After having shoes only 5 months and wearing them about 25 times stitching already coming apart about and inch up from where shoe meets sole. Stitching separation is already about an inch and a half long.
Other than this problem shoes are very good but are no longer waterproof.

My son wears a wide (EE) shoe. That is what I ordered but the shoe was too narrow (i.e. the shoe was not (EE)). Others have commented on this problem. I wouldn't recommend buying these shoes unless you have a lot of time to spending mailing them back for exchanges.

I am going to start by saying that I used to own the original version of these hiking shoes but in the mid top and I could stand with the toe submerged in water for hours and never get wet. I decided to purchase a pair of the low top shoe version for work and on the first day I wore them in a damp grass field with a slight drizzle all day. By the end of the day my toes were soaked. Beware, by no means are these hiking shoes waterproof. These "waterproof" hiking shoes should at least withstand damp to wet conditions for hours but that was not the case. I will be returning them when I have the chance.

The width on these shoes is entirely too tight and they are entirely too stiff. Very uncomfortable.

I do not have wide feet but the initial pair were way too narrow. Sent them back and ordered same pair in wide width. The wide pair were also way too narrow so I had to send them back too. Have now paid $13 restocking fees for narrow shoes that should have fit to begin with. Will not be buying shoes from LL Bean again.

I buy 12 mediums all the time. This is narrower than any other hiking boot I've bought. Very uncomfortable. And there is no way this is a waterproof shoe. It's coming back via the return label.

Left shoe blistered badly big toe and toe to its left. Size 11M that I always order. First shoes from LLB. I ever had a problem with. Unfortunately, I destroyed shipping box and documents before I wore them on the street.

The Wide version is not wide. Very narrow and hurt my feet after wearing 1 hour. Very dissatisfied. Had to return and got Merrells which are fantastic.
