I got these to replace my skate shoes. Now I ride electric unicycles and want more ankle support.
These grip spiked pedals nicely. Slippery on wet floors

I have not tested out their actual usage yet, other than they are warm! My normal vans size is 9.5, but I had to go to 10.5 for these. Maybe even an 11! Be careful ordering online.

These are awesome. Stylish and comfortable but they are a little tight in the toe area. I will still wear them though. Love the color combo.

The shoes are very high-quality and look as good as they did in the picture. But they do run on the small side, with that said, why is it so difficult to exchange a pair of shoes with vans? Meaning you have to go to a retail brick and mortar to change the size your shoes. And to make matters worse the shoe in question is not in stock in any retail store near me. Still love the shoes hate the service.

These are probably the coolest looking shoes I've ever owned. Only downside is they start out a little narrow and you have to break them in for a few days before they stop hugging your feet so much. Still worth wearing.

Will rate when I get my new size. I bought this pair in the tan and green colors because I like them so much. My brother sold me on them.

I work landscaping full-time and I am on my feet 40+ hours a week. I've had a pair of these for one whole year and they are still holding up well. I did not wear them every single day (had an extra pair of work shoes I alternated between). These are by far more comfortable than any other work shoe I've had. My only complaint is that the toe bed is a little narrow. Whenever I need another pair, I am going to go up half a size to give my toes a little bit more space, especially when I wear thicker work socks. I can do everything in these shoes! Dig holes, drag brush, operate a skid steer, drive trucks, etc. Great job Vans!!!

Love the look of these and the weather proofing, had the sk8hi mte's previously which ran a little big so I sized down for these too which was a mistake. They're snug/narrow in the toe. But, overall a fantastic winter pair of vans.

Great quality shoe, and size is accurate except these are very narrow shoes, these 11.5s are tight compared to my normal 11.5s, so much that I can't wear them.

Extremely lightweight and comfortable. I have a few friends that play college football and they're just as light or lighter than their cleats. It almost feels like magic given how much larger in size these shoes are than your average cleat. I've had two pair for almost two years. I work a job where I'm on my feet constantly and I've gone through a number of shoe brands trying to find one that doesn't give me a headache by the end of the day and for me these are that shoe. I've always been a Nike fan and have probably bought a few dozen pairs of Nikes over the course of my shoe buying endeavors looking for a good looking all around daily work shoe/boot and no hate against Nike but I don't think I'll be buying another pair. I bought both pairs of shoes (different colors than those offered above) with the water proof spray however I haven't used the spray on either of my vans in order to see how well they hold up over the course of the past year or so of almost constant wear. I hunt and fish a lot, specifically saltwater fishing in places where your feet will get soaked. I'm not sure why but something about the salt water tends to melt the glue that attaches the sole to the body of the shoe I've gone through a number of shoes where the entire sole will eventually come off (usually within 5-7 times of coming in contact with salt water). While I haven't tested these specific shoes my white ultra range exos have been soaked in saltwater plenty of times without a bit of separation once again WITHOUT the waterproof spray. These are the lightest most comfortable good looking shoes that I've ever owned. With that being said here's why I say they're almost perfect: they truly suck on wet surfaces. As I stated before I hunt and fish a lot and while the fabric stitching and glue has held up reliably the grip leaves much to be desired. On anything that's not a flat surface, they're fine even when wet they could be a bit more grippy but they're not the worst. When water is paired with any kind of flat surface meaning any kind of flooring, concrete, asphalt, etc they become about as useful as roller skates requiring me to pretty much shuffles and walk on my toes as to not let my heal slip out from under me. I never write reviews but I wanted to write this one. This past weekend I went on a fishing trip and it was the first time wearing my vans in a boat at this point. Long story short it started raining pretty hard so we docked nearby and once the rain stopped I took a pretty hard spill sliding from the upper deck of the boat into the lower deck. This was even with me anticipating the fall knowing how these shoes react with wet surfaces. Luckily I landed mostly on my feet and wasn't hurt but it needs to be known that while these shoes are probably my favorite I still fell even when I was anticipating the fall and was able to mostly catch myself. I would still absolutely recommend these to anyone and everyone but I would absolutely give them a warning in regards to how they react with water. I would like to see Vans add some sort of rubber grip even at an additional cost. In my experience, something similar to that of a soft compound tire preferably with texturing works best. While yes this can and will wear down over time you'll still have a better grip than you have with none at all. Once again I love these and would recommend them to everyone but I definitely want to see these with a bit better texturing on the grip.

The shoes looked fantastic and felt comfortable except they narrowed at the toe box. I reluctantly returned them and choose not to go up a full size.

These shoes are comfortable; however, the front of the shoe is all black and not the gum color as pictured. I can't recommend because the product is not as advertised.

Loved the shoe but toe was short, purchased MTE3 in same size and there was a definite size difference.

So I'm a 20 year Van's customer and will always be one. All the reviews are right! So they are snug for sure with all the awesome padding/insulation. The tread is killer. They look great. So some might need to go 1/2 size up (I didn't or they'd be too long. I'm a size 11 and the length was dead on). BUT because of all the awesome padding, I wear orthotics and therefore had to take the insole out to put the orthotics in the shoe (I've never had to do that with any of my vans, Sk8 Hi's, MTE's, etc). So taking that insole out make them rock hard to walk in (in the house of course). I thought the midsole was going to be super comfy and super soft, but it's not. If I actually had arches in my feet, I'd love these to death, but there's just no room in them for my needs. Sadly, I had to return. Super bummed about it, but I'll keep being loyal to my brand for sure!

I actually bought these shoes for work originally (I bartend and am on my feet all day) and they have saved me at work! But I love the style and comfort so much I wear them out and about, on hikes, working out, concerts, everyday life. Great shoes!

I purchased these for training and outside use. Very tough and warm. Would go a half size up due to the insulation inside makes for a tight fit

Overall a great shoe that looks exactly as pictured online. Seems very durable, although some slight imperfections on the shoe itself such as a thread I had to cut off, and the black rubber on the top of one of the shoes is slightly misaligned in one place. Nothing majorly noticeably is wrong, just those 2 small things, but they're the reason a star is deducted

These are super warm, and mostly comfortable. They fit a little small due to all the extra padding. Overall I love them but I would suggest ordering a half size bigger. After 8 hours on my feet my toes hurt a bit.

These are cute but run small. I'm a size 6 and I went up a half size due to some other reviews and they're still little too snug. Must be because of the thick inner sole. Just reordered them in a 7, hoping it will be a better fit and I'll send the 6.5 back. But overall they seem like they will be a warm shoe for the winter.

Really comfortable to walk in. However, I have wide feet and found that the shoe was a little too narrow in the toe box. Cannot wear with thick socks.

Not for wide feet. I had to upsize to a 12 and it's still a bit constricting on the sides. I still haven't broken them in but it's still a great shoe. Would recommend for sure just don't buy online if you have wide feet.
