I've been buying these badboys for 15-20 years now. I consistently wear through them (the tread) before they have any other issues. Indoor, outdoor, walking, running, hiking daily use for me, the only other thing i wear are sandals, snow boots, or an old pair of these for rain/ mud/ mowing/ painting.

I have been wearing my recently purchased pair of Men's Trail Model 4 Hiking shoes for about a month now. They fit nicely from when I first put them on. I do a 4 mile walk almost every morning. I'm very pleased with the feel and comfort of these shoes. I highly recommend these shoes.

The best walkers/hikers ever.Solidly built and comfortable.These are my second pair. The first pair hasn't worn out yet. I spilled bbq grease and paint on the first pair, they actually cleaned up really well with some pretty harsh chemicals. So they're tough as well. Fit is true. Reasonably priced.

These shoes were very comfortable right out of the box. I was recently on a weeklong trip to London, involving a lot of walking and these shoes were up to the challenge. Also, my feet stayed dry even walking in the rain.

Good for morning dog walks when there's plenty of moisture on the ground. Excellent grip on various terrain.

Bought these for my husband, mostly because they are a better price than all the Merrill's, Keen's etc he's had over the years. He put them on this morning and wore them all day as we walked around a local fort for hours. He didn't even notice he had new shoes on! They are narrow, he has very narrow feet and they fit him perfectly.

This is identical to shoe I bought four years ago. After two weeks and many miles hiking in Great Britian on the new pair they are fully as comfortable as older shoe with no break in needed.

This hiker is just what I was looking for. A sturdy low waterproof hiker to wear when a mid or high-top boot is not needed. Hopefully this pair of Bean boots will last as long as my last pair.
