I returned the product as they were too narrow, even though I ordered a size larger than what I normally wear. Well constructed, though.

Great weather proof boot. Wish they still made their lightweight everyday boot.

I have a similar pair but they're all leather and I thought that's what I was getting. I don't really like the material on this one and they're not as comfortable as my last pair.

PLEASE offer this shoe with a wider toe box that does not narrow in at the top. My son has wide toes and it sucks to be so limited in the options available for him. Men's size 12 wide width in this shoe would be perfect.

I have had a pair of these shoes for about two months now. I have had no bad experiences with these except the top/front of the shoes fated. I wear these shoes for work (I'm a Paramedic) so light to moderate use. I have worn other Vans like the Half Cabs and Skate-Hi's with no issues. I have tried to clean them or brush them off however, the black color hasn't returned.

Shoe fit well besides toe area. I don't believe sizing up would have resolved the toe area.

The sole of the left shoe is off center leading to fitment problem. I feel like my foot is hanging off the edge of the sole and always am trying to readjust.

The color and styling is amazing! However, they are so narrow it hurts too much to wear them after a few hours. I have the laces completely loose and I've tried stretching them. They're just too painful through the toe bed. NONE of my Vans down through the years have been tight! Normally, Vans are extremely comfortable.

I love the shoes but can only give 3 stars as the shoes are too tight in the toe area and shoes laces are even to short to tie them. I Wear a size 10 in all other vans I have ordered and never had this issue. Unfortunately I wear them for work and the first day they got dirty and now I cant return them, hesitant to buy another pair.

Ordered these online in my typical size but the toe area was far too narrow. Ended up returning them at a storefront and discovered that you need to size up.

Haven't worn the shoe yet since it's still in the 90s. This shoe is so warm that I don't think I will wear it until late fall when the temps drop. Really wish Vans would make a waterproof warm weather shoe in colors I could wear at work. Speaking of colors. The last few pairs have not even been close as to what they looked like online.

Way too narrow. I bought half size big and still way to tight in toes. If make a wide I would try those .

Bought these cause i love my MTE-2 and summer is coming, but these do not have the same level of comfort and feel thinner and stiffer that my MTE-2

I have loved the MTE's since they first came out and frankly loved the first gen of those. I bought these thinking they fit well and of course wore them out and within minutes realized I made a poor choice. I love winter and hike and walk a lot. There is no support so my ankles and arches hurt pretty quickly. The toe area is really tight and I don't have wide feet and it doesn't stretch at all due to the plastic/rubber wrap around the front of the toes. Lastly, and I think what makes these totally unwearable for me, is that they don't breath at all. Just me, but I soak my socks within minutes with these and could never wear these more than an hour or so. I'm so completely gutted that I not only spent so much on these (never spent that much on shoes, especially ones I can't hike in or wear) but that I wore them out of the house.

The boot is amazing. The laces aren't long enough to lace up to the top eyelet. On a hiking boot where ankle support is crucial, this makes no sense.

Size chart is way off. Also, toe box is for ants. Do net get if you have wide feet and order 2 sizes up! It's in the mail back.

A little more cushion in the sole would be nice and I'm highly disappointed they don't exchange it if you need a different size if you order online.

Shoe runs extremely narrow. Exchanged for a larger size and still felt tight.

These are adorable, but they don't have very good traction on ice and snow. Unfortunately, I think they are my most slippery shoes, and I was hoping they'd power me through at least a couple of Minnesota winters! I'd also recommend sizing up on these, they are tight on my toes and I can't wear them anymore. :(

I own a few pairs of Vans shoes and so I bought these in my normal size and they run a size small. Definitely size up!

I think this shoe is so stylish and visually stunning, but the fit and comfort just didn't cut it. I ordered in my usual size, but they were a half-size too small. I tried on a pair in-store to find one that fit, but even after they fit my foot, they were very stiff, narrow at the toe, and not breathable or cushy like I had hoped. I ended up returning and purchasing the Sk8-HI MTE-2, which are insanely comfortable!
