I couldn't wait to get my plush throw. I put it in the washing machine and then the dryer. I took it out of the dryer and there were little balls all over it. It's so nappy! I would send it back but it's so much trouble and I bet it would cost to mail it back. Never again! I am very disappointed in the LL Bean. I would give it a zero score if I could it's not even a one.

Just received throw which I then washed and dried in accordance with instructions.Throw pilled and shed badly, and it cannot be used. Have never had an issue with L.L. Bean products, and I think highly of the company. Unfortunately, this throw does not meet L.L. Bean standards.

We received this blanket as a Christmas gift. It is monogrammed. Thee softest blanket ever. Considered buying each of the grandchildren one until I washed mine. OMG, what a mess, it sheds so badly. A lint brush won't even help remove the balled up fibers. Anyone who raves about this blanket has obviously not washed theirs.

The Wicked Plush Throw Extra Large that I purchased is pilling along the edges of the throw and it leaves lint on any of the clothes I wear when I'm wrapped up in the throw. I have washed it three times, and meticulously followed the washing instructions, but pilling and lint still resulted. I also own the Sherpa Throw and it doesn't pill or leave lint on my clothes. I was looking for a lighter summer throw which is why I purchased the Wicked Plush Throw The size, weight and color are good, but the pilling and lint situation sadly make it unusable.

Read a lot of reviews saying it shedded, but a few said it didn't if washed correctly. Followed the washing instructions and air dried it, and it still sheds all over. My black pants and and white sheets were covered in a matter of a day. Will be returning, avoid if shedding would bother you

I purchased this in Dec 23. Love the feel and color. Washed on delicate and dried on delicate. After a month, started finding little red balls of fabric on every synthetic textile surface, in the dryer, on the wool dryer balls. So, have put the blanket away and hope to eventually wash the red balls out of all the my clothing.

I purchased 3 in Charcoal Grey Heather 2 Large & 1 Extra Large for my son and he washed and dried 2 of them and what a mess lint all over just keeps coming. I also bought 2 in woodsmoke color and these didn't have any problems. I still have 1 large charcoal grey Heather that has not been used.

Fine until you wash it. The lint never stops getting all over everything no matter how many times it is washed and dried.

I'm SO disappointed in LLBean. My green throw COVERED everything I washed it with in lint. I had to throw away two pairs of socks, and I spent a long time using a lint brush over and over to remove the green lint from some bath towels and other laundry. I went back and read other one-star reviews, and LOTS of people had the same experience. LLBean, why didn't you stop selling these until you could fix the problem? This amount of lint can ruin washers and dryers--not to mention other clothing. I'm a huge LLBean fan and have written many glowing reviews, and I hesitated to even write this review, but I'm hoping to save other people the miserable experience I've had. I did wash iit twice by itself before washing it with other clothing, by the way. And I will be returning this in person.

Perfect for anyone .. I brought 7 for my Grandchildren .. and monogramed !!! ages 7- 21 years old ! Now for my Husband .. everyone very pleased

This throw was so soft and nice until washed and dried. When I took it from dryer, it was so full of pills and loose lint that I couldn't get it clean. I ended up throwing it away!!

I bought this as an extra layer of warmth for our camper. I washed it by itself prior to leaving for a road trip. Everything is covered in fuzz balls. Our bedding and most clothing are such a mess. I washed it again and it seems even worse. It's useless and will be thrown away. Hope I can get the fuzz off of everything when I get home. Huge fail for LLBean.

After washing the blanket it created so much lint and lint balls that stuck to the blanket and everything else I had in the load with it, I could not even use it without getting lint all over. Very disappointed.

Very warm and comfortable but upon washing it shedded and would not get better with dryer sheets in the dryer. Unusable.

Never experienced a blanket that pilled and shed like this one after a single wash. I love fleece and this one is soft out of the box, but turns into something so unpleasant I don't want to use it anymore. Dryer is full of lint, other clothes and sheets layered in pills, and the look of it is like it is self-destructing.

This throw is very highly rated, but I am thoroughly disappointed. Was hoping to find a soft blanket that didn't shed but after 1 wash/dry there are lint balls covering the throw. Extremely disappointed.

I washed and dried before first use and the blanket itself was covered with lint fuzz balls. So is the dryer trap. So is my laundry room floor. So are the blankets themselves. When I tried Customer Service email it deleted my message instead of sending. There are better blankets and better customer service at just about every other company. Shop elsewhere.

At first I loved how soft it was, but after washing it, it won't stop shedding. I'm don't want to use it anymore because of the shedding. I most likely will go into the trash.

This throw arrived and was beautiful and soft. I washed it for use according to the instructions and it was unusable after. The lint that came off it was more than I've ever seen before. It was everywhere. All over my clothes, my couch, the floor, everywhere. The return process is archaic; no bar code and I have print the lable (who has a home printer anymore?) and I have to use the original packaging which is long gone. This has been a terrible experience and I won't be ordering from LL Bean in the future.

While the blanket is very soft and a nice size, it shed terribly after just one wash! I've washed it several times and it will shedding does not stop. Leaves lint/fuzz on furniture and clothes so no longer can use it.

Shed and shed and shed. Not up to usual LLBean's usual quality imho. Returned item.

Sheds everywhere! I've washed the blanket according to the directions 5 times and it's still covered in fluff that comes off everywhere. I contacted customer service twice to ask about a return or refund and have heard nothing back for weeks. This is unusable. I have two others of this same blanket and love them. Very disappointed!

The fabric disintegrates on contact -- very poor quality, does not survive one wash and dry, keeps shedding... wish I did not buy

This is one of the coziest blankets I've ever snuggled up with. It's also the messiest blanket ever. This thing sheds like you wouldn't believe. It's a total mess. I didn't know blankets were capable of creating such debris. My lint brush can't clean it up either. I have to pick up every single fuzz by hand. Also had to take it outside to shake it clean. Too much work for this thing. Absurd.

My rating of this throw is low due to it shedding. We had Christmas guests and how embarrassing it was for our family to be covered in the material. We had washed and dried them before hand and it was still a problem. After complaining I was told it might not stop shedding through several washings and drying. No thank you, I returned them.
