Best winter walking boot around for a farmer. The arctic grip is key for sure footing on those slippery paths going to and from the barn to feed the animals. This is my third pair over a number of years. Very good quality. I wear daily for all outside chores where I need sure footing. I am fully satisfied and highly recommend.

These boots are easy on and off. They are warm and great for our Maine muddy season and slushy winter weather. I have had Bean boots in the past but these are the most comfortable ones I have owned.

These shoes are as advertised and more. Fantastic gripping for ice. They really work. Slip-ons make it so much easier to put on quickly to run out with the dogs. Yes, they slip on. A tad stiff at first but like all LLBean boots, they ease up in about a week. I prefer to use a long shoehorn but that's just me-I have back problems. You don't need it. High enough for a few (3) inches of drier snow like we have perpetually here in Central Oregon, usually. I recommend the higher top lace up ice boots for more snow. Again, they have great grip and very nice leather. Oh, and really important is that they have a nice arch and memory foam insoles! Not hard and flat like other brands. Give them a good try!

Perfect for walking the pup on a chilly morning. Warm, good support and grips surfaces.

I love these short hiking boots. I wore them last week and there was plenty of grip on the mountain trails.

Very nice winter shoes as long as your not in deep snow, this was a gift to my wife and she loves them, the little pads for ice traction are a great idea they do help!

My job is outside every day, including all four seasons and winter being 20-40 degrees for 5+ months. We live in a temperate rainforest, so my work area is often extremely muddy. I had very specific requirements for my work shoes. I wanted them to be waterproof, warm, comfortable, without laces, hiking boot-like traction, but a shoe and not a boot because I hate the feeling of boots. I looked everywhere and could not find exactly what I was looking for. Enter these shoes! They are absolutely perfect. I've abused them, worn them all day, in rain and snow, walked for miles, and they are just a dream. I hope they continue to make these shoes forever.

I love the feel of these boots and wear them as much as I can when it's snowing outside. They keep my feet warm and am very glad for that as well.

I love these boots! I took them to Iceland a few weeks ago and that's all I wore. Waterproof, warm and slip on and off but have a rugged sole for short hikes.

Great slip-on style - heavy-duty construction without feeling cumbersome or heavy. Purchased the gray chasers last year and was very pleased with the level of comfort and performance during cold weather walks and light hikes - getting another pair in black this season seemed like an easy decision!

Comfortable, warm. The non-slip treads are great on snow, ice. Easy on and off.

I am just beyond thrilled to have found these boots. That are just perfect for me as I have a narrow foot and it is difficult for me to find shoes and boots. If you happen to also have a narrow or slim foot grab them while you can. They work just great on ice. I live in Northern Minnesota. These boots are a blessing.

Well here in Northern OHIO we truly get winter. I knew my knee was bad and we were getting 28 below wind chills headed our way!! I live in a cabin with 34 stone steps to get to our lower level door. Purchasing storm chasers literally kept me upright! They were tight to get into but once on perfect! I had to get down to my chickens everyday and the weather was brutal! Too cold to shovel and had 6 and 8 hour power outages 4 times. But my Storm Chasers were a life saver! I'm old, overweight and overly muscle free but walking up and down was actually worry free!

These were a gift for my sister. She loves them, loves, them, loves them. Most comfortable winter snows she's ever owned, and doesn't want to take them off.

Excellent winter-early spring shoe for outdoor chores and errands: slip on but take an orthotic to give excellent support. Good- looking shoe in classic LLB way, yet grippier, better all-purpose sole than famous Maine guide boot. Although a slip-on, it's cut high enough for many snow and mud conditions. Wool and leather uppers retain warmth, yet not too hot for summer .

I have purchased the Storm Chaser boots with Arctic Grip the past few years and they are worth the purchase. When I saw the low cut slip on I ordered a pair. These boots and slip on are well made and I feel they give better traction on slippery surfaces. Living in Montana with long winters I choose to wear them most all the time outside for the better grip especially during ice conditions.

Excellent shoe, last pair I had lasted 10 yrs and they still had good tread on them. Recently wore my new pair to Drakes Island Beach, ME last week and had visited the flagship store of LL Bean up in Freeport. Beautiful store and so nicely decorated inside and out for Christmas

Living in a northern town in Michigan, these not only made me feel more confident on my feet in winter with every step, but gave me a sense of freedom that I didn't have. My first pair succumbed to overuse and treacherous conditions after 3 years. I was very happy to get this new pair, not for fashion's sake, but for practical use in the sometimes harsh conditions that I live in up here. The Vibram soles are worth every penny.

Storm Chaser Arctic Grip is very comfortable , other reviews mention they are hard to get on but with in one week I can slide my foot in easily. I am very happy with these and they keep my feet warm with a light or med weight wool sock. well made . But On hard ice you need ice spikes
