Awesome strong hiker, did not climb Mt Everest but did some ME and NH hijes strong shoe great traction comfortable and stylish

This is the third time that I have bought the same hiking shoe as I wear them out. They are super comfortable while offering my feet the support they need. Also, keeping my feet dry is a big plus. When these are worn I will replace them with another pair.

I purchased these in January and it's now August. The only regret I have is not buying these sooner. After 7 months they seem to be wearing very well. The waterproofing is excellent. I live in Michigan so they've experienced snow, rain and very heavy dew. My feet stay dry! These are very comfortable and support my foot for hikes. I hope they are still available when it comes time to replace my current pair. I would absolutely buy these again. . . and recommend them to others!

Very comfortable since the first try. Very good quality, I am amazed how nice my feet feel even after a 2-3hrs hike. I needed a low cut boot for the summer months, this is the perfect one. I think that I will have these for a long long time. Llbean has got you covered!

I hiked in the foothills in Nepal (above 7000') for 3 days in the leather Italian boot and suffered. I've tried a couple of others...Danner etc. but these LLBean shoes are the 1st that feel comfortable. Admittedly a shoe not a boot but l will now consider their boot as well.

When I left the store I was wearing the boots. The salesman asked: "Are you wearing them out?" That will take a long time. These are just like the pair I did finally wear out, after years of hard wear. They remained waterproof, & the sole had a grip on slippery rocks unlike any other boot. Over the years L.L.Bean has tweaked the design slightly, making improvements, but they have finally hit on the ideal, for me. They fit like a boot (glove?). I set out that very afternoon to hike in the woods.

I bought this pair for a handicapped son, with difficult to fit feet. These were a fine product, good looking and fit well for his street walking - he does not hike.

I am very impressed with this Bean product and this is the third pair that I have purchased, wearing the first two pairs out with a tremendous amount of use both on and off the trail. The waterproof quality comes in very handy when day hiking and the sole provides ample traction. I normally wear a size 10EE but have found that the sizing is a tad smaller, so 10.5EE fits perfectly. I would highly recommend these hiking shoes.

I have worn tithe trail model hiking shoes a few times now and I am very happy with the comfort and the construction of the shoe. I have not worn them in wet weather yet but I am sure they will be as advertised. I will recommend these to friends and buy for myself again when I wear these out.

Excellent fit - no break-in required.

I purchased this item because I had a prior boot for the past number of years and had worn them out after 7+ years. These ones which are the same model feel great and I look forward to wearing them for a number of years.

This is my second pair of Waterproof Hikers (purchased after my first pair became so worn that they were no long waterproof after 5 years' use). They are comfortable and rugged. I wear them almost everywhere, even when I'm not hiking.

I bought these shoes for a trip to Iceland concentrating on some of the wilder parts of the country, including hiking up to the newly erupting volcano. These shoes could not have been a better choice. I was looking for good support on fairly rough terrain, and found that they provided that support, but also were extremely comfortable and kept my feet warm and dry in sometimes difficult conditions. They also offered good traction on the volcanic terrain of the country. I give them my highest rating.

The shoes look good and fit perfectly! Walked a couple of miles in them the first day I received them. Felt good. No downside so far.

This is my second pair of these shoes. They are excellent for trail walking and day hiking.

The salesman told me this shoe would help me walk better. I was walking on the side of my foot. This kept my foot straight, no roll. He really helped me out. Didn't get his name but he should be recognized.Thank you for, ( the support ).

I just purchased my 3rd pair. These are as rugged as my $250 Osolo hiking boots. I have put probably around 13,000 hiking miles from walking our dog on some rugged trails. They give great support and are super comfortable. I also use orthotics in them because of my flat feet. Great shoes.

I got these during the winter on sale to hike doe the spring and summer. I finally was able to try them out and I couldn't be happier. They were comfortable and didn't feel too suffocating on my feet.

They feel great , and fit perfectly. I have arthritius in my big toe of my right foot and these shoes are the only pair I can wear that does not pain in the toe.

Mail order that I have ordered at least twice as I wear them out - it takes a few years to reach replacement time. Great fit, comfortable, wonderful wearability. Maintains waterproofing
