instead of having to shove them inside. Same for zipper on only one side. That is my only constructive criticism.

Prior reviews shared that this was hard to put together. It took us less than 10 minutes and was easy if you followed the instructions! I could have done it by myself.

It sometimes takes a while for your dog to get used to a change like this but ours seems to like it just fine now

We got our people couch reupholstered so we needed Penny to have her own couch. She is a 60lb pit bull terrier so we debated between medium and large. The large allows her to really spread out though it does take up a lot of floor space. We liked the denim cover because she paws her other beds. I haven't seen that so much with this foam bed. I haven't washed this yet so that will be an adventure.

No doubt this is a great dog bed. I tried it out. If I had gotten the extra large, I might sleep on it. Assembling the dog bed was as bad as mentioned in the reviews. I exhausted my extension lexicon of curse words during and after the assembly process. My dogs are probably nastier than what most people will tolerate. At one week the bed was completely furry and becoming nastier daily. I got this for my old brown dog and she was madly in love with it. I hesitated to make her do without it for the laundering process. Enter the replacement cover. I switched the stuffing to the new cover. As the new cover is getting dirtier and dirtier I realize there is just no way that I can re-stuff that cover every week or two. It really is difficult. I can sew, but this is a couch style dog bed and I can't imagine making a fitted cover. I decided to try making a giant pillowcase from old sheets. This turned out so much better than I would have ever imagined. I made it a few inches longer and wider than the bed measurements and slipped the bed into it like stuffing a pillowcase with a pillow. Once the dog laid down on it, the fabric conformed to the bolsters. I think that I will line the next one with an old water proof mattress pad. This has made me extremely happy and since the bed is big enough to snuggle both my dogs at once, I have two extremely happy dogs

This is a very substantial dog bed that will probably last a long time. Our senior dog wasn't interested in it because he prefers his old, run-down bed, but our younger dog was ecstatic about this bed. We returned it because it was intended for the senior pup. Hopefully your dog will give it a chance and enjoy it for years!

First, I really wanted to give this dog bed 5 stars but I couldn't. Frankly, it's a great dog bed, but what it lacks is easy accessibility to put on and take off the bed cover. It's a pain in the butt. There should be more zippers to make putting the cushion in and out of the cover much easier. Second, the cost of the best can be a bit hard to swallow. It is expensive... But overall if you wanna splurge on your dog I would recommend this dog bed. Both my dogs lay in it and love it. Especially when our fireplace is on.

Wishing Tasha would snuggle in. She just doesn't appear to choose this as her favorite place yet. I've found it comfy and cozy and continue to encourage her to explore this new bed. Even tucking treats in the corners doesn't keep her interested. Will keep trying!

My 10 yr old schnauzer is starting to feel her age. She loves being on this mattress. It is worth the struggle and frustration of getting the pads into the cover
