I have pretty flat feet and so I've avoided the traditional Van surfer slip-ons. These shoes however are so comfortable I don't want to take them off!!!

Super comfy, super tough. I wear these everywhere. I'm on my motorcycle 99% of the time and they grip the pavement better than any other shoe out there. They go with me to the gym day after day and take whatever I throw at them. Highly recommend and will be buying more.

Vans quality and styling are always top notch.

Was looking into the sk8-hi but gave these a shot. Couldn't be happier. Fit and finish is excellent and very supportive.

I love these shoes. I have vans for every weather, hot and cold. These are my new winter shoes and they are incredibly warm, too warm if the weather gets above around 55 degrees with the sun out. Despite other reviews, these are true to fit. I wear a 10.5 in Vans and have been wearing that size since I started wearing vans oner 15 years ago, these are no different. Seems like the reviewers who complain they are too small say they are too narrow. I have a standard with foot and these are a little tighter than other vans but not by much and really just in a "keep you warm" kind of way. Buy your standard size if you have a standard width foot. I ordered 3 different sizes just to be sure but I ended up with my normal Vans size.

Worked in the woods the first day I got them. Feet kept dry and warm all day. Super comfy and love the look! Best Vans yet!

The styling is amazing. I love looking down at my feet while wearing these because they just look so good. Quality is there. You can see the seams and construction is cared about. As for comfort, my god it's like slipping your foot into a nice comfy pillow or like a thousand small fluffy puppies are lined inside the show. Seriously it's amazing. And they are insulated keeping my feet nice and warm, which is great for me because my feet stay cold.

Got a pair for my 10 yr. old. He is picky with clothes and shoes; he LOVES these! They are comfortable, sturdy, weather resistant, and look good.

We bought these as a gift for someone who does a lot of skateboarding and walking. He loves them. We do suggest insoles for longevity of support.

I purchased a pair of these last year & liked them enough to get another. They're comfortable to stand a while in & are really warm. Favorite winter shoes!

These shoes are a must, perfect for replacement for a winter boot. Most comfortable shoe yet I have hiked in them and have spent entire day in the snow. Highly recommend

Shoe is well made. Kept my feet warm in 30 degree weather. A little puffy looking for my liking but the quality was good. And maybe once theyre broken in theyll look a little less like a osiris or dc shoe with the fat tongue lol Size: i am a 5.5 in normal vans but i ordered a 6 and fit well with a thick sock.

These are VERY stiff. Beautiful. Soft. Lovely. Just size up 1 whole size. Trust me. I've been wearing vans exclusively for 20 years.

I haven't worn vans or mid tops in over 20 years (unless you count work boots for the mid tops). I always remembered Vans shoes as being flat footed, unsupportive, uncomfortable, and heavy. I've tried them on over the years, but never pulled the trigger because much never seemed to change until recently. I could feel the difference and see the direction they were going. My style and needs were changing a lot and most my shoes have become super light, comfortable, and easy to slip on/off. Maybe it's because I got older, I cared more about comfort than overall look. The problem was I really had nothing to wear when it rained or I had to go in the snow. Most my shoes were light weight because they were a mesh material up top and this would lead me to have soaked feet. I finally tried these on and felt the support on my arch more than past shoes I have tried from them and the MTE seemed to fit my need. I've been wearing them whenever it rains lately or is just cold and have really started to enjoy them. They have actually started becoming one of my favorite pairs and I have a LOT of pairs of shoes right now. Makes me consider thinking about getting a low top version or maybe a non MTE version for the summer days so they are much lighter.

I wanted my gf walk comfortable & warm as possible since we live near Lake Tahoe very cold in air. Overall she loved her shoes I gave her for her birthday!

True to size. Very comfortable and no break in required. I plan to use this boot (black-gum) for SWAT on light days and maybe into heavy long kitted up days. Vans reach out to me because I'm gonna put your boots through the ringer at many levels you don't market for at this time. Perhaps partnering up with first responders your boots will market a different population. So far the boot has exceeded expectations. I plan to wear a lot of 12 hour plus days through many terrains. Stay up dated! Super gnarly boots and color.

I've had these for a couple of months now and I can say with absolute confidence that these are my new favorite shoes. They are super comfy and stylish, and on top of that, they keep my feet warm and dry. I have never bought a dedicated winter shoe before and have always just suffered through Montana winters wearing some regular running shoes. Not afraid of some slush anymore!

Love the boots comfortable no complaints

Boots fit great are comfortable and seem.to be well made. I just wear them for casual use outside of work.
