The coat was lovely and warm but too small.

This is my second time purchasing this style because I, unfortunately, spilled paint on my last one. When it arrived, I was disappointed to see that North Face had downgraded the embroidered logo to some sort of vinyl but my real issue is that they had also downgraded the snaps from metal to a super cheap plastic that did not withstand even the slightest pull before detaching. I literally could not hang my coat from the hood or pick my coat up from the hood without the snaps detaching. I see that I am not alone in that complaint although North Face told me they had no reported issues with the snaps when I called to complain. Coat is going back but I can't even find a suitable replacement since they are out of my size and color option for everything similar. Such a disappointment because I think North Face coats are the warmest but if they are going to be skimping on quality materials, I may spring for a Montcler or Canada Goose.

I've worn some version of this jacket for probably close to a decade and was really disappointed in this newer addition. The hood now snaps off, which in theory is nice, but it comes unsnapped really easily, and I feel like I'd lose it in a week or two. The structure of the jacket has also changed, so it cinches in at the waist (nice in theory) and then completely poufs out after that. It basically looks like it has its own hips built in and adds a lot of extra bulk, something I'm already trying to avoid with a puffy coat. It made me look way bigger than I was, and like the jacket was tight in the top half even though it wasn't. I ended up returning it and getting something similar from Patagonia instead.

Love this coat, the discrete logo make this very sleek. Hate the hood. Disappointed the hood isn't very sturdy. I love the coat so much that I don't want to look for another one I am keeping the coat. I have to get the hood sewn onto the coat. I don't love that part of the design. I am sure TNF knew that.

I am ultimately disappointed with this coat. I wish I had ordered it in black, because it stains TERRIBLY. Even water leaves a large mark that is difficult to get out.

I love the fit and how warm it is. I absolutely HATE how easily the hood detaches. You are constantly reattaching the snaps. For the price you would expect better quality in the overall product.

I ordered this coat with intentions on wearing it in between wearing my heavy winter coats. Immediately after opening my package, I noticed it had a few flaws. Thread was sticking out from the stitching on the front of the coat along the waist. Not a big deal. But then i noticed there were a few feathers sticking out. I plucked them out not thinking much of it. But now after a few wearsI'm noticing feathers EVERYWHERE and I've only worn this coat a handful of times. Other than that it's lightweight and warm.

The Hood on this Jacket doesn't stay on. I kept the coat because it's really lightweight but warm. They really need to give whoever bought this coat a coupon because the Hood is poorly made.

I love this jacket. I bought it for my trip to GreenBay for a game at the frozen tundra. I was warm even when temperatures dropped to 15 degrees. I didn't rate the jacket five stars because the hood is detachable and falls off VERY easily which is super annoying!!

I like the warmth, but it is almost not worth it. You can't hold the coat by the hood, it will fall off. It falls off just trying to put it on. I put it on the back of my chair and by the end of the day, without barely touching it, the hood fell off. I would not buy it again for this reason.

I love the the jacket itself. Very lightweight and warm but the only thing I hate about it is the hood. The snap easily detached. We recently had a strong wind gust in Alaska and my jacket hood got blown away. I love how it complete the look of my jacket now I don't have the hood anymore. So North Face,. I got a Metropolis 3, maybe u can replace the hood. Lol

It's a nice jacket but for cost, not worth it. Not designed for Canadian winters and the hood easily unclips or rips off any time I put it on.

The design is for 5'6-5'10 because the waist. I am 5'3 and it looked off to me. I though it was cute, but North Face needs to get some petite design out.

This jacket is very warm, however some cons are that the hood is a snap on instead of zip so it gets tugged easily and unattached. Also, I've always been a size Large in northface but this jacket is more tight fitting harder to move my arms when I wear sweaters

The coat itself is a flattering fit and very warm. Unfortunately, the snaps that attach the hood to the jacket are very weak. Half the time I pull the hood over my head, half the snaps come undone. One time when I was hanging it up, the whole hood snapped off from the body of the jacket. If the snaps were stronger, it would merit five stars.

I LOVE how flattering this coat is, especially if you have curves. Hood is spacious which works well for my big head (hate hoods that are too small). Design of the body of the coat is extremely flattering on waist and butt. BUT. There are TWO FLAWS that led me to sadly, reluctantly have to return it. The first problem is that the outer fabric seems too thin, and almost immediately feathers start popping out everywhere. Not a good look. The second problem is that, as many other reviewers have mentioned, the snaps that attach the hood are very flimsy, so the hood breaks off at the slightest touch or tug. North Face, PLEASE re-do this gorgeous coat by making it have a down-spillage-resistant outer fabric and better quality snaps to firmly attach the hood! Just please, please, PLEASE don't change the gorgeous pattern of the coat. I'd buy several colors with those improvements.

I REALLY wanted to like this coat. I love North Face jackets. They are well made and very warm. BUT this jacket wears UGLY. I have to agree with the other comments - functional but makes a person looks like an upside down bucket when worn.

First time wearing it today and it's...fine. The zipper isn't the quality it should be and the hood isn't very securely attached--no zipper, you're relying on flimsy plastic snaps and it has already almost fallen off on its first wearing. It's cute and warm, I'm just not sure it's going to stay that way or if it's even a keeper. Fit-wise, it is definitely a slim fit, so if you have hips at all, order a size up.

This jacket is comfy and great. I am keeping it because I'm tired of the same old dark boring colors and this line offers nice appealing colors. Draw backs would be how awkward and embarrassing the hood is, and also the hood doesn't fully cover you if you have a bun. Would be nice if it was less point and more room in general. Pricey. Love that I can zip up all the way to my neck for warmth even when I'm not wearing the hood. Wish it was warmer.

For the price of the coat the feathers shouldn't come out of it. All down the arms there are feathers coming out. Very disappointed.

Super excited about this coat as it was a gift for my birthday. The coat is very warm and a great length. However when zipped up, it was very unflattering on me. For reference, I am 5'5 and 150 lbs, bigger chested, and have wide hips. The cut under the chest is what made it unflattering. Wish the coat was not fitted. Would not recommend for women built like me, but could be more flattering on a more petite figure.

The jacket was so nice and warm when I tried it on at the store, however the packaging it came in is so disappointing. It came completely squished. The jacket itself is great I would give it a 4/5.
