Great boot and pretty warm! I was between size 8 and 8.5 and ordered both. Ended up going with the 8 which is my usual boot size. 8.5 was too much heel slip. Eventually you won't need a shoe horn to put them on as they do loosen up a little and are pretty comfortable. I have not noticed any issues with wearing them indoors. They are my winter go-to boot!

Back grip is great for helping to get on quickly, especially when they are new and a little stiff. Sole traction is super and there is no way any wetness is getting inside the shoe!

I really love these boots. I was initially worried about the fit, size 6, but they fit perfectly and are very well constructed. They are comfortable, and the inner sole is removable if needed. There is a lot of rain where I live and will get a ton of use out of these for work as well as an everyday outside shoe. Some have complained that they are hard to get on, this is not a slip on type shoe. You do have to gently push your foot into it, but once on they are not slipping, they fit snugly like a good boot should, but not tight. They keep water and mud out and are warm. Great for gardening also.

Great wet weather shoes. I love that they're slip on. Saves so much time not having to lace up shoes several times each day. Good fit, good support for a slip on shoe, somewhat warm, nice-looking and waterproof bottoms, so I feel secure walking through muddy places and puddles. And the Vibram arctic grip soles add more security when walking in winter weather. I'm very glad I bought these. Thanks for making them, LL Bean. Great shoes.

These were a little snug. I bought a pair of these about four years ago and ordered a half size larger than I wear because I planned to wear heavy wool socks with them. These were really big so this time I ordered my regular size even though the website suggested ordering a half size larger. Well they are still a little hard to get on with thick socks. They are warm and waterproof and they are fine once I get them on.

I love these shoes! I bought them so that I would have a supportive shoe for going for walks in the snow. These are perfect!! They're light weight, very comfortable and they support my feet and grip the ground in the snow. I don't feel like I'm going to slip and slide on snowy, slippery ground.

These boots are for anyone who walks down muddy paths to the barn during stormy weather. They are easy to pull on and will keep your feet warm and dry.

this is my 3rd pair of storm chasers. I wear them all winter log to walk my dog and to navigate my way through icy areas while I do so. They are well made and insulated. My feet are never cold and I don't worry that I will slip and fall. True that the shoe is a little hard to slip on, but that keeps it securely on my foot and protects it from the elements and my feet stay comfy and dry. I wish it was a little wider for my feet however.

I can't wear higher boots without hurting my ankles. These kept my feet dry and warm while shoveling snow, and were so comfortable that I forgot about them. Usually wear an 8 1/2 to 9. These are 9, worn with medium weight socks. Thank you

This is my second pair of Storm Chaser 4 slip-ons. They are so comfortable, and I wear them for long walks with my dogs - they help when it is wet and slippery. They do take a little breaking in.

These are some grippy shoes - excellent tread on snow, ice, and mud! The uppers are stiff (a good thing in a slip-on shoe with great tread), but they are becoming more flexible with wear and easier to put on.

Todays style seems to run a bit smaller than the same shoe I bought years ago

Exactly what I was looking for. I can step into them when my hands are full and be out the door quickly. They're warm and comfortable and protect my feet in mud, icy slush, and a few inches of snow. No slipping on ice! I like mine so much that my husband bought the men's version.

These shoes are perfect for going to and from work in the snow and the ice. Also great for walking the dog. They are really perfect.

Easy to get in and out of. Great when I work in my yard and garden.

These are quick and easy to put on, so it's easy to take the dog out to the bathroom and not spend a lot of time lacing up a pair of shoes! Lots of ice in South Dakota, so like the arctic grip, it does work!

I bought these a few years ago to replace my bubs (big ugly black boots). They were hard to get on without a shoehorn, but now that they're worn-in it's easier. Wanted this second pair so I could have the new pair as is and keep yak-trax in the old pair. These have good traction but walking dogs in icy conditions requires extra grip. They resist the slush and salt well, and are comfortable for stiff boots. Tread is tough, doesn't wear down quickly; I clock 4-5mi/day on pavement walking the dog, even in winter. New on left, old on right in photo. And they're fairly warm, though I can't use thick socks with them.

Love these. The tread is 100% better that what the Storm Chaser 5's has right now. I needed the better tread for our yard and these are perfect.

It's not super easy to slip into these but they do "hug" my foot well once they are on. They are great when we have slushy snow to deal with. My feet stay warm & dry.

These shoes are warm and supportive. They are the only shoes I brought on my trip to wet England. They are fine for normal walking around, or hiking muddy trails. They are completely waterproof, and stayed warm inside even when I flooded them over the top in a pond. They clean up well. Very slip resistant. At first they were extremely tight, but they loosened. However I must carry a small shoehorn always to put them back on, since I must take them in inside any home. I think it's worth it because the snug fit makes them stable.

These are the best shoes for wet, cold and snowy weather. Great fit and good grip.
